Top Gear USA isn't nearly as bad as ppl make it out to be (especially from the 3rd season onward)

I personally find the steam layout we have now is bland and generic.

ALL OF MY YES.
Spirited Away, while an amazing movie, gets a little too much credit in my opinion. Lots of people say it's the greatest animated movie of all time, but I dunno, it's a pretty film to look at, but a lot of Chihiro's line deliveries can be pretty annoying, at least in the english dub.
Again, I like the movie, but holy shit, I've never heard one bad thing about it.
I personally think Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, and Whisper of the Heart are all better. Not that Spirited Away is bad nonetheless.
Princess Mononoke is far superior to me, it's more mature and is generally a well made movie.
Princess Mononoke is actually really similar to Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind but fantasy instead of sci-fi and at times a little more nonsensical. Both are still good though. (Note btw: Nausicaa came first. It was made before Studio Ghibli was actually officially a thing.)
So you'd say working class, then?
Well, one of the huge reasons the "weak willed" working class doesn't move up is mostly because there is little mobility left in America. If you don't have a college education, it is very unlikely you are going anywhere. So all those people who believed they could coast out their lives on decent salaries in manufacturing back in the 80s (or in the case of the Chicago area, the Steel Mills) got a nasty surprise when those jobs got outsourced and they never had the college education to fall back on. It really has little to do with being "weak willed" in my opinion just because higher level jobs aren't open to them and they don't have the money to pay for a college education for themselves. All they can really do is grind it out and hope their kids fair better.
Meanwhile, the middle class are those of us who got an education and work mostly in the service industry, but I can tell you it sure as shit is no easy task.
Do you want to know what my dad does for a living? He's a firefighter. He saves people's lives. That is just a career for him. So to sit there and say that he, and all other people in the middle class are lazy, is just absurd. He has gotten 3 awards from the state for fuck sake, and he's probably the least lazy person I have ever met.
That isn't to say there aren't lazy people in the middle class. There are lazy and greedy people in every social class, but many don't get the chance to express it due to the conditions. But there are also many productive, hard working people who just want to have a good life in every social class. To broadly say that the whole middle class is both lazy and greedy, and to state that the working class is entirely weak willed, is just foolish. I really don't mean to be harsh, because this is the Unpopular Opinions thread, but that just goes against basic facts. I don't think there is a single group, no matter how conformist and united, that one can make blanket statements like that and have them be entirely true. It's... delusional, to use your own words.
So then, why don't the working class and middle class ever become rich? It must be laziness, right? Well, that answer sounds simple and sweet to a naive, bright eyed youngster who truthfully believes that hard work and grit will earn you lodsemone, but sadly it just isn't true. It is a simple fact of nature that for some to have more, others must have less, so if gaining more was a simple exercise as just working hard than everybody would be millionaires (or, because of that little fact of nature above, in the gutters dirt poor) . To make a lot of money; like, 1% "Upper Class" Rockafella money, you have to be a great opportunist. You have to be able to find and capitalize on various opportunities that present themselves. That is partly why we call it capitalism. However, not all people get the same opportunities and not all people realize when to take those opportunities. That isn't laziness, just good old human error. The working class barely has enough money to put bread on the table, where as the middle class is certainly better off but they don't get any form of aid from the government, meaning almost every expense comes right out of their pocket. This means the minute they make money, it's gone. Luckier folks, like my family, do get the extra money to spend on, for lack of a better word, luxuries. That's because my dad works his ass off and my mom's job pays well too. Both of them are full-time employees and my dad even has a part-time small business that he runs. So yes, I do suppose hard work and effort does allow you to get places in the end, but the competition is fierce and moving ahead of the game takes serious skills. and like I said, for those to have more, some must have less, so inevitably there will always be a working class, middle class, and upper class regardless of economic and social structure. Every single society on Earth ever has worked this way because it is the natural order of things. It is truly an American thought to believe that all you need to succeed is some smarts and effort, and that anyone who fails is simply lazy, but with the growing competition such a thing is not feasible. Hell, even without the competition it just plain isn't. Simple arithmetic, for one to have more one has to have less.
Regardless of my economic rant, I am not trying to be hostile. I am just trying to point out that that is a horribly skewed way of looking at things. I mean, if you believe the middle class is at fault for this country's economic state or whatever, that is fine. But to say all middle class people, once again nearly half the population, lazy and greedy, is just plain false.
My god you are so disconnected from reality that it isn't even funny.

I wonder how many months it'll take.
I mean, by this point I think everyone realizes you're one of them

I hate Dota2 and mobas. Nowadays, all my irl friends only play Dota2. We used to play fun and a large variety of games before, but now it's all just dota dota dota dota dota. I'm so sick of dota, and after every game they are all pissed off at eachother but then resumes to play another game of what appears for me to be a rage simulator.

Forget that. We need to know what happened to Adrian Shephard

Even worse is that they have basically become the PC markets answer to Call of Duty. Not in the sense that there a bajillions of sequels, because God knows Valve never makes a third anything, but that its the go-to genre whenever you need to make a game that sells. Need a sequel to a long-standing franchise regardless of the genre? Make a shitty MOBA. Want to make a hip, cool indie game because college tuition ain't gonna pay for itself? Shit out an indie MOBA.
That, and it is the one genre I openly despise. I just cannot get into them. MOBAs bore me to tears. They seem to be a mix of the worst parts of strategy games and the worst parts of MMORPGs combined into one, as you said, rage simulator. When I watch people play them, they seem more or less frustrated and tense rather than fun and relaxed, which in my opinion is what games are about.
Some people find it fun and challenging, and it does seem to require a lot of thought for builds and for strategies, which may be why I do not like them. I don't like having to use my brain because I spend pretty much all day exercising it at school. When I come home, I just want something fun and relazing, not challenging and stressful.
Anyone that likes post apocalyptia should defiantly read it
I'll read it, but I will be vocally unhappy about it

The only reason why people rage over mobas are because they're bad and cant admit their own mistakes and needs a scapegoat.

FTFY
I don't care for Marvel and DC superheroes/villains. I only like Batman and Thor.

Also, FP seems to be experience slow posting speeds again. Unless it's just a problem on my end.
Call of duty ghosts is one of the DECENT call of duty games. The other one being Black Ops II.
Crack-Life is the funniest Half-Life modification many have seen.
Stargate universe had the potential to be better than atlantis and sg1. I think it just lost half it's fans due to the shitty first half of the first season. The rest is great (other than the scott/chloe relationship which was awful)

At least I'm entitled to my opinion, and so are you.
The only bad treyarch call of duty game is the original black ops. Shudder shudder.

Never said you weren't
the original black ops is kind of a mixed bag, don't quite know what to say about it, I do enjoy it more than MW3 at least.
Counter strike is no better then CoD
uh, those are two VERY different games.

both are modern military first person shooters with multiplayer that involve the same mechanics.
I don't see how it's different from being any other type of entertainer.
its different because you don't get payed for entertaining, you get payed a very small portion for the ads that sit on your videos. and your income can be taken away at the drop of a hat, with out any warning.
Comic books aren't really my cup of tea. Kick-Ass was pretty nice, though.
The Avengers is the most overrated piece of Hollywood garbage I've seen in years and I have no idea why it got the praise that it did.
Because its a fun movie with fun actors playing fun characters, it's not perfect but its a hell of a lot better than most of the schlock Hollywood churns out these days.
Besides, Avatar is the most overrated Hollywood movie to come out in the last decade.

sorry what. that's like saying quake and battlefield are the same because you point in a direction and shoot. the way that CS and CoD play is radically different
