King Joffrey is nowhere near as bad as everyone makes him out to be. Sure he's a little shit. But it's very apparent from the entire first season of GOT that he's been brainwashed his whole life. There's a scene in episode four I think is was where he basically admits to his mum that he was a coward and didn't do the right thing, and she cuts him off and forces him to believe he was perfect. I'll even go as far as to say it was almost a good idea for Ned Stark to allow Joffrey to become king, and take him under his wing. Guiding him towards the right path. Basically preventing a war and the death of way too many people.
I thought Random Access Memories was garbage.
I think WH40k is terribly unfunny. Like, cringeworthy unfunny.
Honestly, I love WH40k, but I still cringe when people post stuff from it all over for no reason other than "HERESAY LOLZ"
the transnigger post wasn't really that funny
it wasn't funny at all. iirc, it was in reply to a post that made the same racist joke, except he didn't catch onto it. what happened after that was astounding.
i have no idea what that is. can someone link it?
Here you go

Calling it the "N word" to not be racist is dumb. You're probably a racist if you're overly worried about offending black people.
i don't care if they're ~historically accurate~ or whatever, they're just not funny. "hey, let's get an event in history but make it into a funny comic where the balls use funny grammar!! haha" i'm giving it a month and a half. then we'll start to see the hipster attitudes emerge.
They've been round for like 6 years, I don't think they will really die out (less frequent, but not dying out).

Garlic taste awfu
ps: polandball is the worst. i don't care if they're ~historically accurate~ or whatever, they're just not funny. They rely more on stereotypes and the intended audience (Facebook, Redditors) not know much about current events or history. The reason it's taking so long for LMAO pics to get it out of their system is because part of it is nerd humor.
analyzing and complaining if something is funny or not is the dumbest shit ever and more annoying than reposts
analyzing and complaining if something is funny or not is the dumbest shit ever and more annoying than reposts
Maybe in LMAO pics but this is the unpopular opinion thread. Unless this is your unpopular opinion in which case good contribution :v:
I think WH40k is terribly unfunny. Like, cringeworthy unfunny. Like, facepunch likes to shit over tumblr and reddit and other sites for their "stupid" obsessions and fandom in-jokes but WH40k jokse are somehow okay and not terrible? How is "haha DAAKKKA BIG ORKKZZZ WITH THEIR GUNSL!!! XDD" or "haha SPEHSS MAREENS" in a non-wh40k thread like LMAO pics any different from somebody "OMFG HOW DID SHERLOCK SURVIVE THE DROP?" or "HEY ITS JUST LIKE X PART IN Y EPISODE!" in a similar thread? [editline]27th January 2014[/editline] I really think this is a prime example of things-i-like hypocrisy that everybody on the internet suffers from, tho. Like, my interests are always great and topical, while theirs are fucking stupid. It's all about perspective. Sour cream is pretty fucked up.
I don't agree with the semi-popular notion that being book-smart is necessarily at odds with being street-smart. On the contrary, I think individuals who lack people skills tend to be quite dull and unscholarly.

I think Half Life 3 will be massively disappointing. I mean, I'll probably still like it, but this game has reached a point where it's nearly impossible to live up to all the hype it's built up over the years.
If half life 3's gameplay is just as good as HL2's it won't be a problem.
Honestly, I love WH40k, but I still cringe when people post stuff from it all over for no reason other than "HERESAY LOLZ"
I think that "heresy" stuff is especially retarded when it's a reply to some other fandom like furries or bronies or something. Way to counter unfunny fandom bullshit with even more unfunny fandom bullshit!
I like vending machines.
the transnigger post wasn't really that funny
Honestly I found it funny, but it's dumb as hell how people actually use shit like that to disregard transgender folk.
All this anti-40k sentiment is highly heretical *tips commissar hat and bolter*
It's not about being right or wrong. It's about being correct. Nobody has rights. Rights are a illusionary social construct. Always bothers me when i see (in fiction, sometimes in real life) a captured or 'offended' person (usually american) who tries to preach human rights when they're at the mercy of others.

It's an absolute travesty that Macklemore nabbed nearly all the Rap catagories. How the hell does thrift shop and bezerk score higher than swimming pools/drank? Of the nominations for best rap song, fuckin problems shoulda won.
HammerFall should represent Sweden for Eurovision 2014.
I really want to like Crusader Kings II, but there is just so much micromanagement and, in my opinion, the design is not very intuitive. I always go into it thinking it will be awesome, mostly because it has the best mods. But then I get bogged down in dozens of menus trying to make sense of who owns what and who is a vassal to me and who is not directly a vassal but still a liege and what the difference is and who is allied with who and who is family with who and what families control what kingdoms and who is unhappy and scheming against me and how do I stop them and how do I get certain traits and who should I appoint and will removing people to appoint new people piss someone off and why are people declaring war on me while I am at war with another kingdom and what De Jure means and how claims work and how wars work and how to use the members of my court and technological progress and transferring vassals and making other people my vassal and trying to make them switch sides and trying to incite rebellion amongst the nobles and trying to kill the kings and trying to acquire kingdoms through inheritance and trying to expand the demense in my kingdom through inheritance and how does succession work and who should I assassinate and if I wait for succession will my guy die and will someone somehow inherit my throne and how do these nobles keep acquiring fiefs without me knowing and why is important information shown in brief messages at the top of the screen with no further explanation and why is it so hard? Basically, it is a cluster-fuck. Maybe I am a drooling simpleton, but the game is overly complex and the presentation isn't that good. It is a pain in the ass to find specific people in your realm and you have to be mindful or everyone, everything, and everything everyone could be doing. It is hard to explain why I don't think the presentation isn't that good, but I'll try. Too many menus and yet the most important things don't even have straight-forward menus, and if they do, they are hard to find. It is a pain in the ass trying to understand who owns what even in a tiny kingdom. Yeah, it just isn't my kind of game, but I cannot understand how keeping track of this mess is fun to anyone. I mean, the game is immensely true to life as far a medieval politics goes, but that is exactly my point. Medieval politics is complex, mind-boggling, headache inducing, nauseating, and generally unpleasant. Also, Paradox is terrible with DLC. You can't play as a Republic until you buy the DLC. You can't play as Pagans until you buy the DLC. You can also buy music (yes, you need to buy the faction-specific soundtrack), leader portraits, and the ability to create your own leader. People bitch about EA but the amount of DLC Paradox slaps on its games is absurd. Then there is EUIII, with Heir to the Throne, Divine Wind, and fucking unit models all sold as DLC. I know two of those are expansions but they should have been in the base game. Still, it's the only grand strategy game where I can play in the Elder Scrolls universe, even if the mod is barely half finished.
People who care more about animals than humans need to get their priorities checked.
People who care more about animals than humans need to get their priorities checked.
Agreed, but this isn't unpopular.
I've never found Rhianna attractive. She kind of looks like an alien.
