It's not that I disagree with some of the principles outlined in it but it really fucking pisses me off hearing americans whining on and on about "the Constitution". Especially when they use it as a catch all response to try and prove a point like "they can't do that, it's against the constitution" instead of actually formulating a logical argument or at least saying which part of the blessed "constitution" it violates. Yeah fuck constitution whiners.
There needs to be an offline version of HabitRPG in the Steam software library.
dota players are worse because they are also primarily PC-gaming valve fans too
please explain why being a fan of valve's work is a bad thing.

To be fair, Valve fanboys are some of the most obnoxious people.
Not saying all Valve fans are, but a lot are.

you're right, he should have specified fanboys though. Being a fanboy is different than being a simple and devoted fan.
Fanboys in general are terrible.
Nintendo aren't that great anymore. I feel like the only reason people still revere them is nostalgia alone.
or because they still release decent games? do people play pikmin 3 just because of nostalgia or because it's an actual game that people want? same with most of their other series, as well as the IPs that have come out over the last few years.
machine for pigs was p. bad both in scares and storytelling.
I'm getting sick of these Amnesia like 'survival' horror games.
I can't stand it when people say "oh guns don't kill people, people kill people". No, people with guns kill people. Also, I can't stand when people say that guns are just "tools" rather than weapons. No, guns were invented specifically to be a more efficient way to kill things. A gun's only purpose is to kill, be it an animal or human.
Fall is the worst season

I don't think the fact that guns were designed to kill should have any relevance in the gun debate.
Fall is the worst season
Far better than summer by a long shot though.
I'm fine with people killing eachother, so long as it isn't me.
Humans are designed to kill eachother. Just like guns. It's just a shame that nobody uses silencers cause it pisses me off when i'm woken up by the gunfire.
... Joking (partially).
Morals aside I, small, athletic and gentle as i am, could probably kill fair few people without weapons. It'd just be more work without a weapon. What's worse for everyone? Getting shot or having their neck punched in? I'm sure the Americans would probably revert to baseball bats if guns were to be banned. But banning guns would make killing people slower and therefore increase the likelihood of criminal being caught.
I'd just like you all to know that in real life i'm a lovely person and not as scary as this post is making me out to be. I enjoy drama classes on Saturday, Milkshakes, curry, dawn and dusk, alternative rock. I don't like horror, thriller or action films anywhere near as much as i like comedies. I'd like to wear flowers in my hair but people tell me not to..

I think he means that back when the first Chinese man stuffed gunpowder and bits of metal into a tube, he intended to point it at somebody so as to kill them, and that every country which adopted them afterwards did so for military purposes.
Recreational uses for firearms came centuries later.

Actually, ironically enough, the Chinese came up with gunpowder whilst looking for the elixir of life (immortality). But either way, he said that "a gun's only purpose to kill", I was simply providing proof that that is not the case.
The fact is, the "guns don't kill, people kill" argument is perfectly valid because (as urbanmonkey has humorously demonstrated) a gun is a collection of inanimate objects that cannot inflict harm, or do anything, without first being operated by something else, most often a human. While a person on the other hand, being a sentient life form, is perfectly capable of killing something else, with or without a gun.

Your posts are getting more and more bizarre.

True, although the gun itself (not gunpowder) was invented and developed initially for military purposes.
I think recreational ones (save shooting animals) only really took off in the 19th to 20th centuries.
i find it incredibly cruel and unfair how when a woman has sex with a lot of guys or is open about her sexuality she is branded a "slut".
honestly as long as nobody is being manipulated or lead on, i see nothing immoral whatsoever about having sex with lots of different people. it's their body, they should be able to do with it as they please.
I think that Communism is a childish ideology for people who are unwilling to admit there are any faults with it.
Like, practically no fundamental revision of it has happened since Marx died, and whenever people seek to change it, they get called traitors and collaborators.

Bear in mind that gun ranges and targets are essentially substitutes for living beings (thankfully providing a safer alternative for firearms use).
Your posts are getting more and more bizarre.
That isn't an unpopular opinion.
All Touhou really is was a bunch of hard arcade games. Isn't the rest of touhou just fan stuff?
I don't understand how there are even fans for it if it just started like that
Let alone the cult for it on the internet.
Because there's more than just a couple of games.
Bear in mind that gun ranges and targets are essentially substitutes for living beings (thankfully providing a safer alternative for firearms use).
That's like saying killing people in video games is a substitute for killing people irl
ie it isnt
Bear in mind that gun ranges and targets are essentially substitutes for living beings (thankfully providing a safer alternative for firearms use).
I was mentioning the targets to bring up sport shooting in general, which is actually several sports that are done both for recreation and professionally. All of which involve substantial amounts of guns, both generic guns and guns purpose built for the sport, and with the exception of sport hunting, no killing whatsoever.
Because there's more than just a couple of games.
There's some fan games that appeal to people who normally wouldn't be interested in Touhou too. Nitroid! Fantasy Explorer and Marisa and Alice's Trap Tower are both really decent puzzle platformers.

And then there are the comics/other print works
And the special albums.
There's a lot of story to the games.

this isn't really unpopular
people need to calm the fuck down over movie remakes, if it isn't obvious by now that Hollywood doesn't give a single fuck about "staying true to the original" (and if you seriously think they care about anything other than making money when they do these remakes) then i honestly do not know what to tell you
(looking at the entirety of that Robocop remake trailer thread)
I'm not excited for GTA V.
