Speaking of GTA V, the radios suck. GTA:SA Radio stations were way better
Gta v story kinda suck around the end, it felt like it ended early. Also Trevor was a shitty protag
I have never understood why people look after realism in games
Speaking of GTA V, the radios suck. GTA:SA Radio stations were way better
Vice City radio, best radio ever.
Speaking of GTA V, the radios suck. GTA:SA Radio stations were way better
I don't think there's anything wrong with the radio stations on GTAV, the songs that speifically created for the game are top quality.
I actually didn't hate EA until the SimCity fiasco
The rich is not the problem with the united states, they shouldn't be taxed more because the middle class are too greedy and lazy to contribute. The working class are also one of the greatest but are too weak willed to reach their full potential. The middle class is what is ruining this country.
You're fucking joking right? Okay, whatever, this is the Unpopular Opinions thread but still, saying the Middle Class is greedy and lazy is the dumbest thing. I'm sorry, but you cannot generalize a whole social class (nearly 50% of the population) I couldn't go out and say that the Upper Class is lazy and greedy because it simply isn't true for all of them, or even close to the majority. And you cannot just call all Working Class people "weak willed" either. That is some fucked up perspective.
Alien Vendetta is an overrated Doom WAD.
I don't like pineapples, and while I can understand their use in salads etc. fruity stuff, I find the idea of a watery pineapple slice on a pizza to be really fucking weird. Like, nobody puts apple or banana on pizza, why pineapple?
Been watching Game Grumps as a way to forget about my depression (long story), and I've come to the ultimate conclusion. I like Danny ten million times better than Jon.
The only reason people watched Game Grumps was that it had JonTron and Egoraptor TOGETHER OMGGGGG!!!11!!!, not because of actually how good it was. JonTron? Fucking hilarious. Egoraptor? Hell yes, funny and smart. GG with Jon and Ego? Ehhhhh.
Spirited Away, while an amazing movie, gets a little too much credit in my opinion. Lots of people say it's the greatest animated movie of all time, but I dunno, it's a pretty film to look at, but a lot of Chihiro's line deliveries can be pretty annoying, at least in the english dub. Again, I like the movie, but holy shit, I've never heard one bad thing about it.
Is there something wrong with me if I've never heard of this movie?
The rich is not the problem with the united states, they shouldn't be taxed more because the middle class are too greedy and lazy to contribute.
How delusional
Okay, so what class do you say you or your family falls into? How much yearly income does you or your family make?
I have never understood why people look after realism in games
really depends on the kind of realism damage models in tank games rather than just having a health bar? Yay weapon durability in RPGs? Die cold and alone.
Okay, so what class do you say you or your family falls into? How much yearly income does you or your family make?
Me and my family are working our whole lives. Luckily im young so I can make something of myself.
Me and my family are working our whole lives. Luckily im young so I can make something of myself.
So you'd say working class, then? Well, one of the huge reasons the "weak willed" working class doesn't move up is mostly because there is little mobility left in America. If you don't have a college education, it is very unlikely you are going anywhere. So all those people who believed they could coast out their lives on decent salaries in manufacturing back in the 80s (or in the case of the Chicago area, the Steel Mills) got a nasty surprise when those jobs got outsourced and they never had the college education to fall back on. It really has little to do with being "weak willed" in my opinion just because higher level jobs aren't open to them and they don't have the money to pay for a college education for themselves. All they can really do is grind it out and hope their kids fair better. Meanwhile, the middle class are those of us who got an education and work mostly in the service industry, but I can tell you it sure as shit is no easy task. Do you want to know what my dad does for a living? He's a firefighter. He saves people's lives. That is just a career for him. So to sit there and say that he, and all other people in the middle class are lazy, is just absurd. He has gotten 3 awards from the state for fuck sake, and he's probably the least lazy person I have ever met. That isn't to say there aren't lazy people in the middle class. There are lazy and greedy people in every social class, but many don't get the chance to express it due to the conditions. But there are also many productive, hard working people who just want to have a good life in every social class. To broadly say that the whole middle class is both lazy and greedy, and to state that the working class is entirely weak willed, is just foolish. I really don't mean to be harsh, because this is the Unpopular Opinions thread, but that just goes against basic facts. I don't think there is a single group, no matter how conformist and united, that one can make blanket statements like that and have them be entirely true. It's... delusional, to use your own words. So then, why don't the working class and middle class ever become rich? It must be laziness, right? Well, that answer sounds simple and sweet to a naive, bright eyed youngster who truthfully believes that hard work and grit will earn you lodsemone, but sadly it just isn't true. It is a simple fact of nature that for some to have more, others must have less, so if gaining more was a simple exercise as just working hard than everybody would be millionaires (or, because of that little fact of nature above, in the gutters dirt poor) . To make a lot of money; like, 1% "Upper Class" Rockafella money, you have to be a great opportunist. You have to be able to find and capitalize on various opportunities that present themselves. That is partly why we call it capitalism. However, not all people get the same opportunities and not all people realize when to take those opportunities. That isn't laziness, just good old human error. The working class barely has enough money to put bread on the table, where as the middle class is certainly better off but they don't get any form of aid from the government, meaning almost every expense comes right out of their pocket. This means the minute they make money, it's gone. Luckier folks, like my family, do get the extra money to spend on, for lack of a better word, luxuries. That's because my dad works his ass off and my mom's job pays well too. Both of them are full-time employees and my dad even has a part-time small business that he runs. So yes, I do suppose hard work and effort does allow you to get places in the end, but the competition is fierce and moving ahead of the game takes serious skills. and like I said, for those to have more, some must have less, so inevitably there will always be a working class, middle class, and upper class regardless of economic and social structure. Every single society on Earth ever has worked this way because it is the natural order of things. It is truly an American thought to believe that all you need to succeed is some smarts and effort, and that anyone who fails is simply lazy, but with the growing competition such a thing is not feasible. Hell, even without the competition it just plain isn't. Simple arithmetic, for one to have more one has to have less. Regardless of my economic rant, I am not trying to be hostile. I am just trying to point out that that is a horribly skewed way of looking at things. I mean, if you believe the middle class is at fault for this country's economic state or whatever, that is fine. But to say all middle class people, once again nearly half the population, lazy and greedy, is just plain false.
I don't care for Bastille. I have to hear that same fucking song of theirs on the radio almost every time I take a shower :(
Anyone voting for the right wing whilst earning less than the top tax bracket is a total dickhead.
Anyone voting for the right wing whilst earning less than the top tax bracket is a total dickhead.
Those people are the ones who consider themselves to be "temporarily embarrassed millionaires" even in the face of everything pointing towards the contrary. Many of them convince themselves seriously that one day they will "pull up their boostraps" and do Ayn Rand proud.
Anyone voting for the right wing whilst earning less than the top tax bracket is a total dickhead.
This is somewhat unfair. How do you define "right wing" usually? These widely vary from country to country, and given that sometimes conservatives win elections there must be some kind of logic as to why half the electorate voted them in.
Gta V sucks so bad. Gta IV was so much better. The physics engine was absurd but it was FUN! Too much realism ruins the game, to the point where it's not realistic.
GTA V is by no means realistic, but at least it was fun. Why do people need realism in their games so badly? Barring the phenomenon that GTA is so popular overseas because it emulates day-to-day activities outside of the story, anyone who thinks that GTA IV is realistic is delusional. The controls are ass, the colours are washed out and awful and driving is such a chore that I pretty much took the taxi most times because I felt I wasn't getting rewarded for my driving many hours into the game. Niko was an awful protagonist too, but I'm just bringing up my hate boner for IV again. I'm sure people are sick of it by now. So I'll just shit on GTA V instead; Michael is an unsympathetic douchebag, Trevor is the most interesting character and Franklin is a total bore. I kind of wish that they just focused on one protagonist instead of doing the three-switcheroo sorta thing. It's interesting stuff in terms of storytelling, but developing three playable characters at the same time was a bit of a stretch, even for Rockstar's amazing writers. But, [sp]I'm still pissed about Johnny's death.[/sp]
Dr. Pepper is actually disgusting
