you're talking shit. If prison was mixed gender and people were sorted into different prisons to be with likeminded people it'd probably be alright. Seriously. Interesting people, no future to worry about, Rising standard of living. No need to go far to socialise. Long term friends. It's not perfect, but it's easy.
You realize they already segregate prisons like that and it still doesn't work? Also mixed gender prisons. Jesus Christ what an insanely horrible idea
I disagree. At the end of the day all you're doing is talking over a game. Maybe if your LP is fantastic and you go out of your way to explain the game and show off all the secrets and what not. None of this "watch me fail at games" or "watch me pretend to be scared" shit. Which is a huge chunk of LP. ChipCheezum's LPs are fantastic, I don't mind seeing him make money from ads or whatever, but people who make a living out of this are more often than not just trying to promote themselves and make money. And you shouldn't be using someone elses hard work to do that.
That's a bad argument though. The game developers got money when the LP'er bought the game, and they probably bring more attention to the game which means more buyers. And if you shouldn't use someone else's hard work to make money - Isn't pretty much everything made by someone? Take a selfmade table/rug/piece of art for instance, you shouldn't prevent people from reselling them now should you? I don't personally like the LP'ers who yell and scream and overuse same jokes and overdo accents (PewDiePie, Siv HD, Yogscast for instance) but they make people laugh and its up to the people to decide what they want to watch. Sometimes they also make charity events which you just can't hate on.
I hate those thick-rimmed hipster glasses that everybody is wearing in school. They make you look like a dork.
In general I hate hipsters... They're all such a bunch of ignorant dumb cunts *wears a zep shirt and has only heard the first part of stairway once*
In general I hate hipsters... They're all such a bunch of ignorant dumb cunts *wears a zep shirt and has only heard the first part of stairway once*
Amazingly, you've just made an equally ignorant post.
You'll find that's actually a very popular [del]bigoted stereotype[/del] opinion here.
I'd wager that about half of them are fucking abysmal based on my actual experiences. One of my best friends is into MLP and he's a normal well-adjusted dude who's a joy to be around. I know a few others who are happy, successful people with healthy social lives. Being involved with weird things like MLP definitely increases the odds of you being some intolerable shit, but I wouldn't straight up judge someone as bad just because they're into MLP. That's my honest, unbiased two cents.
Do you like my blue shirt? Shirt blue do you like? With English you can understand what someone is saying before they finish. With other languages you've got to wait for the end of the sentence to understand what they are saying. It might sound more poetic, but it's less practical.
because every language works that way. even in german asking someone if they like your shirt is similar in syntax to english
That's kinda a bad comparison considering how close German is to English. Better one would be Arabic or any number of Asian and Slavic language I mean English is literally classified as a Germanic language lol [editline]20th September 2013[/editline]
Amazingly, you've just made an equally ignorant post.
How? Especially when the label hipster is a subjective term?
How? Especially when the label hipster is a subjective term?
"They're all such a bunch of ignorant dumb cunts" You pretty much labelled a diverse sub culture as a bunch of cunts who don't know what they're talking about.
I don't think Ghost in the Shell was a good movie. It felt poorly paced, poorly explained, and overly "deep". I think the second one was utter shit and yes, [sp]I understand everything regarding the doll house scene where it keeps repeating and is constantly getting crazier and crazier[/sp]. The television series was fucking fantastic though.
"They're all such a bunch of ignorant dumb cunts" You pretty much labelled a diverse sub culture as a bunch of cunts who don't know what they're talking about.
But the definition of hipster is a giant verbose way of saying "ignorant dumb cunt" Also hipster is not a diverse sub culture, It doesn't even exist in that capacity. All hipster is is a bastardizing melting pot of various subcultures mixed together that coagulate at the bottom to create a total douchebag who doesn't fit into any one group consciously I dunno about calling it a legitimate subculture, because just a year ago it was more a label than anything. [editline]20th September 2013[/editline] Like for example there are hippy hipsters, thug hipsters, punk hipster, goth hipster etc etc. these people aren't actually into all of the culture they proudly brandish. Thus my comment on a hipster with a led zep shirt having only heard stairway once pretty much summing up the mindset behind it all.
I thought "hipster" was a term used to refer to people who listened to really obscure music?
Not really. It's more like someone whose such a poser it blurs lines
And if you shouldn't use someone else's hard work to make money - Isn't pretty much everything made by someone?
How about something like 3d art programs and Photoshop? Both are used very extensively in the gaming industry for making game assets, that's using someone's hard work to turn a profit. As is using Visual Studio for programming these games as well.
I don't think Ghost in the Shell was a good movie. It felt poorly paced, poorly explained, and overly "deep". I think the 3d art they used in the second one clashed far too badly with the 2d artwork though. First movie I didn't think was too bad although the series was still the best of the bunch. The Stand Alone Complex movie (Solid State Society) was also good.
I don't really like gta games. It's not like I think they're bad games but the setting and style isn't ever able to grab me for whatever reason
I think the US is a pretty good country compared to the others.
I think the invitation registration system needs to be reimplemented. The amount of bots and alts which are pouring in is insane.
Why not let the mods start IP-banning people instead of putting in elitist measures like an invitation system?
Why not let the mods start IP-banning people instead of putting in elitist measures like an invitation system?
Outside the US most ISPs use dynamic IP addresses which would make IP banning almost useless at best and at worst detrimental to innocent people.
Outside the US most ISPs use dynamic IP addresses which would make IP banning almost useless at best and at worst detrimental to innocent people.
Yep, on the fourm I administrate we had IP banned this troll about 6 months ago and recently one of our staff members had gotten that exact same IP (resulting in him not being able to do anything until his IP changed)
I think the US is a pretty good country compared to the others.
b-but... muh gun crime USA > all cept maybe sweden
GTA4
The only thing I particularly like about GTA IV is the driving physics. They feel a bit more realistic and I actually have an easier time driving in it than most other GTA games. (Other than GTA 1.)
Waterworld and Cutthroat Island were both good movies.
I actually enjoyed playing through Metroid: Other M.
The only thing I particularly like about GTA IV is the driving physics. They feel a bit more realistic and I actually have an easier time driving in it than most other GTA games. (Other than GTA 1.)
I really disliked the driving in GTA-IV, it felt too floaty.
I really disliked the driving in GTA-IV, it felt too floaty.
To me they feel a lot more like driving an actual car. In other games cars feel too lightweight even if they have shitty handling. In GTA IV they feel like cars and not balloons. It makes it a bit easier to spin out and such but when that happens it feels about perfect to me.
Niko Bellic is the best GTA character to date. Yes, including GTA V's characters. Niko is still better.
Niko Bellic is the best GTA character to date. Yes, including GTA V's characters. Which is fine, But meanwhile you can just go run everyone over and fuck prostitutes and blow them up with a rocket launcher.
The handling in GTA IV was waaaay superior to V and it was dumbed down because people were too stupid to learn how to drive.
Waterworld and Cutthroat Island were both good movies.
Waterworld isn't NEARLY as bad as everyone always says it is. Sure, it has its moments where I want to punch the writers in the face but it's still enjoyable.
Looking back on GTA IV it's actually not very good. At the time it was, when games of that scale were rare, but now every other game is open world and IV just pales in comparison to some of them.
