There's this old and mostly dead source mod (NeoTokyo) that I play a lot where some people recently noticed that teamkills give you points the same way regular kills do for whatever reason. As a result there's been a lot more players killing off their whole team the moment the game starts.
And most of the time you can't votekick the teamkillers off since it's a vanilla server, and you can't just find another server since that's the only populated one. :frown:
Some users on any forum that make threads/posts going "guys i'm leaving for a while!!" or "hey every1 i'm back!!" when no one had a damn clue who that person even was. Sometimes it'll be some dude with only like 30 posts.

Bonus points if they sign off every post like it's their blog.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm one of them.
I bought a phone VR headset off of Amazon. The shipping info says it was delivered to Cedar Creek, Texas.
I don't fucking live in Texas. Now I get to go through the process of attempting to get a refund! Fun!
How fucking incompetent can you be? How many people did it make it through who just ignored fucking "Tulsa, Oklahoma" on the fucking box? I'm so unbelievably pissed off right now. I waited weeks for the fucking thing to arrive and it turns out it got fucking delivered to someone else

Shame that mod gets no love anymore. The amount of detail and work that went into it is insane, plus I bought the soundtrack and it is so so good.
on topic, 75% of the people I work with. Plus the girl whom I've dubbed the "head hen" of all the servers constantly fucks orders up and is a general obnoxious twat, but gets a free pass because she's fucking the owner.
I want off this crazy ride sometimes, but the pay and hours are good.
My paranoia and anxiety has gone through the roof, but my depression has dropped thanks to my meds. I don't know if it's a fair trade

what gets me mad isn't what the professor did, which is the right thing and gives me a lot of good hopes and feelings about his class - but rather the downward greedy trend Uconn has been going down.
From the raising of tuition, parking pass prices (and charging for them at commuter campuses), supposedly not being able to afford things like an art gallery but then the school president giving herself a $200,000 raise, buy a second home for the school president ($660,000 in CASH, from a fundraising group that is supposedly supposed to directly benefit students), the selling of the school co-op to Barnes and Noble (probably why this change occurred). It's disgusting. I love Uconn, I love the staff I've interacted with and the students and campuses. What I hate is the downright rotten and greedy administration who only care about their own pockets.
This is america, everyone will gouge you for everything
The college textbook market is honestly disgusting as it's one of the biggest "you can't go without us" scams in the country and it's targeted at fucking college students who live off meager budgets. I hope for only the worst for the textbook business and hope mass sharing of textbooks kills the industry.

College currently as a whole is a scam, most people these days arn't going into lower skilled jobs anymore because we outsourced most of it. Our economy pyramid is very lobsided, you can't run a country fille with onlyhigh skilled jobs. I'm a tradesmen because I feel like college is a waste. You waste 4 years and 200,000$~ easy for a degree that may not guarrentee you that job.
I'm sorry but when I see people sign up for college and complain about it, I can feel for you, but at the same time it saddens me that there arn't that many people that arn't in the trades. You don't need a college degree for that. I'm a Aircraft mechanic and I take pride knowing that aircraft I overhauled is carrying people somewhere. It took me 1 1/2 years to get my License and I make 26/Hr easy. You guys should seriously look into the trades, this economy is craving that type of work. We need more Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, and Nurses.
Now I'm not dissing you guys, but the reality is that depending on what your college degree is, you are probably not going to get your dream job for a very long time. Yes we'll still need bankers, Doctor, Lawyers, And Engineers. But not everyone can be that.
Now I also hate what many call Acedemic Inflation. It's the situation where a job that had a certain set of education requirements now require even education higher standards due to more people having the same skills. Like a Mechanic job, used to require a GED/HSD and a license, but more people with even higher education are raising the bar even higher.
To sum up all the bullshit I just typed: I'm tired and I shouldn't be on FP because I have no idea what I just typed.
Unskippable ads are fun, especially if I am already pissed off.
Like, no, I couldn't give less of a shit about woman pads and woman hair shampoos. Fuck off.

My mate got really pissed off the other day because some TTT server we were on kept playing PS4 ads for him and because his speaker system isn't set up properly, the advert was louder than any other sound coming from his PC and his speaker system has a ton of bass so it was really bass-y too. Essentially, they were just playing adverts for no reason because it's one advert per IP so say.
Just imagine the thought of someone screaming "PS4, FOR THE PLAYERS!" in your face...

Sounds like an issue with your phone more than the OS.
I'm running Lollipop and it's fine.

Putting GPS on battery saving helped for about 5 minutes and now it's back to the same shit.
I don't feel like doing anything anymore
I dreamt that Microsoft putting Xbox exclusives like Forza and Halo on PC forced Sony to do the same with stuff like Uncharted and Gran Turismo. When I woke up I immediately googled to see if it was true but sadly not :(
Ugh. That job is supposed to start next week but there's no schedule. I'd tell the guy the deal is off but it's the only guaranteed job lead I have. Ugh. Then the other day on the train I overheard like 4 rich dickbags bragging about going to 100k private colleges and buying foo foo crap and fancy cars. The way some people live compared to the rest of us is unbelieveable and 90% of them don't even fucking appreciate it and only care about status. Wtf.

Well, they are putting PS Now on PC so there's always a possibility, but I doubt it honestly.
TLOU was built totally and 100% with the PS3 hardware in mind, and when they started developing it for the PS4, it took them a month to even get a build to launch.
It's not as easy as it'd be for Xbox games.

I want to make a little, fun over-the-top shooter where shotguns blast people in two and there's sliding and diving and other ridiculous shit
I could probably make all the assets I need for the visual style I want (I've been playing Soldier of Fortune with the settings turned way down on my laptop because I prefer blocky pixel textures over super blurry ones) but I fucking hate UE4's map editor and I don't know how to code shit.
Who knows, I need to take C++ as part of my major so maybe I should actually get to work on those assets, but I'm serious, I fucking despise UE4's editor. Coming from Hammer, the brush editor feels so unintuitive and gross, and since I don't have models to build the level with, I'm forced into using that editor.
[editline]a[/editline]
And I'd also need to figure out how to make UE4 have flatter, less realistic lighting. I don't need that fucking up my pixelated world.
if your job offer says it requires 1-3 years of experience within the field to get
then it isnt
entry level
u fuks
Do learn C++. Always wanted to force myself to do so, yet there's always the "i can't, i just can't" the moment i dwell into it :v:.

Do you try learning by doing graphical stuff? I mean not necessarily games, but a lot of people find it more satisfying to draw on screen than to see some text output on the console.
Swapped shifts this week with my co-worker so I could be at my daughter's first birthday party, now he suddenly remembers he has plans on Saturday after all and can't work, leaving me potentially working almost 50 hours this week and missing my daughter's birthday party.
My dog has cancer. Lovely
spend $100 I shouldn't have spent on a steam card to buy Doom and the game fucking runs in slow motion.
I need to upgrade my computer because it's out of date, and it's a fucking laptop, and buying a desktop is pointless until I move out because I won't be able to access it after 9pm thanks to my mum's boyfriend's sleeping on the couch.
In other words, I can't play modern AAA games any more, and I won't be able to for another ~5 years.
What is it with people spending an ungodly amount of time in a bath? Like christ I feel like my urine bowl is about to burst they've spent so much time in it.
