What was the explanation they gave for it out of curiosity? Also, lol, nice username.
[sp] In Metroid fusion, the way they find the Metroid's DNA was from off of Samus' suit in the intro to Other M. When the GF cleans off her suit, they take the Metroid's DNA, along with several other creature's DNA Samus encounters in Super Metroid. The GF was fiddling with the pirate's ways of bio-engineering, and gave way to a clone of Ridley at his beginning cycle of his life. Keep in mind, this was the case of Other M, so the rest could be just a bunch of rebuilt Meta Ridleys, before the end of the Metroid Prime Trilogy. [/sp]
James makes a fairly adorable girl way too often. :v:
He/she was also one of the more developed characters, he/she actually had quite a backstory to him/her.
I think tofu tastes fine. I don't get where the whole it tastes bad craze comes from because I've met a whole lot of people who've never even tried it who think it tastes bad.
Some people on the Internet really need to let go of grudges, especially those pertaining to people they've never met IRL. Person X may have acted like a dick in the past, but stalking his or her Tumblr/Twitter and demonizing every word they say is just stupid. eg. Max edit: this can apply to fanbases as well
I don't hold grudges, seems silly to me to dislike everything about a person because of one thing.
when I play tf2 or kf or anything else and I hear like a little kid mic'ing, I don't care. in fact, I think little gamer kids are adorable (the most I've run into) I was playing kf tonight and this kid was like "wow look at my shotgun" like it was the greatest thing ever, and his honest amazement was adorable; then this douchebag, probably upper teens, started acting like an immature bully, picking on the kid when he would talk and yeah, I'm not bothered when kids play on servers with me. As long as they're cool.
The Clarinet is a shitty instrument and should be abolished from all compositions.
As long as they don't talk much, I'm fine.
if they don't talk much, i'm fine heck, if they talk a lot, i'm fine but if they constantly yammer on with a seemingly infinite supply of air in their lungs and never letting go of their voicechat key, THEN i'm pissed. [editline]26th April 2013[/editline] of course this applies to people with developed voices as well.
Already said that but... I love BRINK.
I don't hold grudges, seems silly to me to dislike everything about a person because of one thing.
Believe me, I have seen people on 4chan stalk the every online move of a semi-famous musician/celebrity/artist/etc, post how 'shitty' they are and engage in a big circlejerk. And when I see this happening, I can't help but think 'are you guys heavily tsundere for this dude or what'
I think people should seriously consider cutting down on their meat consumption (beef, chicken, seafood etc.) if they really care about the natural environment (which I think everyone should).
I hated mirrors edge, huge disappointment for me
Who likes and dislikes this game? I've seen a huge split of people who like and dislike it.
Who likes and dislikes this game? I've seen a huge split of people who like and dislike it.
apparently its because the first-person parkour can be unwieldy for some personally i haven't tried the game yet
apparently its because the first-person parkour can be unwieldy for some personally i haven't tried the game yet
Hardly. It was a 4-5 hour long ultra-linear tech demo with a $60 asking price. There is a reason a sequel wasn't immediately pumped out by EA, and that reason is lack of sales and lack of real critical appeal.
To jump back to the last page, in my opinion "Metroid Other M" was closer to 2D Metroid games from a narrative perspective than the "Prime" series.
I think weed should stay banned as is, I absolutely hate anime and people who act like anime characters irl, pisses me off to no extend inside when people ramble about some japanese words that they have no idea what means. Also when some people in the age of 14-16 start going "omg guys im gay i love cock", they need to take a chill pill. I have nothing against homosexuality, but you are first starting to discover your sexuality at those ages. I mean hey, it's fine if you are certain, but it takes time to develope your sexuality so it might vary a lot.
I just don't get how people can keep buying pokemon game after pokemon game. They're all basically identical.
Guns are dangerous.
Guns are dangerous.
Only as dangerous as the people using them.
I feel good when I get rated funnies and winners
Only as dangerous as the people using them.
With the exception of children.
I liked Diablo 3.
Who likes and dislikes this game? I've seen a huge split of people who like and dislike it.
I liked the artstyle, even if the 2d cutscene things were weird. It's great visually, the only thing that isn't that appealing to me in this aspect is how not all stunts look that great in first person. I also liked the whole parkour concept. What bothers me and is IMO the biggest problem is the repetition. I mean, it's the same animation for every door you open, and there's a shitload of them. Then after a lot of jumping off red things on white buildings, it gets boring for a lot of people. Also if I recall correctly there was a lot of hype to it, because it was released during that time when everyone started paying attention to parkour, and things like what I said and other disappointing things just made a lot of people mad
I've never really bought into the whole "Screw you this is the internet nothing is sacred I'll do what I want!" thing. Doesn't matter where you are, basic human decency is still expected. Just because something can be said, doesn't mean it should be.
Iron Tarkus is no help at all, you can beat the Iron Golem easily on your own. Iron Tarkus is therefore useless and all the jokes about him are annoying. [editline]26th April 2013[/editline]
To jump back to the last page, in my opinion "Metroid Other M" was closer to 2D Metroid games from a narrative perspective than the "Prime" series.
But there was no point to having a narrative perspective if Samus couldn't act any different from Melissa/MB, a human android who supposedly had no emotions. Samus telling a story like in Super Metroid and Fusion were a great way to add a narrative perspective, you get that she was totally alone when having to under missions. MP3's Norion game opener with the other hunters was so much better for narrative too. And having unique allies like the 3 hunters in MP3 was much more enjoyable then a bunch GF marines accompanying you. Them being unique with their personalities added a lot more of a possible narrative then the marines. There was a hint of Alien with the multiple marines following you, but other Metroid has only taken it a a small extent, and should have left it at that. Despite this sounding like a popular opinion, this was a attempt to uphold the fact that the Space Pirates were a lot more 3 dimesional (ironically) and was the best part of Other M.
I think drummers should be in front of any band, they never receive the recognition they deserve. They are usually the most skilled member of a band.
I'm pro-choice. The amount of times I've been called a "murder supporter" is beyond counting.
Even if there's a shitload of people against it in North America I'd say its not an unpopular opinion, which is great
People who're pro-choice and against capital punishment are hypocrites.
99.9% of aspiring rappers are idiots.
