I like consoles.

Care to explain?
There's a lot of difference between a living, breathing human being who's been in this world for a while and a fetus that isn't conscious.
I like consoles.
That's a pretty common opinion outside of Facepunch, I think.
Well, this applies more to the Facepunch community, people get so butthurt about consoles and technolgoy being held back. It's so damn pointless.
Don't get me wrong I like pc and consoles, usually I play pc for online shooters and strategy games. I play the rest of the games on console and with friends while hanging out or with my girlfriend.
The argument that consoles hold back technology is kind of silly. There are many more variables that have to be taken into account when claiming such a broad statement. So far the only major technological advancements are graphics and how to render games in a better way. This is good but other aspects of game developement have less focus. How come that the AI in games are still so medicore and mostly stupid, only a handful of games have good AI.
Megadeth aren't as good as everyone says.
^ A band cannot call themselves Megadeath and expect to be taken seriously.
Fighting games are boring, tedious, lacking in depth and I have no idea why anyone would ever buy one.
lacking in depth
that's umm, kind of the deal... they're meant to be simple and easy to play.

Some fighting games have just a ridiculous amounts of depth and deep mechanics. Play Soul Calibur, it's insane who complex that game can be. Tons of combos and other stuff that makes the combat quite complex and you need quite some skill. I like to play these games with my friends locally.
I liked Fable III not as a fable game, just by itself I liked it.

Soul Calibur is the best shit. I used to play SC2 with a couple of my friends every week. The fighting system in that game is so great. We got ridiculously good at it, to the point where we could sense grabs coming and they'd never land since we'd duck under them because we each knew how the others fought so well. :v:
Most fighting games are pretty boring though.
I'm not throwing my support in for either side, but comparing a desperate mother to mass murderers and war criminals is a tad silly.
I agree, that does sound very silly, which is why I'm not doing it. I just think there's something hypocritical about saying a quick and harmless death is "too cruel" for a mass-murdering psychopath, but at the same time saying there's nothing wrong with putting an unborn baby in a blender if the mother signs the proper consent forms.

I agree, a friend and I bought SC5 just out of curiousity, at first it was really hard to get used to it but we fought eachother so often and created characters to specifically to counter the attacks from the other. Furthermore we were on the same skill level, which made the fights extremely challenging and entertaining.
I liked the artstyle, even if the 2d cutscene things were weird. It's great visually, the only thing that isn't that appealing to me in this aspect is how not all stunts look that great in first person.
I also liked the whole parkour concept. What bothers me and is IMO the biggest problem is the repetition. I mean, it's the same animation for every door you open, and there's a shitload of them. Then after a lot of jumping off red things on white buildings, it gets boring for a lot of people. Also if I recall correctly there was a lot of hype to it, because it was released during that time when everyone started paying attention to parkour, and things like what I said and other disappointing things just made a lot of people mad
I liked the game and had fun. Until it came to having to deal with combat. That's why I've never once made it past the second or third encounter in the game.
Megadeth aren't as good as everyone says.
I can't stand Megadeth. All of their songs that I've heard just sound horrible to me.
I liked Fable III not as a fable game, just by itself I liked it.
I liked Fable III, it felt like a Fable game to me. The pc port performance issues on the other hand were a steaming pile of bullshit. It didn't matter whether I played on maximum graphics or minimum graphics, I got the same framerate basically (like a 4fps difference...) and lag spikes in the exact same places.
I don't think people are born with their sexual preference.
Lady Gaga has made it impossible to have that conversation without being labeled a bigot and instantly dismissed, so now I'm totally in the dark and can't help but question how valid that stance is. Incidentally, I also think a lot of progressives are really dumb and harm their own movement.
Why can't I have that conversation? Why?
2-D Girls are superior to filthy 3-D WOMEN!
I think some species should be allowed to go extinct. I am not saying we should not protect endangered species (I am a biologist after all), I just think it is time we start doing environmental triage. Some species are getting a massive percentage of wildlife protection funding despite the fact they are not very environmentally important. I get that we need the "cute and fuzzy" endangered species to bring in funding, but give me the option I would let the panda die then divert that funding to saving other species that have more hope/are more important to their ecosystem.
I think the "let the pandas die" point of view counts as a unpopular opinion.
Half Life 3 should just bury the franchise.
Human genitalia are not pretty looking.
I know it's a bit pretecious but Freud was a fucking crackpot and a perverted old fuck that actively tried to connect you and his own sick wishes.
Im dumbfounded over just how he is so respected and famous.

Because back then, his ideas were pretty much the first of his kind, and they seemed to work.
Obviously you don't know much about him if all you know about him is that he talked about sex a lot.
daft punk only sound good/worthwhile live.
Iron Man 2 is my favourite Iron Man film.

I don't think this is unpopular. :v:
Doctor Who is a bad show.
Bacon doesn't taste that amazing.
I mean, it's nice and all but I've had better.

Agreed. I live in America, so when I turn down an offer of bacon people look at me like I'm a fucking terrorist.
