I think the Prequel Trilogy for Star Wars was actually pretty good.
I like 2 and 3, I think the actual fighting when you see it is far more interesting than the other movies.
trans people who don't get an operation are wannabes and attention whores
because everyone has money in abundance and medical insurance. then again, trans identities are a lot more complex than that.
I heavily enjoyed Episode II :v:

I like 2 and 3, I think the actual fighting when you see it is far more interesting than the other movies.
I'm so glad I'm not the only person that thought so.
I like 2 and 3, I think the actual fighting when you see it is far more interesting than the other movies.
I really enjoyed the Geonosis battles, I felt that they were a nice vision of the scale in Star Wars
Jesus christ GTA V is a fucking piece of shit game, almost all of the characters are shit, the controls are god-awful, and Rockstar is completely unable to critique and satirize the era they currently live in I'm so glad I got this for 20 bucks, I actually feel sorry for everyone who paid 50 for it at release

That's always an option.

XD". I love GTA4 because it cut down on that, and tried to have an actual story. On a similar note, I don't get why it's so difficult to make a serious, mature crime game. Saint's Row (before 3 at least) was close, but not quite. GTA4 was even better in that right, but still not perfect.
On a similar note, I don't get why it's so difficult to make a serious, mature crime game.
In my opinion, Mafia II is one of the best crime games.
I think the Prequel Trilogy for Star Wars was actually pretty good.
I agree :D
In my opinion, Mafia II is one of the best crime games.
Mafia and Mafia 2 are excellent games, Though I've yet to beat the second one. They manage to lightly satirize the era the game takes place in (radio commercials talking about "doctors smoke X Brand cigarettes!" and the like) while still being serious and mature games.

It also has its serious moments on the radio, such as [sp]when Auschwitz is liberated[/sp] and your various mission aftermaths. It has memorable characters that you feel/hate/love.

I really do like Totalbiscuit for his honest opinions and general knowledge about the gaming industry. Although the quality of his content has really decreased recently, he just seems like an uber elitist now and he bashes everything way to much, even for my taste. I can't take him serious anymore.
I like TB's overly critical style, he spots loads of faults, minor or not, and analyses them thoroughly. It doesn't matter if I disagree with him or not, since he gives a very clear view of the game there is nothing left to chance whether I'm going to enjoy the game or not. You're not supposed to take his views as the absolute judgement whether the game is good or not. See the all the dozen things he criticises and see if you can overlook them.
Why are people so sarcastic here? I swear, most of the time when people are arguing they default to sarcasm. It makes you look like a tool.
You don't even hold this opinion, you're doing it to get a reaction :v:
i sure do get kicks out of annoying normalfags, you got me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its called 'unpopular opinions' for a reason but outside of these kinda forums it wouldn't be one, however
Honestly, and this is just a general observation and opinion I hold, is that people still look for that 'wow' factor in gaming. Like how everyone talks fondly about starting up a brand new game for the first time and they're amazed at what they see and they're enthralled. I mean, everyone's allowed to have those moments. It shows how down-to-earth we all are, but I think as far as extravagant technological, gameplay and other such achievements go I think everyone's hit the ceiling. And now we're just slowly crawling towards better and better things but we rarely hit milestones nowadays. Maybe that's why I have such low standards in gaming nowadays :v:
I am a pro-government libertarian. I believe that the state should be able to operate without populist interference. Notice how a government's ability to live its life the way it wants to is hampered the more it tries to include the people as part of the political process? The biggest violations of government rights throughout history were committed by angry, unwashed mobs who had too much power. I mean, what's the point in having "the people" anyway? If you pass a law, then they'll just break it eventually. The only viable option is for the state to break away and form its own commune.
I still think Dark Souls 2 is terrible compared to Demon Souls and Dark Souls. It feels like From focused more on quantity than quality.
I think the Prequel Trilogy for Star Wars was actually pretty good.
Episode I doesn't deserve all of the flak it gets. Yes, Jar-Jar was a bad character, and yes, child Anakin was a little annoying (but still not nearly as bad as Hayden Christensen playing an edgy, moody teenager), but in the grand scale of things, it was actually a good movie. The CGI was honestly nice. The politics may bore some viewers but it was pretty commonplace during that era of the Galactic Republic so it fits in very well. Ewan McGregor made a fantastic Obi-Wan Kenobi, and who can't forget Liam Neeson playing Qui-Gon Jinn? Not to mention the Battle for Naboo and the lightsaber duel with Darth Maul rivaling almost every large-scale action sequence that we had seen in any Star Wars movie thus far. I watched Episode I in theaters when I was only five or six years old, and my parents had me watch The Original Trilogy like a year or two before it was released before any of you go "hurr he saw ep 1 first his experience was ruined!!!!!". As a child, I may not have understood all of the plot details and stuff from each movie because the action and adventure and the visuals were just so amazing and enticing to my developing brain. But even as a nineteen year-old, experienced adult, I still appreciate and enjoy Episode I just as much as the other movies, especially now that I obviously understand what's going on and why. TL;DR - Star Wars Episode I was good.
If there was one thing I liked about the prequel trilogy it's that they showed more of the "war" parts. You can easily argue that it was all just CGI crap and didn't really add anything to the movies, but I feel that they did a better job of showing that there was actually a war going on than the original trilogy did.
Shrek jokes, 2spooky jokes are all unfunny as sin. I can't take Vocaloid, J/Pop as serious music genres.
Shrek jokes, 2spooky jokes are all unfunny as sin. I can't take Vocaloid, J/Pop as serious music genres.
Vocaloid yeah but I kinda get some J-Pop.
Shrek jokes, 2spooky jokes are all unfunny as sin. I can't take Vocaloid, J/Pop as serious music genres.
vocaloid isn't a music genre, its an instrument
I really like vocaloid music, so much so that i've been slowly modding max payne 3 to consist entirely of bright pink colors and a vocaloid soundtrack [editline]16th April 2014[/editline] the stigma against anime made after the 90s on the internet has always confused me because there still is a lot of good stuff out there; people are just too afraid to try things that exist outside of the country they live in the entire reason people dislike anime is because "japan is weird" and that's dumb
Been playing FTL off and on for a few days now and I really don't know if I like it or not. I like the general concept of the game but it suffers from horrible contrived dickish difficulty. At the push of the Jump button it is possible to be teleported into a myriad of instant-death situations that you had literally zero warning about. I don't know how many times I've been hit with the fucking 4-mantis intruder spawn during the early game. It's a guaranteed game-over every single time. There is no skill or challenge involved in that. That's just random bullshit luck. I find nothing enjoyable about that.
The fact that your options can often get a character instantly killed has led me to just never try to help anyone if it doesn't involve a straight up firefight. The Advanced Edition also added hacking, which is fucking bullshit because it shuts down a system with no way to remove it, so if your weapons get hacked and you have no drones you're instantly fucked. [editline]16th April 2014[/editline]
I still think Dark Souls 2 is terrible compared to Demon Souls and Dark Souls. It feels like From focused more on quantity than quality.
I don't think Dark Souls 2 is terrible but From definitely focused on quantity over quality, there are a shit load of areas compared to the older games but they're all a lot smaller, with much simpler paths and some terrible bonfire placement, like having a bonfire right next to a group of enemies or in a completely useless area.
Fuck being ashamed for liking something if no one gets hurt, other than dipshits that can turn away.
Pugs aren't cute they're weird looking the other day some girl showed me a picture of a pug that was OMG SO CUTE and it took me a few seconds to register that it was a pug because I actually thought she was showing me some deformed birth-defect dog or something

Like, good work syncing them up... but it SOOO doesn't fit. And truthfully, the whole reason people dislike anime is because some people like it TOO much, like there's a bunch of really great anime shows/movies out there, but there are way more shit ones. Just like how there's a bunch of great american shows/movies out there, but there are way more shit ones. And the problem is, too many anime fans just like EVERYTHING anime.
