I miss Liberty City. I know that San Andreas is superior in both size, layout, and things to do, but I still feel nostalgic for that dark, overpowering, dangerous atmosphere that LC had. It always felt like the city was bigger than you. An atmosphere that made you feel unimportant and unnoticed in the busy, yet dark concrete jungle. Dangerous. Los Santos/Blaine County feel relatively safe, even friendly in comparison. It's beautiful, but empty.
I'm not saying Liberty City was better in gameplay. But I still miss the feel it had.

I loved San Andreas for its own reasons, but I did love that feeling that LC had.
I don't like Andrea in The Walking Dead comics and I feel like literally the only person who dislikes her.
while we're on the topic:
i don't believe gta v deserves nearly as high of a rating as it almost unanimously received.
Valve is actually an extremely mediocre company and everyone that rides their dick (gabe especially) saying that they are the best thing ever, everything they do is great etc is a fucking idiot.

While we're saying games that receive way too much praise...
The Last of Us was a predictable zombie story that pulled nothing new. It was good at what it was, but it didn't break new ground. That, and the characters are blown way out of proportion and were no where near as well written as people insist they are.
While Twisted Metal 2 is a very good game, I find Black better in every way except soundtrack
White privilege isn't the only shade of privilege in the social spectrum out there, and I don't think we should be picking and choosing when it comes to the types of racial/ethnic/nationalistic/social privilege we address in the public dialogue.

Hooray for providing details!

Excellent grand theft auto game, but it didn't really try anything new.
I also find some of the changes they made kind of lame, like how cars are invincible

Personally I think it's better than IV in every way except the driving. While it is nice they toned it down and made it a bit more accessible, I would have been happier if they had done it like in TBOGT or modified it a bit.

I was disappointed with the euphoria. People tend to just flop over when you shoot them, the euphoria is so toned down it's almost like it isn't there.
Plus getting drunk isn't nearly as fun anymore, and the animation for taking one drink is so long that the effect has almost worn off by the time you take another.
Since this is a place for unpopular opinions.
Team Fortress 2's VSH and FF2 are overrated.

I'm pretty sure that's just GTA Online leaving a big stinky aftertaste in peoples mouth's
The singleplayer is fucking incredible and easily one of the best experience I've had with gaming in general, then the much hyped Online came out and was completely shit and remains completely shit to this day
Mirror's Edge gets a lot more praise than it deserves.
I agree. I read all this praise and I'm like "Was I playing the same game?" I did like it, but there was more I DIDN'T like about it TBH. I got it super cheap through the origin humble bundle anyway so meh.
The Ouya is more of a sandbox for aspiring game developers than it is an actual console.

Aren't all zombie stories predictable?

I find it really dumb how people always randomly fall down when you pull them out of cars. Why not just activate the Euphoria so they stumble out of the way when you pull them, and maybe fall down if the occasion is right? It looks so stupid how you just grab their arm and they get out of the car, then just collapse as if they died.
I think that humans have a shared single culture, and for countries to block out other peoples and to use isolationist methods is stupidity. Any human has a basic right to move to any country they please without restriction based upon where they happened to be born.
This whole 'Postal and the Rust forum' and posting his avatar banning things thing isn't funny.
I don't find the whole *tips fedora* thing funny at all.

Fedora hating is just the latest internet trend now.
I'm sure by the end of the year it'll move on to some other article of clothing some group of people wear.
