people who make stupid posts like this are more annoying and terrible than the people they're trying to insult/zing/call out, whatever. like, are some people so fucking angry that they have to bring up the people they don't like all the time? i mostly see this in rangergxi threads where he randomly links to weird blog about "fat pride" in the OP of his thread for some crazy reason.
Also the fedora tipping posts, and posts calling people edgy that doesn't really do anything.
But that's where the fun is at.
Also the fedora tipping posts, and posts calling people edgy that doesn't really do anything.
Sometimes, those posts are necessary.
Sometimes, those posts are necessary.
not really, they're pretty cliche and unfunny and just make the thread devolve into shitposting
Agreed, alcoholic drinks are shit.
Here comes JohnnyMo right around the corner. I can hear him now, preparing. Also, I feel like independent video games/movies/music/whatever get way to overvalued online. Like, just because something is independently made, suddenly it is treated on better merits than a triple-A game or a big budget movie. I see where they are coming from because they have limited reasons, but it feels like flaws are often overlooked because "it is independent". Sorry, but even smaller-scale devs can make shit games too. For example, I don't like Paradox Interactive. Hell, they barely qualify as being independent now that they are a large publisher, but even back when they were a small-time dev company, I never liked them. Their games have numerous flaws that tend to go overlooked, and they almost always leave out parts of their game to sell later as $20.00 DLC. Just look at CKII's page. It is filled with DLC, a lot of which is necessary to play every faction and therefore have a complete game. That doesn't mean their games are bad by any means, but that business model is kind of shit and there are some problems with their games that do get overlooked "because independent".
TF2 has become utter shit. It's a shade of the great game it once was. TF2 was at it's absolute finest when it was still doing those class updates, and right before it just flooded everything with hats. Back when it was still doing those updates, you had your base class and your alternate class, then it had focus, it had art direction, it was still tight and every class had a clear role. Now it's just a mishmash of ideas, clutter, and it looks really ugly with all those terribly unfitting hats and weapons, and classes overlap with other classes far too often.
That's not very unpopular.

When was the last time you heard anyone saying "I really like how TF2 is now, hats rulez!"
the only redeeming factor of TF2 in my opinion, are the comics.
How is that an unpopular opinion? When was the last time you heard anyone saying "I really like how TF2 is now, hats rulez!"
I'm saying that TF2 is not just not a good game, it's a bad game. Not just "in comparison" bad.
I Think steam greenlight is a piece of shit and most of the games that get accepted are shit , there are some exeptions on some games , but im talking in the majority
And those very few games that are actually good would have made it on the steam store without greenlight. Being completely honest, greenlight was most likely made because Valve is lazy and don't want to do quality control at all, pushing it onto the community, which has proven that it doesn't work.
I Think release date gaps between consoles / country's / anything else is very stupid , even more when you already have the thing working on both areas
It's even worse with music. Like Sabaton's new album comes out on the 16th of May in Europe, 19th in the UK, and THE 27TH IN THE US. WHYYY
I Think gold should be earned by post amount and not by purchase , ive seen some 10 posts gold members out there
When someone explains a joke, the joke itself is ruined in the situation.
Refusing to vote and then whining about your government not representing your views is extremely contradictory, counter-intuitive, and just dumb in general.
Living an enjoyable life is better than living for as long as you possibly can
I'd rather eat plain nachos than Doritos.
i mostly see this in rangergxi threads where he randomly links to weird blog about "fat pride" in the OP of his thread for some crazy reason.
He only seems to post threads to take a subtle dig at things like feminism and hopes no one will notice.
Most game developer are too lazy and take the linear route when it comes to maps. There should be a bit of an open-world element, give the player a sense of their environment and what it looks like, instead of locking every door and blocking every window, let the player explore.
I really don't understand the market for gaming keyboards.
I really don't understand the market for gaming keyboards.
i don't either. i can totally understand the market for mechanical keyboards (unicomp, daskeyboard, etc), but gaming-centric keyboards just seem weird to me
Pants without pockets are a crime against humanity.
Although it might not be an area that is familiar with many people, I think the hip-hop scene in Australia is pretty bad.
I Think gold should be earned by post amount and not by purchase , ive seen some 10 posts gold members out there
It used to be that way, but you joined way after that came to an end. Should've come sooner.
Game Developers should allocate themselves more time (like more months) to better improve the games. For example, Battlefield 4 was rushed, and looked how buggy it was at launch.

I don't exactly hear a lot of people say those things.

Its the fact that it only updates, maybe twice a year at most now. What was the last real update? Two cities?
This isn't really an opinion, more of a belief, but I believe people are attracted to things like anime because they are beyond the social norm and it is simply a way of getting attention, and not because they genuinely like those things. That doesn't mean everybody who watches anime or whatever is like that, but it feels like the majority is there only for the added attention. It also doesn't mean people who join for that attention don't start to actually like some of the stuff they watch (because there is good anime after all). It is just clear to me that people like weird shit because "hey guys I like this weird shit". And weird shit doesn't necessarily mean "weird", just out of the norm. It is the same principle with all the brony shit; most of those people wanted attention and needed a community in which they can fit. It is just human nature to constantly drive for attention and to find companionship with similar people. It probably should be popular, but a shitload of people just deny that flat out and say the only reason they watch it is because they like it. Never mind that anime, like most other things, is mostly comprised of garbage yet they still watch it religiously (and yes I know that is subjective but let us be honest here; 80% of everything can be seen as shit by anybody. I refuse to believe people can even like the majority, let alone all of one medium)
