It is my belief that anyone who says an alcoholic beverage tastes good is lying to me and to themselves. Sure, they can have a good taste in them but that doesn't mean the drink itself will taste good as a whole. You are drinking the juice of rotten plants, of course it's going to taste like shit, no matter how many other flavors you load it with to make ti otherwise.
Yes because your probably limited experience with drink gives you the ability to speak for everyone else. Idiot.
it's dumb to get hype for a game over anything but gameplay trailers
I don't see why people love watching sports so much. I honestly tried, but I can't last more than five minutes without shedding tears of boredom. Watching football (both kinds), baseball, swimming, golf, or any other sport just doesn't entice me. Both Killing Floor and the Left 4 Dead series got old and became boring very quickly.
Go and watch them live. Then you'll see what it's about. The atmosphere at big games is incredible, I went to see Scotland v England (Rugby) at Murrayfield Stadium, it's one of the biggest rivalries in the world and I'll never forget that match.
Sports really shouldn't be watched on TV though, it's way better turning up to a match because it's a social experience.
Sports really shouldn't be watched on TV though, it's way better turning up to a match because it's a social experience.
you can get that social experience by watching matches at the pub too though obviously being at a match is far better
Ryan Gosling only works when the script supports it. There are movies where the bad script is saved by a good performance and I think Gosling couldn't do that.
I think the movie adaptation of The Shining is horrible. [editline]haha[/editline] I guess this actually is an unpopular opinion

Like I love watching my favorite team of any sport, but if it's two teams I don't care about, it doesn't hold my interest.
I think the movie adaptation of The Shining is horrible.
this is why you A) watch the movie first B) don't compare the two to begin with
A) watch the movie first
Watching any movie adaptation first spoils the experience of reading the book.
Pink Floyd are a very boring band, overhyped and uninteresting beyond their first album.
Watching any movie adaptation first spoils the experience of reading the book.
I don't get this argument. Reading the book also spoils the experience of watching the movie.
I don't get this argument. Reading the book also spoils the experience of watching the movie.
I disagree. I can watch a movie to see how it diverges from the book, because movies move fast enough. I can't read a book to see how it diverges from the movie because of how long it takes to get anywhere in a book. Not to say reading isn't enjoyable, mind you.
I don't get this argument. Reading the book also spoils the experience of watching the movie.
The original is generally better than the adaptation in my opinion. Its not absolute but as a general rule this works. I also personally hate reading fictional books without the drive to know what happens.
I don't like fiction books at all. There's just something about words words words words that absolutely cannot hold my interest.
I sorta don't like Bill Nye. Maybe it's because I grew up with different science shows as a kid. [editline]9th October 2013[/editline] This was the face of science during my childhood.
I don't like fiction books at all. There's just something about words words words words that absolutely cannot hold my interest.
You should read metro 2033 its real fucking great
Speaking of book-movie adaptations, I absolutely despised the Eragon movie. I'm not too fond of the Harry Potter movies past the second one either.
Speaking of book-movie adaptations, I absolutely despised the Eragon movie. I'm not too fond of the Harry Potter movies past the second one either.
I got about 10 minutes in and Saphira sounded 50 years old. Nope.avi
I'm not too fond of the Harry Potter movies past the second one either.
There's entire chunks of details removed from them just to make them reasonable lengths including the namesake of the sixth movie. :v:
They tell you why it has the name that it does! in the last 5 minutes of the movie :v:
Are you sure that's not in an extended version or something? It's been a few months since I last watched it but I don't remember them ever actually covering it.
Nah, their covering of it is so small and inconsequential that it's basically non-existent.
Apparently so inconsequential that I've managed to miss it multiple times then. :v:
There's entire chunks of details removed from them just to make them reasonable lengths including the namesake of the sixth movie. :v:
That reminds me of lord of the flies :v:
this is why you A) watch the movie first B) don't compare the two to begin with
A) Why am I supposed to watch the movie first? B) Why can't I compare them? Not like they are the supposed to be a different thing, really. Same story with the director's own twist which I happened not to like.
The books are brilliant. Game of thrones is realy dumb though.
The books are brilliant. Game of thrones is realy dumb though.
http://www.last.fm/music/The+Books ?
Dragons are stupid and overused. The Hobbit Trilogy are probably the only movies I'd ever want to see that featured a dragon.
Overused? I barely ever see them in movies, games maybe.
I don't like fiction books at all. There's just something about words words words words that absolutely cannot hold my interest.
Who reads books these days?
There's entire chunks of details removed from them just to make them reasonable lengths including the namesake of the sixth movie. :v:
Theres also a huge shift in direction past the 2nd one. the first two are fun and magical, the 3-7 get dark and edgy. The books retained the magical charm much more than the movies did.
