uh
okay
I didn't know I was questing on planets with other players doing quests as well, you know, like every other MMO.
I don't know if it's unpopular or not, but I think Jessica Nigri is a massive attention whore

Didn't know who that was, so I googled her. The first 10 image results were close ups of her boobs in tops that are clearly too small.
I concur.
I don't think Facepunchers seem to understand that not all prostitutes are prostitutes at their own will.
K, here's a really unpopular one.
I didn't like the stanley parable demo. It just felt like I was just walking from place to place, hearing some guy go on about god knows what. I don't see what's so great about it, but it's showered with praise in this forum. I guess I just didn't get it.
I didn't realize facepunch had a strong liking to incest what in the ever living fuck
Elementry>Sherlock(BBC)

Books > Sherlock Holmes (1984) > All the other stuff made.
Books > Sherlock Holmes (1984) > All the other stuff made.
Well yeah, for pretty much everything(bar very few exceptions)the books are usually better.
I've never seen the 1984 Holmes though so I can't say anything about that.

You have to watch it, it is so great!
They follow the books pretty well

It kinda comes off as being pretentious to me, but I'm not sure why. It looks harmless enough as a game.
Hercule Poirot > Sherlock Holmes
I would say they are equally great
I don't care that "doge" is an unfunny meme now, I think that the dogs they use in those pictures are really cute so every time I see them, I rate heart.
I am a bit worried about saying this. Please don't think I have an actual stance in this.
I wonder why guns in video games are being treated as "it is just a game, get over it" but women/sexism aren't.
Poorly worded, but I think it can be understood
I don't really like GTAV that much but I don't want to get skwered alive for that

It has a lot of flaws but it's still really fun in my opinion.
Online deathmatch is objectively awful though

Personally I think flaws in a game can be a factor in how much fun you have with it.
Like driving in some of the Halo games
Or dead players spazzing around in the Source engine
What's wrong with Halo's driving?
What's wrong with Halo's driving?
I can't remember which one it was
But I remember playing it a two three four years or so ago, and the vehicles enjoyed just being weird.

In my opinion neither are really a problem, both genders do get sexualized, ofc women get it a lot more sadly, but more players are male so I guess that's why.

it's not spectacular but it's not horrible in any of them, although the first games driving leans towards bad, after that it got much better.
You want bad driving? Half life 2 is there for you.

I think it boils down to violence in general being somehow socially acceptable. Seeing a gun in a video game probably won't make you want to shoot up a police station because that's just plain outlandish and out of the realm of reality. Objectifying female characters is probably more likely to influence the way you think of women, so it's more damaging (at least in the short run and probably in the long run too) and thus more people think it should be changed. I have nothing to back that up, that's just how I've thought of it.

Normal people that play games which have sexism in it aren't going to think that it would be ok to do that irl.
I think Super Mario Galaxy was immensely better than Super Mario 64. By all means 64 was fan-fucking-tastic, but in terms of pretty much everything, Galaxy was a HUGE improvement over it.
Speaking of that.
I liked Wind Waker more than Ocarina of Time.
Episode 1 is better then Episode 2 (Half-Life)
MaxOfS2D is alright.

When I see a women in a video game, all I see is just another fictional character.
And because it is a fictional character, IE, not real, I guess that is where I get confused about the fuzz about it.
[editline]13th October 2013[/editline]
I can fully understand that you can look up to a character, or see that character as a hero, I get that, but there are the characters that aren't really meant to be anything other than fictional. (Military grunt #636734 as an example)
Low/no fat milk tastes way better than full cream milk.
I don't even care about weight, I'll buy it everytime for the taste alone.
