weird immigration laws
ageing population
much of the banks in switzerland happily handle illegal money, such as tax evaders or dictators
So I've been going on a "Watch all the Star Treks" marathon.
I have completed TOS, TNG, VOY, ENT and am half way through DS9.
Honestly of all of them I disliked TNG the most, am I missing something here?
While it had likable characters, I was too busy hating the annoying characters to notice. Troi and Wesely specifically.
I even didn't care for Riker that much during the first 2 seasons.
Though so far it looks like Ds9 is going to be my favorite.

We have a pleb-tier government, but other than that, America is a really is a nice place to live. As long as you avoid the Bible Belt and Tornado Alley.

Live on the east or west coasts, everything is better near the ocean.
Spicy food that the effect last long is unconfortable

Good luck avoiding either of those though, you're pretty much relegated to the west coast :v:
I live in Indiana, I get to deal with both.
If people seriously want to see the quality of stuff getting on Steam improve then they should stop upvoting the absolute worst of everything for the sake of ~so ironic~

Steam puts a lot of bullshit stuff on there without any greenlight involvement.
Steam puts a lot of bullshit stuff on there without any greenlight involvement.
I won't deny this, but "joke" greenlighting still seems to be where the worst of it comes from.
I don't think the US favors those that take risks anymore. It's so much easier to just live a comfortable and mediocre life than to actually go out and accomplish something or make a lot of money.

I doubt the people who complain about shitty games on Steam are the same as those who upvote said shitty games for laughs.
And I doubt joke upvotes are what cause massive amounts of shit to get accepted on Steam.
People are using this Elliot Rogers kid to further their own beliefs when the kid was just seriously messed up in the head. He wasn't feminist, he wasn't mra or trp, he wasn't left wing, he wasn't right wing. The kid was just a fucking wacko and the meds didn't work.
I don't like the music of today. It feels like noise that sounds all the same. Just a bunch of manufactured noise that's popularity is over in a month before the next big song comes around for another month and so on.
The singers sound the same, the way they sing sounds the same, to me it feels like its all the same boring and bland noise.
Yeah, rock n roll sucks! Damn teenagers in their bobby socks and blue jeans!

New England is safe from most of those areas. Come up here to the good life, brosef.
Steam is terrible and its only saving grace is the sales. The only other reason people are using it is because it's the most popular PC gaming platform there is.

I would argue that his psychosis was deeply rooted in learned misogyny.

why do you think it's terrible
You don't actually own any of your games either.
It's really not good at all yet I have so many games on it and it's sales are great....it's like Valve have a monopoly on it.

I don't think any digital distribution services let you own your games
But yeah, greenlight needs to die. Or they could add a new section for greenlit games specifically, which don't go onto the front page, and then valve can decide whether to move them up or not.
i would argue that steam allowing anyone to put their content on is leveling the playing field, but valve should take some lessons from origin's customer support: it's better
So really, DDSs all suck.

and more lessons from it, such as:
Not taking 5 seconds to scan every link before opening it in your browser
not using an abysmally shitty web browser for their in-game overlay (Good for walkthroughs and guides)
Loading pages in less then 10+ seconds
Starting up and shutting down faster
In generally just being lighter memory-wise
Steam is driving me away from PC gaming with all the horrid bullshit they do. IMO they were the start of the downfall of PC gaming, before the worst was activation limits that usually got patched out, now you can't even play your games without having this shitty program running, Everyone is putting their games on Steam with no alternative besides consoles
/Rant over
Legend of Zelda games and, Banjo Tooie, are weak as fuck.

dude just download a crack there's literally one released for every game within ten seconds of the game coming out
I think you should have to of held and shoot a firearm to vote on anti-gun laws
I think you should have to of held and shoot a firearm to vote on anti-gun laws
thats retarded, might as well say that you need to have taken a certain type of medication in order to vote on its legality, even though what it does and what side effects it has have already been confirmed
He says people should have to hold and shoot a firearm to vote. That means having separate booths where you shoot down the range, hoping to hit the right box you voted for.
I think you should have to of held and shoot a firearm to vote on anti-gun laws
and to vote on abortion laws, you must of had or attended an abortion
Why? So you can strategically exclude a group of people whose views you don't agree with?
So they know what the fuck they're talking about.
Like that Anti-gun senator who when asked what a barrel shroud is said it "was the shoulder thing that goes up". Because she wanted to ban something that prevents you from burning your hands on the barrel. Or like the other Senator who referred to a gun as a ghost gun (???) that has 30 magazine clip that fires 30. cal rounds. 30 rounds from it's magazine clip in half a second.
Most anti-gun people don't know anything about guns and think they simply look "scary" and need to be banned.
I think you should have to of held and shoot a firearm to vote on anti-gun laws
"I think you should own a slave before voting on slavery."
