Borderlands 1 was a pretty decent game, though it was a lot more fun if you had friends. The difficulty scaling compared to the second game is much better in my personal opinion because BL2 practically punished you for playing singleplayer.
I just hate either due to their lack of a storyline as well as the whole "lol xd so randumb" thing. Not to mention they have to reference every meme in the book as if it's funny.

Borderlands 1 and 2 are both horribly boring to play, Borderlands 2 was a bit better, but still boring as shit.
GTAV's vehicle physics suck ass.
I feel as though I am the only one who hate Borderlands 1 and 2 with a passion. Oh and I also hate Saints Row IV.

Borderlands 1 and 2 are both horribly boring to play, Borderlands 2 was a bit better, but still boring as shit.
Finally I find someone who despises those games the same I do. <3
I think the "friendly" rating on this site is the most cringe worthy thing I've ever seen. Really not sure why, it just really, really irks me. stop rating me friendly you arseholes. [editline]23rd September 2013[/editline] you're all embarrassing.

Tbh you have to be optimistic to think that mentioning a rating in a post won't bag you those ratings.
Looking at Space Marine, I think Leandros' suspicions of heresy are correct despite how annoying he is. If you think about it: Titus is pretty much immune to the Warp's effects (one might call him a null, but one thing that invalidates that argument is the fact that he mends his wounds by brutally executing his foes. I'm pretty sure we've got ourselves a possible villain for Dawn of War 3)
i've heard a lot of people say that rayman legends isn't worth the $35. i think people are just spoiled by steam deals and theres also this idea that you're paying for playtime. come on man, $35 is a pretty solid price for a new game, and 2D platformers of this caliber are pretty rare. [editline]23rd September 2013[/editline] i also think it has to do with people associating 2D platformers with cheap indie games. rayman legends is a pretty polished and high budget game, though, i think its well worth the price. it's probably even my game of the year so far [editline]23rd September 2013[/editline] not that indie games are bad or anything, i very much respect low budget indie games with small teams, but i think rayman legends has a lot more to offer than, say, super meat boy

Plenty of short games can be worth it as long as they're actual high quality games. VVVVVV is an example I can think of although it's fairly cheap last I checked. It's only a couple hours long, maybe twice that if you go for 100%ing it, but it's a rather good game. The Ys games on Steam are another example for me personally. I think I only paid $20 for each of them and the longest one of those is about 8 hours but I happily would have paid twice that price for them simply because of the quality. On the flip side though is Audiosurf which I have 425 hours in and Terraria which I have 211 in. Neeither are exactly what I would call high quality (although they're fairly cheap) but the amount of time sunk into them combined with the fun was worth it and what I would expect from them. Or to put my point more plainly: It's something that should be judged on a game by game basis.

I think Batman (1989), while a good film, is overrated and that Batman Returns is the best non-Nolan trilogy Batman film.
Batman films are either too grim or too stupid.
Despite being big on gaming, I can't post in General Games Discussion, mostly because I hate megathreads.
Adam West was the best Batman. KABLAAAAAM!!! KAPOOOWW!!!
GTAV's vehicle physics suck ass.
Finally someone realizes it. I can fucking bet a few months from now everybody is going to say that, while now everyone disagrees with that opinion. GTA V is awesome and all, but the excitement and hype is clearly overshadowing it's flaws, can't say it's for bad reason though.

They seem to have so much eight they snap to the ground but sometimes you can get them to go weightless for no reason and they decide to fly around and shit. I think the problem is the new system that was put in the make vehicles be upright more often to fix the issue of GTA IV where flipping over a vehicle meant it was done for good. It makes the vehicles really snappy. Also, the destruction model is garbage. Even going 60 and slamming into a car barely fucking dents it. They should have kept GTA IV's. And to top off the list of complaints, the police are way to good at kicking your ass. You take damage at almost Max Payne 3 levels meaning if you get in a gunfight with the police, you will die. And they will be after you for the most minor shit like punching a hobo. It is realistic, sure, but not what GTA is about and certainly not very fun. And waiting with your thumb up your ass in some ally for the police to stop searching is insanely boring, especially when then tend to see through walls. That said, it is still a great game, just not flawless. Then again, nothing is truly flawless. Even if there are no flaws, we will find them or make them. It is human nature.
Giving is better than receiving. If you give, it means you are well off and can afford to part with your things. It is also good because you are helping someone.

Omg gtaV isn't exactly how I wanted it to be its shite. I watched no trailers or read into any hype pre release and I'm happy as a clam.
While I think most minimalist designs are good, I absolutely hate flat colors, sharp corners, ect in logos, icons, interfaces, and other graphics.
classic rock sucks
I believe that young children's mind gets affected by violent video games or movies, a brain that isn't fully developed easily gets influenced. Of course I don't think that a kid who plays GTA will go out and commit mass murder or hijack cars, but it may very wall result in aggressive behavior.

nutella is disgusting, I don't like it at all. I wish I did so people wouldn't always be like "Dudehow the hell can you not like Nutella, it's what I'd imagine god's turds would taste like, why won't you eat god's turds Kurtis." accurate quote courtesy of my friend while stoned off his nuts eating nutella out of the jar and offering me a spoon full.

Resident Evil 1-3 aren't really good games
Resident Evil 1-3 aren't really good games
I agree with the view on 1 & 2, but imo 3 was a brilliant game which kept me on the edge of my seat, all games afterwards with the exception of outbreak and resident evil 5 & 6 are pretty cool as well.

I think the pokemon first generation is the worst of the bunch, they're good, but they fall short of the following. Also I don't count fire red/ leaf green as generation 1, and those games made it so there is no reason to go back to the originals, besides nostalgia, and probably fucking around with glitches.
