I prefer jump scares to psychological horror because psych horror doesn't affect me as much as a skeleton jumping out of the bushes yelling oogaboogaboo
I find it very difficult to take posters with anime avatars seriously, especially if it's of a little girl.
I actually really like Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns. That's the unpopular opinion. The other two games in the series are pretty shit and that's more along the lines of something everyone agrees on.

Tales series > Final Fantasy
The Darwin Awards are barbaric
They are but honestly sometimes they're just so absurd that you can't help but laugh at them. When someone does something so outright stupid that you know it's going to end badly the moment you start reading about it they've kinda brought it on themselves. Though I would definitely say profiting off the deaths of others, even if it's somewhat funny, is definitely questionably moral at best.
Honestly I think everyone's too strict with 'ethics'. So long as you don't physicaly harm people without consent or create long term humiliation: it's ethical. Partialy complaining because my school assignment's data collection wasn't deemed 'ethical'. (I'd record spoken english from foreigner strangers that pass by) Thing is we live in england. There's more security cameras and public surveillance on this small land than there is on the rest of the continent combined.
I like and use Windows 8.
I use Windows 8 and I don't mind it, but the built in Skype app is a piece of shit, horrendous layout and whenever you minimize it, it mutes the mic and audio. Why did they make it like that!?
I would use Google Hangout over Skype if I could, but none of my friends use it I just like all the features it has that Skype doesn't, like more than 2 people can have video and you can do drawings and games n shit You can't draw dicks while people are talking in Skype
On the topic of Skype, if an instant messaging program has more performance issues than a hardware-intense game, then there's something very, very wrong.
Steam voice chat is better then skype IMO
Steam voice chat is better then skype IMO
The one advantage Skype has over Steam when it comes to voice chat is that Steam has a noticeable delay between what you say and what the other person hears, whereas Skype has next to no delay at all.
I'm an American and I love salt licorice. My Dutch colleagues seemed surprised by this.
This probably has been said before in this thread but I just want to say that I've never had any real fun with the Mass Effect games. The first one showed some promise but ME2 and ME3 where sooo disappointing.
I think pokemon look really really really stupid, a lot of them are just animals with a different colours, some make you question whether the artists had any inspiration left or not, and then there's a few that look like they were made to pander to the furry fandom or something. They obviously weren't but the way the furry fandom over obsesses over them is just weird. I just dislike pokemon in general

The series started out with creatures you might actually find in the wild and now we're out in the fields capturing swords and ice cream cones and making them battle refrigerators and other household appliances.
Ah yes because I expect to find giant piles of living slime out in the wild.
I hate multiplayer in gmod.
Ah yes because I expect to find giant piles of living slime out in the wild.
yes well a pile of slime is a more believable monster than a household appliance believe it or not [editline]18th February 2014[/editline] they ran out of shit to make, just like how the CoD series ran out of shit to do.
Anyone who pronounces "Beta" as "Beeta" is wrong and stupid and lame and smells* bad
Anyone who pronounces "Beta" as "Beeta" is wrong and stupid and lame and smalls bad
Well, at least they don't large bad.
I love Micheal Bay's Transformers movies.
Anyone who pronounces "Beta" as "Beeta" is wrong and stupid and lame and smalls bad
yeah......all 4 people in the world
yeah......all 4 people in the world
You'd be shocked how often I hear it.
Anyone who pronounces "Beta" as "Beeta" is wrong and stupid and lame and smalls bad
Pretty sure it's a British/Australian thing. Accents and all. Not once have I heard an American say "beeta", but I've heard plenty of my UK-based friends say "beeta".
The one advantage Skype has over Steam when it comes to voice chat is that Steam has a noticeable delay between what you say and what the other person hears, whereas Skype has next to no delay at all.
Skype has better sound quality too
It just went downhill, that's all. Gen one had lots of stuff that's NOT that. yeah, found one of these in my back yard the other day.
Anyone who pronounces "Beta" as "Beeta" is wrong and stupid and lame and smalls bad
i used to pronounce it "better" before i discovered it was "bayta"
Pretty sure it's a British/Australian thing. Accents and all. Not once have I heard an American say "beeta", but I've heard plenty of my UK-based friends say "beeta".
Never heard it in Australia Its more of a stupid dumb person thing
The way it's spelt: it should sound more like 'better'. However sometimes people pronounce it like 'beyta' / 'baita'. It's weird.
i used to pronounce it "better" before i discovered it was "bayta"
I used to say Co-op as coop oop when I was like 8.
