It's not good to hate islam
What makes you say that? That's a pretty big pigeonhole.
Broad paint-strokes get the fence painted quicker, but there are still truckloads of examples. Motley crue's singer, justin bieber, chris brown, ol' dirty bastard, etc.
Yea but at least whatshisface from Motley Crue decided to change his ways after that incident.
Religion doesn't inherently deserve respect. If you hold silly or ignorant beliefs, them being your religion doesn't automatically make them acceptable and above criticism.
At least a good 70% of Skyrim's ENB's look absolutely horrendous. Just horrible. They look like what is known as "filter-rape" Like someone just went into the settings and just changed random numbers and then thinks the result looks "realistic" or whatever.
There are some good ones and I certainly appreciate the time and talent that went into making them look good but most ENB's are just garbage. The most common issue is a really high bloom amount with a small brightness value so everything looks all bloom-blurry but it's all just grey and under-contrasted and horrible. When it's midday and the sun is shining through a clear sky and it looks like it's overcast you know you have fucked something up.
Makes me so annoyed. ENB is so powerful but I can't find a decent looking config for the life of me because it's like an "artsy" 15 year old got hold of photoshop

What gets my goat the most is that Skyrim it's just like groundhog day. Some places, light through a window will cast your shadow, but standing right next to a large bonfire wouldn't. No wonder it's cold and snowy with all this "six more weeks of winter" crap.
I like lil jon
I like lil jon
Are you telling me there's people that don't?
Because if so then....WHAT?
I like lil jon
i literally came into the thread to post this exactly
what the fuck

I mean I'll admit Ice Cube was probably better than Lil Jon in this, but damn, the aggression in this song is unparalleled. I'm fairly sure it's parody though, damn made me laugh.
Metalcore is one of the worst musical genres today.
Eh, some 'metalcore' bands are good, some aren't. Besides, a lot of them you can call 'hardcore' and 'post-hardcore' and it'd still be correct.
While ME3 was the weakest in the series in many ways, it had the best combat and even the best RPG mechanics in the series.
Also the multiplayer was awesome.
I really wish websites would stop using ReCaptcha. I have to refresh it around 10 times before I get one that is even remotely legible.
I understand the point it is trying to serve but when I can't even log into my accounts because your code system is so difficult to read then we have a big problem.
Ive met people who say that when robotic prosthetic technology gets to a certain point they GENUINELY want to remove one of their perfectly healthy arms in place for a prosthetic one.
These people are really unbelievably super mega dumb.

why

My favorite ones are where you get one that's perfectly legible yet you repeatedly get told by the website it's wrong for some reason. This used to happen on Steam's sites constantly for me. It took me around 10 tries just to register my Steam account and even longer for the forums.
why
Because the way I see it the only reason people have the want to hack off their own limb is because they wanna live out some Deus Ex fantasy.
Living without a limb is a life changing experience, even with a robotic prosthetic, and no matter what people want to say to justify it, its not a change for the better.
The advances in prosthetic technology are incredible for the people that need it, but nobody should want to willingly lose a limb. Anyone that thinks otherwise is incredibly naive.

let's say that those robotic prosthetics are advanced enough that it not only feels like a real limb, but is also better than a real one (which is what i assume is the level of advance those people are talking about). they have literally no side effects. why again is this a bad thing?
Then I guess we get down to an argument of personal belief. The way I see it, your body is not something to be replaced unless necessary. The prospect of body augmentation is fascinating to me in the confines of science fiction, but when it edges on the morality of real life and the sanctity of the human body (and no I don't necessarily mean that in a religious way) I just don't feel that replacing your body, your physical self, with something for the sake of it is right.
I suppose others disagree, and while I don't support it, I shouldn't insult them like I did. Im just prone to hyperbole and the like. And I will probably be labeled as hating scientific progress or something, but at the end of the day that's my moral stance on it. It just doesn't sit well with me.
I would never do it, but others? I suppose its their body- their prerogative.
Bacon isn't really all that tasty.
It is kinda overrated

yea but saying that you can't replace your body with "something" sounds silly to me, because your body IS "something". it is nothing but a very, very complicated machine, and your limbs are only part of that machine. replacing those parts with other, improved ones shouldn't have any negative moral implications
I suppose they're both machines, its just to me I'd consider a human arm to deserve more respect than a toaster oven :v:

what about a toaster that can shoot lasers and lift up to 10 tons
Well I can't deny that's rad as shit, but I wouldn't cut my arm off for it.

When I have steamboat pistons for arms you're going to be super jealous.
Well I can't deny that's rad as shit, but I wouldn't cut my arm off for it.
but you wouldn't "cut your arm off". you'd undergo surgery and wake up with an arm that feels EXACTLY like your old one. you're not giving anything away, you're getting something new
Bacon isn't really all that tasty.
What Americans call bacon looks really off putting. I've seen a making of video and it's really processed and filled with artificial flavours.
This is real bacon

Man, I regret spending $10 on Witcher. This game just isn't fun to me. I thought I would enjoy it since I'm into the whole fantasy scene. All I got is nothing but cutscenes every ten seconds, and a weird battle system. It's really... dull, but I do enjoy the lore. But I won't stop playing it til I beat it.
