I would consider super low player counts as 1 player games. Which I would also argue are plenty fun. :v:

Oh, I should clarify that I mean multiplayer games.
imo it really depends on the game. games like battlefield can be really fun with a shitload of people, and SAMP (san andreas multiplayer) was absolutely fantastic with lots of players, but when i play stuff like tf2, i always go for servers with ~16 people max
when i play stuff like tf2, i always go for servers with ~16 people max
Likewise, though in the case of ctf_turbine, the server should have no more than 12 people ideally.
When it comes to multiplayer, Games with super high player counts (like 64) are not fun. Games with super low player counts (1v1) are not fun.
The games I've been playing lately are Planetside 2 and Hearthstone so I really disagree :v:
But really it depends on what you want from a game. 1v1 is all about competition and challenging other players to see who's the best. Small/medium player counts are about teamwork, where both coordination and the individual skill of the players matter. And high player counts are about cool shit happening everywhere, and being able to do what you want because your team doesn't really rely on you.
Stories should focus less on overarching narrative and instead focus on interesting characters within an interesting world. Especially If it's a story for a game. There are too many games that throw in a shitty story, shitty characters and a shitty world... Entertainment should be created with one sentence in mind:
Do it right or don't do it at all.
I secretly think Hawaiian shirts look kinda cool.
South african accents, however, totally awful.
y'all is a great word
This is only true when the placement of the apostrophe is correct. If someone types out "ya'll" or even just "yall", they should consider removing their fingers with a rusty spoon.
I like sitcoms
Seinfeld, Frasier, Friends, Big Bang Theory. They're all fun to watch.
Age of Empires is terrible

Sharlto Copley in Elysium is has one sexy motherfucking accent. Are you saying you don't think so?
Considering everyone's disappointment in discovering she is a lesbian...
Ellen Page is not that hot. Not saying she's unattractive, but she's not worth getting worked up over...

I feel like the only person who doesn't really care about her coming out.

Totally agree with this.
I think 4v4, 5v5 are the best, with 6v6 or 8v8 being the max. Really depend on the scale of the game, though.
Honestly, I don't think teaching evolution should be mandatory in American-style highschools. I simply don't think it's actually necessary to be going into the origin of the species and universe when the majority of the people there aren't actually going to end up in a field where that is actually relevant.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I don't believe in evolution, but you don't have to understand the origins of mankind to be a programmer, or a football player, or an office worker. It's just not something that people really need to cover, but I'm all for it being in elective classes, and I don't support teaching creationism in public schools at all as it's a breach of separation of church and state.
And besides, highschool is more about picking up life-skills than actually prepping for a career. Career knowledge is picked up in Uni or College.
Except for when there's almost zero life skills you can learn in a high school since your schedule will be chock full of these other classes which don't teach life skills. Only time we learned about balancing a checkbook and taxes was one day in the sixth grade.

It's part of required biology courses, so it should be taught.
It's part of required biology courses, so it should be taught.
My point is it shouldn't be, highschool schedules are already excessively bogged down with irrelevant required courses that most people will never need, personally I think that quite a few of those courses need to be cut down, and the logical place to start is the controversial ones.
Also, the "this is how it has been" excuse is an idiotic one because by that standard nothing should ever be changed.
If any upcoming PC game needs a TF2 promo, it's Age of Wonders 3.
If people aren't taught evolution they're more likely to pick up creationist views or something else that's stupid.
People believe the first things they're told.

It'd be a pretty dumb world (in more than one way) if we only learned the bare minimum of what we needed to.

imo every student should be taught the basics of most things, so they can choose any profession they like. Evolution is core to biology and its great to show the scientific method.

So assume you do need biology in College for your career. Would you prefer the leg up you got in a required basic bio class in High school that gives you a basic understanding of the material, or would you rather not have that. And just because you don't 'need' something, doesn't mean you won't ever want to know it. Part of getting an education is learning things you don't want to, or don't think you'll ever need to know. As well, very few people I know didn't know what they wanted to do as a career until this year, our senior year.
Like I plan on going into Archeology, and did I really 'need' that Bio class? Nah. But did I enjoy it, and come out with more knowledge then I did before? Yes.

The way highschools work around here is that students have considerable opportunities to try and learn what they want, and avoid things that they don't think they need, because most of the basics have already been covered by junior year. I'm proposing making classes that cover things like that be elective courses so a student can take them if they're interested or feel they want to go into that career field, but avoid them if they'd prefer to take more courses in an area that's actually relevant to them. I very explicitly said I think it should be available in an elective course:
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I don't believe in evolution, but you don't have to understand the origins of mankind to be a programmer, or a football player, or an office worker. I've said this before here: don't put words in my mouth because you dislike the ones already there. If you want to make an argument out of this don't resort to denial and strawmans.
I think people should be able to believe whatever the fuck they want. Whether it's evolution, creationism, Islam, Christianity, pacifism, psychopathy, etc., why should you or I give a shit?

That's a bit different from the rest, don't you think
That's a bit different from the rest, don't you think
Yeah, but like I said, anything.
So long as they're prepared for the consequences.

I'm all up for letting others live their own life as they please, but even if they would be prepared for the consequences, if their beliefs include harming others/forcing their belief on others (not influencing, forcing) then I think they should go fuck themselves.
