In Team Fortress 2, I despise the Teddy Roosebelt since it looks like crap (its head also shrinks) and I hate the female Scout model, since it's the most generic looking girl character I've ever seen.
Prison Break is a good show
I may have said this before but: Angry Video Game Nerd is not funny, it's just dumb.
Let's take a look at the latest box office standings, shall we *pictures* 1. Original idea (based off an article which was based off a true story) 2. Documentary 3. Original idea 4. Sequel to an original idea 5. Original idea 6. Original idea 7. Sequel to a movie based off a book 8. Original idea 9. Sequel to a movie based off a book 10. Original idea overall, half these movies are completely original ideas, and none of them are remakes, so I don't know where you're getting the idea that hollywood has never thought of something original besides, hollywood is first and foremost an business, so if they think an idea could make money if it was updated, go for it, it's not hurting anyone, it's more work for directors, cinematographers, actors, editors, riggers, makeup artists, production designers, etc
That is kind of a cherry picked example, because this year has seen more original releases than most. Admittedly Hollywood is improving on this front. However, I see no justification in remaking a film that is already good. I don't say that because I'm some kind of fanboy; believe me, I am not. I just think that there is a lot of creative assets going to work making the same damn movie over again and it is pointless. The movie already exists and it is fine on its own. If Hollywood wants to remake a bad movie that had potential I would be all over that idea, but we don't need to spend millions of dollars and years of time to "update" movies when that money and time could go towards making a new film. If someone wants to watch Robocop, they will go and watch Robocop. They don't need someone to remake the damn thing for them.
Ducktales Remastered was an unneccesary money-grubbing... thing. the music isn't even that good
I like the European Union
The dislike towards it is honestly for most part people being uninformed.
I don't see why people are so against suicide. They should be against the reasons why people want to kill themselves, not suicide itself.
Except for Dredd, when it was intentional, I've never noticed CGI blood in any movie. Anyone that complains about it is being nit picky and really overreacting.
Except for Dredd, when it was intentional, I've never noticed CGI blood in any movie. Anyone that complains about it is being nit picky and really overreacting.
I usually don't either, except in The Walking Dead. That was god awful.
I want to avoid saturating this thread with my videogame-related opinions, but unfortunately I was unable to locate the other thread that was dedicated to such subject matter. I think the best game to both emulate artillery and implement it as a system has been Combat Mission: Shock Force. Its dust/smoke effects also look wonderfully authentic, and they just go to support the semi-controversial idea that an austere approach towards graphics also tends to produce some of the most believable visual effects. I think the same can also be applied to sound design, to a lesser extent.
Eh, The only movie i've ever criticised for using CGI rather than something else is the hobbit. The Orcs just looked loads better in the past films where they were guys in costumes.
I think the issue of abortion is being handled in totally the wrong way. One side cries murder, the other side cries women's rights. Here's a simple solution: since biological death is defined as the absense of heart beat and brain activity, life should be the same way. Whenever that squishy bean-shaped person gets brain activity and has a heart beat, it should count as alive. If you abort it at that stage, it's murder. Before that point, anything goes. That is my (possibly) unpopular opinion on abortion.
Vaas is such an over Rated piece of garbage Character
The album version of Firelake's Dirge for the Planet is better than the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. version
I like the European Union
But you live in Canada (I assume) how could you like something you know nothing of.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page http://google.com/
You can read about something online but that will never give one the same insight as real life. Regardless I don't care if he likes the EU or not.
the death of an infant is nowhere near as bad as the death of a young adult. It just annoys me little. Oh 20 people died and ONE OF THEM WAS A TINY CHILD. A baby has about the same amount of intelligence as a cow. Most of you eat beef. Meanwhile an adult has years of information in them and years ahead of them to use it.
A baby has about the same amount of intelligence as a cow. Most of you eat beef.
Could you please explain the logic in this comparison? I'm wracking my brain on this but I honestly can't connect those two sentences. What does a baby's intelligence, or lack thereof, have to do with eating beef?
Winter is the best season
Well, if a monkey is smarter than a human and one of them has to die... I'd probably vote for the human's death. Fuck that's a shitty analogy. Anyways. We're ok with eating beef because cows don't realy express their hatred of being slaughtered enough for it to bother most of us. If meat cows started leaping from their holding fields yelling "you'l never take me alive" or something ironic like that then i'm sure we'd have a lot more vegetarians. That possibly didn't sound logical either. A baby, whilst possessing a lot of potential, isn't realy much as a baby.
How I Met Your Mother is the best Sitcom on T.V.
I prefer Two and a Half Men
Two and a Half Men hasn't been the same since charlie sheen left
Elder Scrolls series is boring.

No no one says that they just go "it's a child so it's worse", perfect example is like when people post others getting killed on here, whenever it's adults people just go "whats the story behind this?" "who did this?" "omg wow" "lol they keep screaming allahu ackbar" But then today that video of the 2 kids being killed is "omg I cant watch!" "omg I'm going to throw up!" so what about the adults that are getting killed? It reminds me of those weirdos who care more about an animals life then a humans
From what I've seen of Reddit, not heard, it looks like a fun place.
I'm surprised no-one defaced my account with a title branding me as some sort of man-hating lesbian purist or something...
