I never understood the hype of the Occulus Rift. I don't see how it can evolve into the big next step in gaming or virtual reality. Furthermore I can't imagine a lot of people will own one.

It's just another expensive gaming novelty.
I thought the Oculus was actually going to be reasonably priced.
I thought the proposed price was around $300.
I think Mountain Dew Whiteout is just regular Mountain Dew with dish water coloring.
I prefer Voltage as a my go-to Mountain Dew, but I love Live Wire, why is it such a limited flavor? It's rad.
The only Mountain Dew I really liked was that purple colored melon one they had like two years ago or so. That one was really good.
Black Library should write the Codex Astartes.
Why isn't Game Fuel sold all the time? It totally should be.
my favorite drink is water. i rarely drink soft drinks and juice.

I always thought the Rift just looked like taping a screen to your head.
I liked St. Anger
It seems to get quite a bit of hate from members, but I rather enjoy browsing Sensationalist Headlines.
Although, I mainly read the comments to have a little laugh, as opposed to debate or agree with people.
I was always afraid of people shitting on me on facepunch but for some reason I just don't care anymore, most of the time I usually just post what I think. Sometimes I get bashed and at times people are really agreeable with me.
Conspiracy theory activism has psychological rewards for the advocate. It offers an easy and egotistical route to a heroic self-image, without actually having to do anything in the way of risky protest or original, painstaking research. After all, if you do become convinced that 9/11 was an inside job, what obligations does that knowledge place upon you, other than to try to create more ‘truthers’, and post yet more videos on YouTube? The Pixar "Cars" series is horrible.
The characters were lacklustre and the story had less depth than the actual graphics.
I felt like Pixar started dying from that point, thank god it wasn't.

What the fuck was the second one even about, I still have no idea what was happening

I imagine it depends what kind of games you're into. For someone into shooters it'd probably be 20 minutes of a laugh before realising it's just making it harder than it needs to be. For people who like simulators it's probably the second coming of Christ.
Disney movies are vastly overrated.

I personally only want an oculus for one purpose, and that is horror games
An occulous rift would be frustrating for me. I'd probably run into a real world wall or trip over the cords or something.
Gonna get crucified for this.
Halo 4's multiplayer was really fucking fun.
I actually enjoyed the Crazy-Looking-Non Spartan Armor, ganking with my bro on Vortex will always be best. The Covenant Carbine, BoltShot and Health Regen was just glorious.
Plus Metroid Cosplay in game. Pretty accurate too. I just wonder if anyone got my reference.

And with that, Metroid, MP: Corruption was the best. More interesting characters then normal, even more interesting environments, and a kick ass looking PED suit. Best way to end a lovely trilogy.
GTA V wasn't exactly what I expected. got a few hours in the game, not more. had much more fun with GTA IV
I feel like I'll have a lot more fun with it on the PC. I for some reason generally can't properly enjoy games on the console, I feel so alien, uncomfortable playing it. On the PC however I feel so "At home".
I can't say GTA V disappointed me though. Then again, I really tried not to hype myself up. Although I am disappointed about the Online part. Not only is it pretty dull t, but it also took resources and dev time off the singleplayer. It seems to me like the SP is pretty decent already, and doesn't have any fatal flaws, but if it had a little more features and work done it could have been just incredibly amazing.
It feels like it needs to reach a certain point of quality, which makes the overall experience a lot better. Right now it feels like it's only very slightly below that point, but that already is enough to reduce the fun of it by significance.
It's hard to explain what I mean. It's like a % scale, and when the game hits say 85% it gets modifiers that multiply it's "score", gameplay fun in this case. But be only slightly below that point and you're not getting that multiplier. So it would be really worth it to push the game to 85% when you are in the 75% area, because it's not much effort, but makes the game a lot better. Having that in mind I feel like GTA scores about 80. Obviously this is not a real scale, and only is supposed to give you the idea.
Sorry if it sounds like gibberish.
Thinking back, I didn't even really like GTA V's story at all.
I thought it was boring, had pretty awful characters, and it felt like they threw the end of it together in like 15 minutes.

While I agree on the ending be rushed, I really like the characters. Hell I didn't hate Franklin either, I actually liked him more than I thought I would.
In fact, my unpopular opinion, Michael was way better than Trevor.

I don't think Trevor, from a moral point of view, was intended to be a likeable character. If it wasn't for the jokes and brutish attitude he would've been hated.

I don't mean likable as a person, I mean likable as a character, y'know?
I don't mean likable as a person, I mean likable as a character, y'know?
A character's personality does contribute to their overall likeability as well.
A character's personality does contribute to their overall likeability as well.
Yeah but you can like a character for being a horrible person. You just don't like him as a person.
I would hate Trevor if I met him because he's an insane murderous psychopath. But I love him as a character, but he's an absolute crazy unknowable wild card that has some really dark humorous writing to boot.

You get used to it I think, you can never be perfect in my opinion
Trevor made me laugh way too much to have him be anything but my favorite character. I like them all pretty equally, though. Franklin's a great character and probably the only one of the three that's mentally stable...or at least as much as you can be when you're killing hundreds of people over the course of a couple months.
i liked franklin the least because he was too "blank slate" compared to michael and trevor. there was really no past for him besides "hood shit" and "lives with aunt."
trevor was my favorite tho.
I find the /v/ and /b/ community to be more mature than the SH section.
I'm far too lazy to buy anything online

his character was basically "is black" and "wants money"
