Also the combat is so boring. The selling point is the loot.
Says the guy with the 40k avatar.
Just because I think a lot of Firefly fans are annoying doesn't mean I don't like Firefly. Just because I like 40k doesn't mean I don't think a lot of 40k fans are annoying.
I didn't mind Resident Evil 6 at all, I think it was better than 5 at least. I really don't think it was as bad as everyone says it was. It wasn't any dumber than any other RE game and I had quite a bit of fun with it. It was a solid third person action romp. Yes, it's true that it wasn't a survival horror game at all, but I'd argue that the series hasn't been survival horror for a long time. Even RE4 was only barely holding on to that imo.
Reddit isn't as bad as people think and in fact the users there are very similar to facepunch users.
I don't really understand the hate towards Cars 2, yeah Planes, Planes 2, and any potential Cars 3 are all just absurd, but Cars 2 itself wasn't that bad.
I don't think Deus Ex: Invisible War is nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Sure, it definitely pales in comparison to Deus Ex, but it is in no way a bad game, in my opinion.
Borderland's 2 was a great game, and anyone that bitches about the "over-saturation of meme jokes" in the game are straight GODS at bitching about insignificant problems.
The only thing I like about Borderlands is the art style and the soundtrack, but aside from that I find it relatively boring.
No matter how brilliant most desktop (obviously this doesn't apply to servers, in which case I think the complete opposite) Linux distributions are, they just can't get up to par with Windows (whether it be something as important compatibility or something as small as font rendering).
I liked Iron Man 2.
Reddit isn't as bad as people think and in fact the users there are very similar to facepunch users.
how bad do we people think reddit is?
Reddit isn't as bad as people think and in fact the users there are very similar to facepunch users.
I haven't really seen much reddit hate lately. Also I hate how it's organized.
Top lel, nostalgia, (random image macro)
See that's your problem, you're just looking at the default subs.
if you hate reddit it's probably because you're browsing /r/all
if you hate reddit it's probably because you're browsing /r/all
/r/music is beyond terrible
Top lel, nostalgia, (random image macro)
You're definitely in the wrong subreddits if there isn't a rule against memes and other "low quality posts". And even if it's not explicitly stated, there's probably even an unwritten rule about it. They usually get downvoted to oblivion.
I liked San Andreas the least out of the 3D Universe trilogy. I think 3 and VC were the better one.

(Although I don't think it's as bad as others usually think it is.)

I find posts like this stupid
Sorry but, why do you get mad over a rating, a pixel?
Ratings are here specifically so you can tell your opinion on a post without having to clutter the entire thread with silly "yeah, I agree" posts. Then people act like you shouldn't care when someone rates you dumb for absolutely no fucking reason. "Why do people care when someone posts a written reply saying you're dumb? It is only a bunch of pixels" is a dumbshit argument but it is just the same as with ratings..
Why do people care when they get punched in the face? It's only an action
I really like the Star Wars prequels. I love both sets of movies equally, but it always annoys me when people whine about the prequels. Sure, there's various things wrong with them, but equally is true with the original trilogy. I especially hate the over-CGI'd complaints people always bring up in regards to the prequels. Going back and watching the original trilogy, I just don't understand how people could prefer plastic halloween masks to fairly decent CGI. I have a very hard time immersing myself in a setting whose alien life is plagued with relatively motionless facial features and rigid plastic body parts. I dunno. I grew up watching both the prequels and the originals, and I love both. The huge battle-droid war at the end of The Phantom Menace just blew me away. The crazy monsters in the arena in episode 2 were great too. The prequels get way too much flak. They were super cool movies.

But when it's nearly completely CGI it hurts the actors' performances as well, as they have to act around objects that don't exist in any shape or form.
The prequels get way too much flak. They were super cool movies.
super cool movies with terrible acting, lack of a consistent tone and horrible (and boring) plots

Gotta love the uncanny valley~ As for the sequels it's probably lowered expectations and the fact that the models aren't really within the uncanny valley. It's much better something look fake than almost real but not quite.
It seems way too easy to stoop down to another person's immaturity. :x
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZRvG-As8bE I'm rooting for Toontown Rewritten, but what needs to happen is the increase in humor and the guting of the drama. There's so much potential for great comedy, but instead they're pushing fanfic level angst. What the christ.
Star Wars Original Trilogy
I hate the trilogy from a directing standpoint most of all; Samuel L Jackson was on the Colbert Report recently and mentioned Lucas's directing style "Alright, Sam, you're fighting" If any of you have done any film directing, fight scenes require incredible precision, down to exactly where and how far apart your feet are at any given time. It's like a dance, but with more corpses at the end. The laziness of Lucas is, to me, fucking insulting to the whole concept of directing

I don't like roguelikes.
