I like George Bush too. Both presidents.
Half-Life, like any other game, is loved and hated.
It's not really an 'unpopular opinion' per se, just more of an unheard one.

I think that is fact, not opinion.
Max isn't that bad of a mod as people keep saying, most of the people that say shit like this are LMAO pic thread posters who can't read/follow the OP.
Mirrors Edge was good game, and EA should make part 2 of it with MP and freeroam

Does anyone disagree with this?

I hated mirrors edge, huge disappointment for me
Dead Island / Borderlands bored the poop out of me, didn't bother with their sequels. Odd, considering i'm a big fan of STALKER / Fallout.

I personally think that mirrors edge was boring and monotonous. It was a tech demo for me basicly. It does look very nice, almost photorealistic, but that's because everything was made out of flat surfaces. The gameplay idea was good but even though there are several ways to reach your goal it felt pretty linear.

Probably because you actually do shit in STALKER / Fallout as opposed to just grinding a fuckton with Dead Island and Borderlands.
I like that it's completely disabled in Mass Debate.
I would like just having Agree and Disagree only for Mass Debate.

I never grinded in either game.

Seriously, Borderlands never really felt like a grind to me.
Really? Borderlands didn't feel like a grind to you?
I've only played Borderlands 2, and I played that for a while, but it felt like a massive grind. Go here, shoot dudes, get a slightly better gun, shoot dudes, get better gun, rinse, repeat. It was only ever broken up by the occasional boss fight.
Yeah, I guess its because I expected to be shooting dudes in an FPS, I dunno.
I think PC gaming is on a decline filled with "indie heroes" and quick cash in ports and that most PC fanboys are too blinded by the MUSTER RACE to accept it.
I think that Bioshock Infinite, while having a good story (minus a few plotholes) is absolutely awful mechanically as a game.
Tying in with the first one but I hate all Indie games that go with a "retro" look without even attempting to be retro. (8-bit graphics with SNES sound quality or vice versa, just using pixels and saying RETRO etc)
I think anything xbox related is a total waste of money and would prefer if people just sent their money to charity instead.
I'm addicted to grinding in games as long as it makes me feel like I'm still improving... even if the improvements aren't needed at all. (I was the top ranked player in Disgaea 4 for a good period of time)
EA customer support was very helpful.
Fish is horrible. It doesn't taste good to begin with and you have to eat it with constant fear of biting on a fish bone.

You're getting bad fish then.
There is a distinct under appreciation for history and writing class in US schools. At least in my area hiatorical ignorance and poor writing ability are a huge issue.
I'd much rather watch a good LP of a game than play it myself.
Hand-writing is important.
Oh I remember one!
I hope Half-Life 3 never ever comes out in any kind of form and it continues to be swept under the rug. Not because it's a bad series or whatever but because there's no way, absolutely NO WAY it can live up to the hype around it.
Edit: Also I'm not sure if Valve is capable of making a story that isn't wacky anymore.

What hype? Valve hasn't Hyped Half Life 3 at all. People are over hyping Half Life 3 themselves and no matter how good Half Life 3 may or may not be, people will say "Oh it was disappointing" even if it really wasn't.

At this rate it'll be the next Duke Nukem Forever

Whether Valve hyped the game up or the fanbase did is entirely irrelevant. It's unlikely that Valve will ever be able to release a Half-life 3 that actually lives up to expectations. And Valve are likely aware of that fact and it's likely why they don't like to talk about the game in the first place.
I think Shaun of the Dead is a huge piece of shit.
I hated ghostbusters
It felt like a huge cash grab to me
Mirror's Edge was boring to play, not particularly interesting in terms of story, and horribly ported on PC.
Payday: the Heist is overrated, extremely bugged, and is completely coasting on the fact that it let's friends play together.
Capitalism generally works better than Communism.
Bronies and furries etc should be put to death
