That's why we call it the unpopular opinions thread.

And it usually pertains to unpopular opinions within Facepunch and its many communities, cliques, and niches.
England are crap
England are crap
That's not unpopular, even us Englishmen accept we're crap.
Poland is actually a pretty interesting country to live in. Not a good one, mind you, but interesting.
People here say that it's a wild country. I have to agree, it is, in a very specific and odd way.
England are crap
I think a lot of englishmen get their patriotism from talking about how crap their country is

In guest verses he does some good stuff. Don't touch any of his albums.

Any of his modern albums at least.
i like the saw and final destination movies
I prefer Arkham Asylum over Arkham City.
I think Star Wars: The Force Unleashed had the best gameplay mechanics of any Star Wars game out there. Definitely not the best story, but the controls and style made for the perfect hack-n-slash Star Wars game and other SW titles really need to follow that same style. When I saw the cinematic trailers for The Old Republic, that looked like the best shit ever, something that would keep me engrossed in hours of beating up baddies with a lightsaber and using Force powers. Then the game turned out to be World of Warcraft with a Star Wars skin and I was so disappointed. It could've worked out so well if it was more like The Force Unleashed. Most other Star Wars games just look so unappealing to me because none of them play the exact same way TFU does.

I like his new albums.
There are two kinds of people in the world.
People who love Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and dirty fucking liars.

And just because it gets played non-stop at work doesn't mean its the Stockholm Syndrome talking. No sir.
Sexism in western countries is NOTHING compared to sexism in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and so on.
It's like getting angry about the flue when you have cancer. You should try and treat the cancer first.

deflection is the worst way to counter sexism. a woman getting acid thrown in her face in the middle east and a woman being denied rights to her own body in the US are both women suffering from sexism. one is more extreme than the other, but those are both examples of sexism.
it's also possible to deal with multiple issues at once in a world with nearly 8 billion people you know
and do you seriously expect a country that allows these small problems to slip to go out of its way to solve the big issues first?

Yeah, I do. I agree that you should tackle sexism, in both cases.
It just infuriates me because I rarely ever hear people talk about the right to drive movement, aside from that one M.I.A. video, and other much more major things, like infanticide in china and india.
We should work from the most important down, you don't solve things by tackling the minor issues first. Of course I think that both of these things are problem, I'm just thinking from a global perspective.
If you want to end suffering worldwide, then you end suffering. A woman getting stoned to death because of her fucked up culture is a much larger issue that deserves MUCH more attention. There's no two ways about it.
Flick of the Switch is ACDC's only decent album since 1979.
Battlefield: Hardline is a decent shooter that sets itself apart from BF4. Hell, I think BF4 should be complained more about being a minimal upgrade to BF3 (other than leveling destruction). Same fucking near-future setting, but with commander (thank god) and a worser campaign.
It's pretty funny that the game community praised the Call of Duty: Police Warfare fan concept, but when Hardline was revealed, everyone got mad about it not being too different from BF4 and that it should be an expansion instead.
One of the most universal complaints is that a Battlefield game isn't supposed to have police warfare because it's unrealistic. I'm pretty sure blowing up houses and other buildings violate some sort of law within any military. It's a game, which is meant to provide fun and entertainment in an otherwise fantasy scenario.
I won't buy it when it comes out, but I'll wait for it to drop in price around Black Friday.
Dunno about the controversy about BFH still having bugs from BF4, but I hope most can be fixed when the full game releases.
I'm pretty sure that people did complain that BF4 was too similar to BF3.
But you gotta admit that Hardline looks like some sort of silly mod for BF4. People complain that it makes no sense because they expected something new that actually fits the police vs robbers theme, not a BF4 reskin where an army of robbers fight an army of cops.
In the end it's a matter of price and I'm sure people would've been fine with it being a 20€ expansion, but as a full price title it's just weak.
Oblivion was better than skyrim.
The dark souls series would have been better if they were a little easier.
Also, I think that the elder scrolls as a series is fantastic, but each game is mediocre. The series has tons of potential, but each game has many flaws and doesn't hack at that potential like it should.

Each game has its own pros and cons, but TES VI should have all of the pros of each game and the cons of none. The ideal Elder Scrolls game would have the combat mechanics, armor classes and pieces, and killable NPCs (which causes all of their attached quests to fail) of Morrowind, the quests, magic, and classes of Oblivion, and the leveling/perk system, stealth, and crafting skills/mechanics of Skyrim.
The whole graphic downgrade of Watch Dogs isn't as huge of a deal that it people are making it, maybe it's just me but I'm not bothered by how it looks worse.
The Ideal tes would have quests as good as those found in oblivion, a skill system deeper or as deep as morrowind, Enchanting like morrowind, as many armour slots as there are in morrowind. Perks like fallout (Hated skyrim's perks) With an entirely new combat, stealth, acrobatics and attributes.

this confuses me

but the game isn't even that hard, provided you know what you're doing.

Jedi Academy 3 was the shit

It's like...
The lore (at least before skyrim) was great. The Idea that you can go anywhere and do anything is great, but it needs expanding on. But the combat has always been shit and lately the rpg mechanics have gotten worse. But those latter problems are to do with individual games and many of the problems are different from each game. If the elder scrolls just got bigger, better and got some additional depth each new itteration it'd be the best series... well, pretty much ever.
I just wish Skyrim had minor things where player skill as well as character skill makes an item more useful. And came chock full of little tidbits and hints and tricks that would make your skills more impressive.
I just wish it wasn't so combat focused since most of the combat was pretty boring anyway.
