Letting customers choose what they want to buy in future doesn't sound that bad idea to be honest. But who knew your customers are twats.
If you stop to think about it, alcohol drinking culture is weird. There's this really huge social pressure that comes from any type of gathering that you have to have a beer, or a glass of wine, or champagne, etc. It's no great wonder why 8% of the population, a really huge number, are alcoholics. I'm not saying everyone should stop drinking. I'm just saying it's weird.

The defense I hear for alcohol is "it makes you better at parties", which is a good thing, no doubt. I just think people should be conscious that a large number of people are sober or trying to be sober for some reason or another, and it shouldn't be the first thing you offer people at parties.

And people trying to control alcohol addictions are considered pansies.
The regular work week should be reduced down from 39 hours to something more appropriate especially where a job ends up predominantly being "looking busy" but the pay should remain the same.
Alcohol tends to lighten the mood and ease the mind off trouble(used wisely and not in large quantities, of course)
Ultimately, I think if you go to any sort of party(birthdays, celebrations, just for fun, etc.), alcohol spares a lot of awkward moments that a sober person would be weird out by, like bad dancing and bad jokes, also brings the most random topics for a conversation and those are always hilarious when you're drunk. [editline]5th June 2014[/editline] Of course, if you don't want to drink, you don't have to but it's not like it's a bad thing to do around good friends, some people are scared of trying alcohol for the first time and it's nothing different from trying out a new soda other than coca cola(might be a dumb comparison but whatever).
If i was a girl i'd be a slut
If i was a girl i'd be a slut
That's not that unpopular these days...
Disbandment of all standing armies and war machines is an ideal long term goal.
I don't hate Microsoft. I feel like they are going to cater to PC players soon. We really need Halo 1 and 2 remastered and Halo 3. It's already completed games so they should hire a porting team and get big bucks from us.
I hate apple. (Is that unpopular?)
Disbandment of all standing armies and war machines is an ideal long term goal.
But when we reach space we'll need the practice. Either there's a giant evil empire we have to take down, or we'll become a giant evil empire and we'll need to keep sharp in case aliens try to take us down.
Just how likely is the threat of an alien invasion?
Does anyone really know?
Fear the unknown.

A lot of the time people who don't drink because they know they'll have problems with it are sort of shunned, they get pressured into it really heavily. If I know that I'll be one of the 8%, why would you want to pressure me into drinking? Moreover, if someone is scared to try alcohol, why should you care? It's not beneficial to society to have another person who drinks.

Friends will care if you drink or not, not because they want you drink, it's more because they want you to have fun. If you really don't want to drink, just say you don't want to, even if they insist, if they are really your friends, they just accept it.

Personally I don't really like the taste of nearly any alcohol I've had plus my family has a history of alcoholism I'm determined to not continue.

Unpopular among Facepunch: Homestuck was pretty great. Unpopular among Homestuck fans: But it started to suck around act 5. Caveat: Problem Sleuth was better in every way.
homestuck has gone on for waaaaaaaay too long
homestuck got terrible as soon as they introduced the trolls
It should have wrapped up at act 5, but now act 5 is what, only a third of the way in? It's gotten way too far away from what it used to be. Like shit I used to be really into it, but now I just don't give a damn... [editline]5th June 2014[/editline]
homestuck got terrible as soon as they introduced the trolls
If they stayed a small part of the story like they were initially, that'd be one thing. Then giving them their own act was pushing it. But when they pretty much derailed the entire story and shifted focus off the other characters? Fuck that.

People who complain about Borderlands 2's "excessive" use of memes are too easily bothered by things.
People who complain about Borderlands 2's "excessive" use of memes are too easily bothered by things.
Didn't you already say this
People who complain about Borderlands 2's "excessive" use of memes are too easily bothered by things.
Well, I wasn't bothered by them. I was too busy being bothered some of the most repetitive combat I've ever seen instead.
