Naw, I mean the ones who deliberately made every post without punctuation or anything. the ones who post everything like this even when they were making obnoxiously long posts which make it infuriating to read [editline]29th January 2014[/editline] But as I said, they're all gone now.
imo posts like the length of the ones you just made are fine if you don't add capital letters. punctuation's a different story tho because posts get really hard to read without them. like, if i make a post that's over 2 paragraphs i add capital letters. never really forgo punctuation though.
It makes things nicer to read when the quality of writing is better. If you write a really awful run-on sentence that won't end your opinion may be great, but noone of us wishes to read it.
honestly, what is this 'us'? Not everyone has the same mentality.
also there's plenty of posters that type like fucking english majors that deserve permabans. typing "wrong" and being a bad poster aren't mutually exclusive.
honestly, what is this 'us'? Not everyone has the same mentality.
Broad paint-strokes get the job done. In GENERAL people prefer a post be well written. Smartness imo actually is a bit drastic, a reintroduction of bad spelling might be better, and allowing you rate one rating plus bad spelling? That way, people don't ignore everything you say and give you a rating based on your grammar. Or, we don't really need any addition. The standard on facepunch is pretty good in relation to many websites, and if your grammar is awful you get harassed for it already.
If BF4 wasn't plauged with technical problems it would be fucking dope. It's fun as hell on PS4, but you're stuck with a controller.
I never enjoyed any of the Battlefield games. The earlier ones were alright but nothing I'd write home about. I could see why people liked them but they just didn't interest me. However, Battlefield 3 still boggles me. I can't find why so many people who universally pan Modern Warfare sit back and say Battlefield 3 was great. It just felt like Modern Warfare but bigger too me. I think a lot of it comes from the fact that people on the PC are still, for some reason, obsessed with graphics, and Battlefield 3 is nice looking. I just don't see the appeal, and from what I played of BF3 the rants on Modern Warfare seem kind of hypocritical.

And how is BF3 just like modern warfare? Have you even played modern warfare? There are the vehicles of course, lack of killstreaks, the guns handle really differently from different games.
The Daily Mail isn't all bad, their sports journalists actually know what they're talking about and can actually write from an impartial standpoint.
President Obama seems like a douche. Forget the politics, I just think he's a douche.
I think milkandcooki is alright alot of the time. Apparently most people dislike him though but I don't mind him at all and think he's pretty funny sometimes.
So when do you get disagree ratings are you proving your point? Or are you unproving yourself with agrees? or both?
Valve should approach Square-Enix about making a TF2 Play Arts Kai series
I usually skip posts made by people like thisispain and milkandcooki, not because I dislike these people, hell I even agree with them most of the time, it's because they're really hard to read and they often give me massive headaches. I also have this problem with some books where the letters are too small or the lines are too close to each other [editline]30th January 2014[/editline] And that's why I dislike posts entirely in lowercase letters, all the words start smelting together and stop making sense.

Say what you will about the morality of execution, opposing it by screaming "revenge fetish" is an ignorant strawman argument.
Valve should approach Square-Enix about making a TF2 Play Arts Kai series
What is it with you and your massive raging erection for Valve? If Valve doesn't want to crash and burn badly they need to concentrate on solidifying the base they already have, not rampant expansion into useless areas like you keep suggesting. What Valve should REALLY do is recode their client from scratch because at the point they've reached with it the performance of it only gets worse and worse as time goes on. They should also restructure the company to actually have something more resembling a traditional management style but more lax than usual. Their management style works for small teams but the bigger your company gets the more inefficient such a style is going to get and it's all but guaranteed that you're going to get people abusing the ability to basically do what they want as well as having issues with bugfixing because no one is going to want to bother with it. If the only one with any real command power in the company is Gabe which is what it seems to be from my understanding then he would only be able to properly manage maybe a couple dozen people at most. Valve has several hundred employees.
Suits is basically just Mad Men
I think milkandcooki is alright alot of the time. Antisemitism is not something that was made up as part of a Jewish conspiracy for world domination.
Antisemitism is not something that was made up as part of a Jewish conspiracy for world domination.
Is that an unpopular opinion? Well, maybe if the majority of people you talk to are avid stormfront posters. edit: somehow I posted ponters rather than posters. What's a ponter?
Antisemitism is not something that was made up as part of a Jewish conspiracy for world domination.
It's terrifying how many people can justify antisemitism, even today and in this forum in places.
I skip over anything anime related, especially in LMAO pics. I really dont understand any of it...
What's a ponter?
Apparently a French word. :v:
bridge / pɔ.te / transitive and intransitive group 1 ( conjugation ) (Game) Being egg , play , bet money against the banker . Pokemon is not/was not that fun.
Pokemon is not/was not that fun.
not really much of an unpopular opinion really I can understand why people enjoy it because of the nostalgia and such, but to be honest in my opinion I cant get into it and dont think I ever will. not my type of thing really.
Pokemon is almost unarguably just a terrible game series, it's a wonder people play it for non-nostalgia reasons after elementary or middle school. Grindy, no challenge, no curveballs, same goal over 15+ games, same story over 15+ games, and there is literally zero narrative.
I couldn't get into pokemon As soon as they went past the 151 mark I said "nope fuck that" those were my exact words when I was 5
I couldn't get into pokemon As soon as they went past the 151 mark I said "nope fuck that" those were my exact words when I was 5
both my brothers were in to it, but they are like 8 years older then me so I wasnt really around when they would play it non stop. never understood the fascination though.
Pokemon is maybe the grandfather of "game-ification". Attract players with growing numbers, a sense of progression, and an easily surmountable challenge while simultaneously rewarding the player with compliments and implications that they're amazing.
yu gi oh is and always be better the Pokemon
Pokemon is maybe the grandfather of "game-ification". Attract players with growing numbers, a sense of progression, and an easily surmountable challenge while simultaneously rewarding the player with compliments and implications that they're amazing.
You really have no idea about pokemon, do you? The games to most people have never been about the story. It's just a means to an end. Fill up your national dex, breed a shiny (pre-gen6), breed me a perfect six-IV pokemon and EV train them (again, pre-gen6), fight a competitive battle and then come back and tell me there's no challenge. The curveballs don't really come from the story or main part of the game for the most part, they come from under the surface. Gen6 changed the way breeding and EV training worked and also halved the shiny value and tweaked a lot of different values of older pokemon and moves. The games are complex, you just have to make them for yourself. Next to no one plays them for "nostalgia". Go give the Pokemon General thread the same opinion, see how it goes over.
