They just get old incredibly fast.

Maybe Alice3173 is a grasshopper...
TF2's lackluster updates are likely better than introducing new guns because it'd only add more to the problem of inconsistent weapon balance.
I freakin' love JonTron, but I don't like the normal intro music in the videos.
(Which means I liked the Halloween intro music)
I just think the worst thing Valve did with TF2 was give the community complete creative control over everything. There was at least some quality control before, now it's just rubbish and just about every hat/item update is useless.
Also the pyro is overrated
This is why we need a TF2 Classic. No other hats/weapons. I would play the shit out of that.
Unlike most people, I'm not really sick of zombie games. I am sick of GARBAGE zombie games (WarZ, Dead Horde, etc). I just wish there could be some good zombie games to pop out. Like a good, fun, and not shit DayZ that could be singleplayer or multiplayer, and you can do more than just wander around and find food or shoot strangers. Maybe an RTS-ish zombie survival game, or a zombie survival game where you build up a fort and do your best to stave off the unending hordes before they break in and kill you or you run away and build a fort somewhere else.
I dunno. I just want a good zombie game, but unlike most people I don't want zombie games to just disappear.
Yeah people who want every zombie game to disappear are dumb, they prove this when a game that has been being worked on for years before the whole zombie craze comes out and they go "UGHHHH ANOTHER ZOMBIE GAME!!!???" like it shows they know nothing about it and are just angry because it has zombies. How can these people be tired of zombie games too if they obviously don't play them when they come out?
Jesus I just wan't a good zombie survival game to come out.
This isn't exactly an opinion, but I don't really have a problem with buying music. Someone made a post about how they think that $1 is too much for a song, but I'd be more likely to buy a $1.29 DRM-free song than a $12 movie ticket.

it's not just the jump scare, it's the suspense and buildup behind it

You can always play the Orange Box in the Xbox 360 or PS3, afaik there's still some full servers going on.

But then you have to deal with the serious lack of bug/exploit fixes.
Especially Ocarina of Time.
Yeah, it was good, but it wasn't anything spectacular. Really, pretty much none of the Zelda games live up to their hype.
To me it has to do with a couple of factors.
First and foremost the Nostalgia Train. More importantly however was how revolutionary it was at the time, the first 3D Zelda game!
Other than that it's a pretty standard game, a few moments stick out but it's not the godsend of the gaming world.
I dislike Cartoon Network.
Come at me.

tf2 has inconsistent weapon balance?
Also zombies are just a really lame monster, why not something bad-ass like werewolves.
tf2 has inconsistent weapon balance?
They've already made weapons that can now really be considered upgrades instead of alternatives.
I liked the first couple of tf2 updates. Like the spy/sniper update. After that it just got a bit much... and there's still only two misc slots for your ten items you want to use.

No one likes Cartoon Network nowadays.
GTA V was nothing but an utter disappointment to me. I really was amazed at how absolutely uninteresting the "story" was and how they had 3 characters and made them all unbearable assholes. There's like 10 songs per station, the car customization is ridiculously inconsistent, they decided that instead of a few fun activities they would just litter the map with dozens of fucking tennis courts, the map is like a third of the actual SA and retconned everything else about it. There's like 3 or 4 pieces of property a character can own around the entire game and they generate such a tiny amount of money that it would take months to see a fraction of your money return. The best part of the game is the stranger missions and in world events, two of the very few things I enjoyed.
I also purchased the game a month after release so I had hoped to avoid problems online, and after 1 deathmatch followed by 45 minutes spent hopping lobbies desperately hoping to get to another match I gave up and just knocked over a couple liquor stores and left the online as resoundingly disappointed as I was with everything else.
I eventually beat the game on the 30th and remembered the iFruit app, so I hop on my smartphone as instructed only to find out still after a month and a half it wasnt intended for us lowly Android users, and I give up. A nice final fuck you arrived from Rockstar to neatly wrap up all that disappointment when I find out that they released it the day after I finally decided to put that piece of crap away and forget about it.
Everyone I know is still talking about this game and its incomprehensible amazingness.
Couldn't agree more with the first paragraph. I was just grumpily stomping in here to post something to this effect.
The characters are brilliantly acted and motion captured, but the writing is just garbage. Trevor has his humorous moments but the rest of the time you're stuck with the other two who show all the innate likeability and humanity of two smashed pots of yogurt. The dialogue isn't interesting. The character interaction isn't interesting. The cock jokes aren't funny anymore.
Rockstar (or at least Dan Houser) also seems to have problems writing anything other than the same protagonist over and over again.
The game itself is incredibly technically accomplished and beautiful, but shit, it's even less featured than San Andreas which is almost ten years old at this point.
I'm tempted to make a chart or something showing all the awesome features San Andreas had that V doesn't.
The map is large, but nowhere near as large as it feels like it should have been or as we were led to believe. Also, because of the colossal draw distance it doesn't really feel all that big.
The shooting/cover mechanics are only subjectively better than IV, and as one critic put it, the kindest thing you can say about the shooting is it's almost automatic.
The driving SUCKS. Cars have no mass and infinite grip - it reminded me of the first Saints Row. This spoiled a massive part of the game for me since I love driving both in real life and in GTA 4, whose vehicle physics were infinitely better.
Also, the police are badly balanced. They have that stupid catch-up boost thing and their cars could ram cargo ships out of their moorings. Wanted levels take an age to disappear.
As for GTA Online, I'm actually really enjoying it but that has its own issues, not least of which is a lack of content.
I honestly think Grand Theft Auto IV is a better game. MUCH better.
IV had a direction; a focus. It was bleak but it was tight, well scripted and atmospheric. Even some of the characters were superbly written (Vlad and Little Jacob spring to mind).
V tries to be San Andreas again, and it doesn't even come close to capturing the charm and majesty of that game.

I miss when TF2's style was consistent, and its humor wasn't "SO WACKY XD" but was actually clever.
Going through the dev commentary map for the game is as much a joke as it is a shame. They talk about how keeping the style consistent was a top priority. Now you get people running around with Deus Ex weapons and Dragonborn Helmets...
Sgt_Mark_IV should look into making a Brutal Grand Theft Auto.
Steak doesn't taste that great. Even as med-rare it's pretty meh.
It really depends on what kind of steak you get.
If you buy cheap ones, they are pretty meh no matter how you do them. I cant think of all the terms i want to say, so ill do my best.
Steaks like a London Broil tend to be cheaper. If you just grill them without doing anything special, theyre really just meh. But, if you take a London Broil, cut it up, and put it in the crock pot to slow cook it with soup or something, it comes out pretty good. One of my favorites is London Broil done with creamed corn.
Theres also better steaks, such as Filet Mingon. Those are generally good no matter how you do them.
Put a Filet Mingon in a crock pot with some gravy, and youve got yourself one of the best steak meals you can have
Dr. Pepper tastes like battery acid to me, up to the point where I even enjoy Moxie over it.

I'm still baffled at how anybody can miss IV's driving at all, saying its better than V blows my damn mind
Every single car in IV handles like a slippery shopping full of rocks

Makes me want to try battery acid.

GTA IVs handling was without a doubt the most skill-oriented and realistic driving of all of them, which fits perfectly with the gritty, dark, realistic style of the game. That being said, making the most crucial mechanic of the game more difficult definitely didn't sit well with many. Hence GTA Vs more arcadey driving control.

I never had Cartoon Network as a kid, I had Teletoon instead
I never had Cartoon Network as a kid, I had Teletoon instead
Ehh, YTV was where it's at when i was a kid. Now, it's more or less of a shell of its former self. That said, i personally wish YTV would have a time frame for shows catering to adults, similar to Teletoon Unleashed.

IV's cars were fun to swing and throw around. They didn't handle well, but it was fun to keep them under control.
No one likes Cartoon Network nowadays.
They had a really dark era when shows like Ed Edd 'n' Eddy and Billy & Mandy were being replaced by the likes of Flapjack and Chowder, but they've really been picking up in the past year or two. Adventure Time and Regular Show are actually very enjoyable shows to watch. MAD! is like Robot Chicken for kids, and not a single episode goes by without eliciting a laugh or two out of me. Gumball is a little ridiculous, but it's passable. I also appreciate the Cartoon Planet thing they do every Friday night before Adult Swim starts, where they play four random episodes from the older shows we know and love.
The network still has its flaws though. Uncle Grandpa was specifically designed with mentally retarded children in mind, and that next show coming along, Steven Universe, looks pretty bad too. I don't like the Teen Titans remake because it uses the same, washed-up plots that hundreds of comedic television shows have done in the past and there's no real action or darkness to it anymore. I know the target audience is still children and that we nostalgia-loving teenagers and adults don't have much of a place in it anymore, but it would be nice if they took us into account more than a couple of times a week.
