Minecraft's still a decent game.
1. I actually enjoyed Modern Warfare 2 and 3's campaigns.
2. Halo 2 actually was a good game with a great ending.
How can you compare both games? It's absolutely nonsensical. Far Cry 2 was great though, I liked the combat but some of the features were just annoying and timewaster, also the game got so repetitive, the voice acting did not help either.
I know it's a little fatuous but there was definitely something in it's obstinacy that called to mind a hardcore JRPG. I'm satisfied in the unpopularity of my opinion though.
I find indignant atheists much more annoying than any christian I've ever met.
I think Mass Effect 3's ending is fine. I however think Bioshock Infinite's is utter shit.
I also don't like the Beatles.
The ending to Inception wasn't all that amazing or mind-fucking, it was just a cheap tease.
(Not saying the movie was bad though)
pokemon gen3 (ruby/sapphire/emerald) is my least favourite of all of them. i thought the first gen4 games were a huge improvement in a lot of ways and heartgold/soulsilver was pretty much the perfect pokemon game
Ratings aren't important at all
But you gotta admit, it feels kind of oddly when someone rates you Dumb for no reason.
It's like if you were telling a joke to a group of friends and someone comes and say "Shut up", and leaves.
Riven: Sequel to Myst gave me more of a feeling of exploration than any modern game I've played up to now.

It also doesn't mean you're actually caring about ratings when someone does that and you ask for an explanation despite what people believe. Of course if someone rates me dumb and there's no reason for it that I can think of I'm going to ask why. Regardless of whether they aren't important, ratings are there for a purpose and people more or less do use it for that purpose.
I can't stand playing Myst more than 5 minutes at a time.

The thread title is unpopular opinions. That being said: I think gen3 was the real best, the only reason it went over poorly was the lack of gen2's day/night system.

Gen 3 was the last generation I played and actually enjoyed. I tried gen 4 but ended up getting stuck fairly early on and didn't particularly care for it even up to that point. I really dislike the 3d engine they've changed to using.
i don't like pokemon anymore
i stopped when i turned eight and now i find it really obnoxious when full grown adults talk about it (a lot)
it's like mlp, you're not a child anymore what are you doing talking about this all the fucking time.

this wasn't directed at any of you guys just to be clear.
Fahrenheit is best temperature scale.
I don't find the faces in Oblivion to be too bad.
I will agree there are bad ones, but the majority of them aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be.

heheheheh
Now ones like that are bad.
I'm just talking about people in the base game, player created characters don't count.
Pod filters are stupid and if you put one in your car then you're stupid, however you might get a performance increase if your car has an intercooler. At least if you replace the exhaust on your car with a sportier one that actually does something, letting the exhaust flow out more freely and reducing back pressure.

in my experience most pokemon fans hate everything after gen3.
i think the 3D graphics are fine, and the gen4 pokemon are better than gen3 imo. it's really a matter of preference in that regard but i've always preferred the tanky legendarys, like lugia, so platinum was great with giratina (and the area you catch giratina is cool as shit), and even the other offensive legendarys in the other versions are more interesting than kyogre and groudon, even though permaweather is pretty cool. there's also nothing more enjoyable than using much needed evolutions of pokemon from previous gens like electivire, dusknoir, magnezone, togekiss, roserade etc.

I agree, the only character in the game though that had a weird-ass face was Vicente Valtieri (imo)
I didn't care for Portal 2.
I loved the first one though.
In the same sense, complexity is wholly undesirable, but depth is very desirable. Being complex to understand is not the same as having many easy-to-understand options and choices available to you, that all make sense to the core gameplay.

I see what you're saying, but I would say that complex is good, and complicated is bad. If that makes sense. Which I doubt.
The imperial system of measurement is stupid and pointless.
It's not a good idea to cling onto obsolescence for the sake of tradition.
Playing music isn't creative until you play your own song.
If an artist paints a copy of someone else's painting, he is not showing any kind of originality.
There lies no creative talent in playing someone else's song. It's just a skill of hand.

I can tell that my opinion would be considered unpopular by the massive chunk of FP users that are from America.

Two things:
1. We do use metrics for a lot of things here, we just happen to also use imperials because switching over all your units of measure is not exactly easy.
2. I'd say most of the Americans here are pretty anti-US so I don't think you'll have to worry about them.

a vast percentage of the world would agree with you though.
On page 6 (and perhaps further on, I haven't read after that) very few people seem to understand what atheism and agnosticism means. Atheism is the lack of belief in a God or Gods. Agnosticism is the lack of knowledge that there is a God or Gods. The two aren't mutually exclusive.
