Valve are wasting their time with the Steamboxes, its just confusing and nobody even asked for this I don't want to PC GAME ON THA COUCH at all, ever, big picture is completely useless and if I did want to pc game on the couch I would replace my office chair with a goddamn couch I don't understand what they are doing with all this shit
I don't really understand the hype for virtual reality
I think nearly 90% of all dogs are huge shits. This is probably because of shitty owners that don't discipline their dogs, but still. I think that the amount of sensitivity that people have nowadays over every little thing that upsets them is bullshit. Stop acting so entitled.

Stop acting so entitled.
As a dog owner, I get to see some really shitty owners from time to time. I once had the pleasure to camp close to someone who had a dog that barked at bicycles, and what the owner did was they took the dog away from the bicycles.

I don't see how they're wasting their time just because it's not for you.
I don't really understand the hype for virtual reality
Putting goggles and shit over your head? I can see it as an improvement, but i don't think it'd be amazing. Touch, smell and taste still aren't there. Matrix kind of stuff though? Yeah. That'd be amazing. You could: Live life as an animal, the oposite gender, as a youth... Live life with super powers Do very dangerous or morally questionable shit without getting into too much trouble. Eat amazing food that doesn't exist. Learn things very easily. You could surround yourself with chinese teachers and learn the language. You could visit key points in history.

I still agree though, I don't know if it will work and quite frankly, I don't care. I don't mean to sound like an elitist prick or a hipster douche, but I would rather see the console and PC gaming communities remain mostly separate. There are huge differences between the two and moving one community from consoles onto PC isn't a good idea. That's an Unpopular Opinion if I ever heard one.
DICE should revive Command and Conquer: Renegade
Assassin's Creed III's combat system is just as simple, if not better than that of its predecessors.
I miss the cinimatic counters AC1 and 2 had. I never could get them to work in 3 and onwards.
I hope TES:O crashes and burns. The TES series is pretty renowned because its one of the biggest single-player focused experiences out there, so why an MMO? Who asked for an MMO? Are people really going to pay a monthly fee of an online, unmoddable Skyrim? I wish Bethesda would just make another damn Fallout already (and let Obsidian do it)

It's among a plethora of games like STALKER where half the community wants coop yet everyone know that nobody in the world is going to give it to them. It's a great singleplayer experience and it could be fun with a friend or two. But TES:O is not what anyone was asking for. I don't get it. It's World of Warcraft skinned to look like TES. That's retarded, even with weird personal concepts of what the series should be. NOBODY needs more of that crummy grind MMO shit.
Duke Nukem Forever was a pretty good game. It did not give the series justice, but it was still a fun little shooter.
The elder scrolls wouldn't really be a good coop game, the combat is awful so it's not like you could have fun with that, not much else that having coop would benefit with
Well I disagree so.
I miss the cinimatic counters AC1 and 2 had. I never could get them to work in 3 and onwards.
Those were nice, but trying to counter-kill in the first two games with anything that wasn't the sword was a nightmare. It was twice as infuriating when Altair or Ezio just kicked the enemy away instead of using that perfect chance to get inside their guard and land a stab in their chest. Revamping the combat system in Brotherhood to make counters more reliable and adding in chain kills was the best thing Ubisoft did for the series. Now if only they would understand how PC optimization works and how Uplay is just a waste of disk space.
The foundation of Rust is quite solid, even for an early alpha, but your mileage is obviously going to vary wildly with its community.
I wish Bethesda would just make another damn Fallout already (and let Obsidian do it)
Bethesda should get the engine and gameplay set up so that Obsidian can give us a world with a great atmosphere and story.
Mirror's Edge gets a lot more praise than it deserves.
This. This so much, honestly 90% of what Mirror's Edge is is the extremely stylish presentation, there just isn't that much to it.
I hate it when there are multiple in-game voice clips in SFM videos that are edited together to make it sound like a new sentence. I cringe every single time.
Frozen isn't that good of a movie. It was just another disney movie.
Putting Bethesda in charge of the engine isn't the best idea...
Gamebryo (or creaton or whatever) would be good if they ironed out the flaws. And the last time Bethesda provided the engine and Obsidian the world was F:NV, which is one of my favourite games
As good as F:NV is it still looks like fucking oblivion, complete with garbage 2005 animation quality
that's less to do with the engine and more to do with the animations that bethesda did for fallout 3 (which were recycled for new vegas) being bethesda animations (aka hideous) it's actually rather jarring when you see the animations obsidian made, such as joshua graham tinkering with the m1911s in honest hearts, and how they're so much better than the ones bethesda did
My problem with that engine is that moving in it feels like navigating a viewport in a piece of software. There's no momentum or acceleration. You always move at the same speed and stop moving the second you release the key.
On the topic of the Steam Machine, i can't help but think the best course of action to help those things sell is if Valve was to pay console game developers to support the Steam Machine. Hell, i'd probably buy a Steam Machine just for the next Tales game, provided that Valve pays Namco.
Frozen isn't that good of a movie. It was just another disney movie.
Disney movies in general are all very generic and uninspired. Well, not all Disney movies, but quite a sizeable chunk.
Bethesda are getting worse, not better. two steps forward, three steps back. I think that by now... The game universe should feel like some kind of shounen manga. You start off a person with average strength. You end up as a guy who can jump three metres high, run faster than a horse, climb like a spider , hit harder than a hippo and faster than a falcon... and that's just the warrior path. Instead you're just the same guy who gives and takes more damage. The rpg elements are getting worse and the action ellements are hardly getting better. The storytelling is getting worse too. I think Co-op would only work if one player was considered the 'host' or the servers were dedicated. Meaning that Everyone would need to make a new character when joining someone else (meaning they won't have quest conflicts and a maxed character wouldn't just throw daedric at the main character.)
Firefly is overrated.
