I support the idea of killing off everybody but 500 million people.
Then I can state without argument that you lack imagination.
This is how I feel about the Nintendo 3DS. That thing just hurts my hands to hold, especially over time. But since its nintendo all of you are going to attack me. But I find DS4 controllers to be alright.
The one design feature about the 3DS that I hate is how the joystick and the d-pad are positioned. It should be the d-pad on top and the joystick on the bottom. Or just completely removed. They should make 3DS models with no joystick. Also, the 2DS was a blatantly retarded idea. It's just a 3DS with the 3D switch removed and it looks uglier than the Virtual Boy.
I honestly thought SR4 was really boring: the driving mechanics were broken for me (if you even bothered driving considering your superpowers made cars redundant), it felt like the map became considerably smaller after you get superpowers and the main story just became a grind after a while. I'm just glad I played it during a Steam free weekend. I don't know how people can think it's better than GTAV.
Uh, that's a popular opinion. Also I never said it was better than GTAV. I just said it wasn't the fucking horrible disgrace everyone says it was. I didn't go into it expecting SR2 again after playing SR3. Honestly, if I didn't love SR3+'s driving so much, I wouldn't have even been so offended by the superpowers that weren't optional. I mean, I'm buying one anyway to hang out with my hip friends who play Pokemon all day and it's cheaper than a 3DS, but really, I'd rather play my GBA SP [editline]6th March 2014[/editline]
too low for anyone with big hands
Works fine for me. I guess it depends how exactly you hold it.
I think transgender people or people who think they're the opposite sex stuck in their sex's body are homosexuals.
But what about when they're into people of the same sex that they identify as?
I support the idea of killing off everybody but 500 million people.
You can go first if you'd like.
I support the idea of killing off everybody but 500 million people.
what do you think this will even accomplish?
I think transgender people or people who think they're the opposite sex stuck in their sex's body are homosexuals.
From my understanding of transgenderism they actually have the brain of the opposite sex despite having their body's sex because of some weird shit happening during birth.
I questioned that too when I saw Mrs. Garrison scissoring Xerxes in that episode of South Park.
If you take away life lessons and logic from South Park then there is something wrong with you
Also doesn't it not fold? Like wtf? Without folding, the 2DS is far less compact than its 3D superiors and you'll have to spend money on screen protectors if you don't want the screens to get scratched up if you have to store it in your backpack or something.
Doesn't matter. The 360 pad's lower stick is still higher up than the DS4's. The DS4's analogue sticks are positioned too low for anyone with big hands. It's physically uncomfortable for me. Pull your thumbs back as far as they can go while keeping the fingertips forward, and keep them there. That's how it feels for me to place my thumbs on the sticks. It's not natural, it's not comfortable. It's either i keep my fingers on the trigger and hold my thumbs awkwardly, or keep my thumbs on the sticks and have my fingers positioned awkwardly. And keep in mind the way I pull my thumbs back means they are on the stick at an angle, meaning move my left thumb forward moves me at a right angle instead of, you know, forward.
I think we need a clear definition of holding. Are you practically strangling the controller with your hand or are you having a loose grip like I do? Also, Xbox controller sucks. Messes up my symmetrical hands. If you're gonna have the left analog higher than the d pad, why not make the right analog higher than the buttons?
The only reason why I like the Xbox controller more than the Playstation controller is because the joystick positioning feels a lot like a Nintendo GameCube controller (character movement is top left, camera control is bottom right), which I'm very familiar with using.
I think we need a clear definition of holding. Are you practically strangling the controller with your hand or are you having a loose grip like I do?
Just holding it lax grip. I need to have my thumbs bent to a point that feels deliberate, not natural, just to position them on the sticks. I'm not saying it's a problem for everyone, just me because I have unnaturally big hands.
Also, Xbox controller sucks. Messes up my symmetrical hands. If you're gonna have the left analog higher than the d pad, why not make the right analog higher than the buttons?
You say this as though its impossible to hold your hands two different ways. Besides, I'm not just saying "The Dual Shock 4 is worse because the sticks aren't laid out like the Xbox's", I'm saying "The Dual Shock 4 is worse because the sticks are positioned too low" If the xbox's right stick was even lower, like the DS4's, it'd bother me.
I think the xbox 360 controller is one of the best controllers out there. No controller has ever appealed to me as much like this one. The only major complaint that I have is that the dpad is absolutely shite.

I've tried all sorts of DualShocks 1-4 and I'm going to have to agree those suck. The gap in the cross pad feels uncomfortable and like it would hurt the thumb given some time and the sticks are too far to reach for my tiny little hands.
I'm just gonna hope we get an Xbox Pad-like 3rd party PS4 controller.
Soft drink fountains should have club soda. What? I like having a sparkling fruitopia!
I think the concept for this thread is to have the most decisive/controversial opinion to see people's reactions, and like I said before, in order to win, you need to make the most politically incorrect post rather than the opinion of this separate society
I thought that this thread is for opinions you agree with, but you'd get laughed out for believing in those opinions. :x I think we need a thread similar to this, except dealing with morally questionable topics.
I think we need a thread similar to this, except dealing with morally questionable topics.
Isn't that what Mass Debate is designed for?
Also, I think recreational alcohol and drugs are horrible; and should never be used. I don't see the big deal with alcohol. You drink it, then get a headache the next day. People say they drink to forget whatever depression they have, or to be more fun. I don't want to forget my mistakes because it makes me a stronger person in the end; and I can make stupid fun decisions without alcohol. I see videos and pictures of drunk people; and that what puts me off the most about the drink. I still don't have a good enough plan if I ever go to a college party though. I don't want to drink a spiked drink, and I don't want the looming peer pressure when I decline alcohol.
It sounds like the only experience you have with alcohol is talking to binge drinkers.
Alcohol is just another drink.
Yes, precisely. And in many of its forms it is very delicious, even completely disregarding its intoxicating effect!
Also doesn't it not fold? Like wtf? I mean, I'm buying one anyway to hang out with my hip friends who play Pokemon all day and it's cheaper than a 3DS, but really, I'd rather play my GBA SP
The 3ds normally has three screens. Two for the 3d screen then a single one for the other screen. The 2ds is so much cheaper because it only has one screen but the catch is that since it's only one screen it can't fold.
Yes, precisely. And in many of its forms it is very delicious, even completely disregarding its intoxicating effect!
I think the taste of alcohol is bad, though that's just personal choice and actually has very little to do with my reluctance to drink alcohol.

It still has a top and a bottom screen like every other DS model. There is literally no valid reason why the 2DS is designed to remain a flat, square brick at all times.
What do you mean "only one screen"? It still has a top and a bottom screen like every other DS model.
No. It may function as two screens and may be separated by the plastic over the top of it but internally it's one single screen.
That just sounds even more pants-on-head retarded. There wasn't anything wrong with the way the previous DS models handled the dual screen feature. Folding made them compact for easy storage and transport. It even made for better protection from screen scratches or crumbs/dust falling into the nooks and crannies between buttons. I've always been a fan of Nintendo and their games, but when it comes to their systems, everything beyond the GameCube/Wii and the DS Lite just boggles my mind sometimes.

Yes, it's less portable but that's irrelevant to their goal for the 2ds.
