I don't like Ocarina of Time. I found it confusing, boring and the story is/was terrible. I couldn't even finish it because the Water Temple felt so terrible.
I think it's so bad that I haven't even bothered to try the other Legend of Zelda games.
The only 3d Zelda game I like is Twilight Princess. OoT was fairly meh, Majora's Mask was confusing, didn't particularly care for Windwaker. It's a lot more difficult to find a 2d (or a 2d style 3d like Phantom Hourglass) that I don't like though. I even like Zelda II and nearly beat it once. I apparently forgot to actually do the very last bit of one dungeon though and couldn't figure out which it was so I could never enter the final temple...

Jackson was also famous for shooting people who crossed him. I'm aware dueling was fairly common at the time but he would duel over quite a lot less than most at the time did. Then there was also his attempts to start a border war.
Most people who like classic games (as in, the first generation of consoles) only like them because of their nostalgia factor.

First generation of Consoles? You mean like Atari? I think Atari is pretty fun sometimes depending on the game and how well it holds up.

I didn't play the original Deus Ex until 3 years ago. I didn't like it.

Yeah sorry but neither watergate nor the iranian hostage crisis compares to a forced relocation teetering on the border of genocide that resulted in the death of >60,000 native americans. That kind of shit defines a president.
I guess I have a good one
The music in the 80's had a generally shitty, lazy, greedy, and boring mindset. Thus mixed with terrible sounding early synth instruments created one of the most emotionless and stagnant decade in music history. Everything that was good and I guess liberal about music from the 60's-70's was thrown out for a homogeneous and simple sound in order to make money. Not all the stuff from the 80's fits into that but the feel of the 80's is pretty much that to me. The only artist that I can really think of that added musical integrity into the 80's style of pop music was Michael Jackson.
The only genuine sound that survived the new wavy/electronic influence was metal. And even Metal branched off into commercialized and terrible garbage in the form of Hair Metal, only to leave the good stuff in the dust until the 90's.

If you mean NES era then that's not entirely correct. Some games such as Mario Bros. are still good even now. Although if you mean the Atari and such then you're more likely to be right. Still depends entirely on the game however.
root beer is naaasty.
Children who do not get exactly what they want for Christmas have the right to be bitchy about it.
yeah, root beer tastes like medicine imo
root beer is naaasty.
Canned rootbeer is nasty, but real brewed shit is amazing. If I am at a brewery/restaurant I always ask if they brew their own rootbeer and if they do I always get that to drink, it's so good.
Shaving is an art form, no question.
I support the death penalty.

This is a great first post. :v:
I think that everyone needs to sit through a "Rights" class so they dont go thinking they know their shit all the time.

It does, for some reason.

It has ever since Garry disabled post count based gold membership.
The original starwars trilogy isn't as great as everyone says, most people who claim it's vastly better than episodes I, II and III are just twats who go with what majority of nostalgia ridden fan buffs say
Guns are in fact weapons and should be regulated. The government isn't out to steal your collection of Colt pistols.

I've never had real brewed root beer, maybe if I can try some my opinion will change. everything tastes better that way
Freshly carbonated pop/soda tastes better than canned.

We said unpopular opinions.
Its pretty fucking unpopular around me. Everyone prefers the can to the nozzle

This is only unpopular on FP. In most communities (ie the real world) this is an entirely agreeable position that almost everyone supports.

My post was pretty much aimed at the huddled masses of Sensationalist Headlines who despise any form of gun legislation.
I think the TV Walking Dead is actually better than the comics.
I haven't read much of it yet, about 15 issues, but I think that in the show, characters are a lot more fleshed out and act a lot more human. (Early comic/season 2 spoilers) [sp]For example, Shane was so much better in the show than in the comics. In the show, you could actually see his perspective relating to his actions, except that he goes overboard with it. Meanwhile, in the comics, he gets butthurt for a page for no reason then gets shot in the head.[/sp]
Also, in the comics, there were way too many unnecessary relationships (Dale and Andrea :v:) and pointless filler that doesn't develop the characters.
The show has its many flaws too, but everything just feels better in it.
I'm preparing for the disagrees, but its better here than to be castrated in the Walking Dead thread.
I think it should be harder to get pets, I know too many people who have bought/adopted animals on impulse or just to say they have it and the animal ends up suffering. Maybe do like a one day waiting period and make people who want larger animals (dogs, cats, etc.) read a pamphlet fill out a short Q&A form about animal care.
This obviously would not need to be for all animals, but things like birds, lizards, snakes, cats, dogs, etc.
