Isn't smoking everyday considered abuse and, although people say weed isn't that harmful, still quite harmful?
I'm done with hearing L4D2 survivor hate, at least during gameplay. I mean, I understand some of it, but I was having a good time till I had to smell a Rochelle-basher's hemorrhoids.
Isn't smoking everyday considered abuse and, although people say weed isn't that harmful, still quite harmful?
afaik the smoke itself is not as harmful as tobacco smoke (assuming they don't mix the weed with tobacco as is fairly common in the UK, unfortunately) and less of it is consumed i.e. you might smoke 20 cigarettes in a day but I doubt anyone would smoke 20 joints in a similar time period.
The whole Sacrifice debacle was overrated. The concept of a survivor dying permanently was horribly melodramatic, considering they die all the time, I hated the gap between the timeline and gameplay that the comic made, the only things I can remember from the campaign were the tank in the train car and the namesake sacrifice, and the whole story was largely already told in The Passing.
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is overrated as fuck and I really do not understand the praise it gets. Yeah it's a good game, but not THAT good.
Nope, he gets dumbed because he really brings down the quality of the thread (which has noticeably declined since he decided to start posting in there). We've told him numerous times to improve his posting and he's ignored us every time and accused us of hating him for no apparent reason. He never makes things easy for himself. [editline]1st July 2014[/editline] White Husky has improved quite a lot compared to what he was. [editline]1st July 2014[/editline] You don't even post in WAYT so you don't even know the entire story.
the fact you're so defensive over how you treat him is quite telling in that fact that you are only contributing to the problem. If I see a dumb post in a discussion I have no plans on getting involved with, I just ignore that post. I don't rate it dumb, I just move on with my life (which would avoid a lot of Swogstorms[TM] in WAYT). But anytime he posts anything there, at least from what I've seen, is that people would rather respond to those dumb posts and attack Swog, some do give actual critisism, but personally, based upon how's been treated he probably doesn't want to listen to anyone there. Maybe if you just ignored the dumb posts entirely (Hell, if you hate the guy so much why not add him to your ignore list?). Honestly, the problem isn't just in Swog, it's in how he's treated by everybody. Now there's an unpopular opinion.
victim blaming itt
I fell asleep through every Star Trek film- including Wrath of Khan. San Francisco is a really sad version of Seattle. When I root for a country at FIFA- it's not because I like that country, it's because I dislike the other country more (this is likely pretty common though...). Stephen Fry is a pompous cunt; still like his acting and comedy though.

Yes, each actual, baseline campaign happens in the story of the Left 4 Dead games, but everyone's experience is different. I do agree with you that Bill's death was completely spoiled and ruined by The Passing and Valve should've done The Sacrifice first in order to make everything more dramatic, but what's done is done, and what we got really wasn't that horrible. Plus the comic that came with The Sacrifice was wicked good and they need to make more for Left 4 Dead once Team Fortress 2 is done.
I haven't tried any so I have no personal experience, but the effects sound really mundane. Seems to be like alcohol where it's often a social thing where you do it with your friends. And also like alcohol where some people smoke every day because their life is shit.
just like with alcohol, the effects vary depending on how much you smoke but unlike alcohol, i totally smoke on my own when i feel like it. i wouldn't get super drunk by myself, though
Am I the only person who thought the Uncharted games were really dull? I don't get why people love them to be honest
Honestly, the problem isn't just in Swog, it's in how he's treated by everybody.
You're missing an extremely vital detail. He's treated the way he is specifically BECAUSE he ignores criticism. If he had listened to criticism in the first place it never would have gotten to this point. And no, this doesn't justify actual personal attacks on him but it's ignorant to claim it's as much the fault of others as it is his.

If someone has a habit of saying really dumb things you're going to be more likely to think something they say is dumb than if someone you don't think is dumb said it.

With mental problems as well
Am I the only person who thought the Uncharted games were really dull? I don't get why people love them to be honest
Gameplay may be a bit standard but I love the Indiana Jones-esque story and feel of it, it's got a bunch of lighthearted humor.
He's like though 14 though isn't he? With mental problems as well
I think he was 16 though I don't remember. And mental problems are no excuse. Ignoring criticism is a personality issue not a mental issue. Hiding behind a mental problem rather than trying to face your problems is frankly bullshit.

I miss video rental stores. There's just something about them that streaming can't replace.
Can we just cut the crap about the whole Swog thing? It's getting tiring of seeing it in Unpopular Opinions.
Swog fucked up and now everyone is hating on him for it. Let's give him a chance, yes?
Swog fucked up and now everyone is hating on him for it. Let's give him a chance, yes?
I fucked up. I get shit on. Welcome to the real world.
This is the internet
Swog fucked up and now everyone is hating on him for it. Let's give him a chance, yes?
He has been given chances repeatedly though?
He has been given chances repeatedly though?
I had no idea. :v:
Weed is really boring and the culture around it is a joke most of the time.
Thank fuck someone said it already.
Weed is a very tame drug, personally I always thought of it as a enhancer to an experience not a completely new one, pot culture is pretty 12ie though, I just smoke and sell dope not a advocate. However I do think you do need to have smoked weed a couple times before you can really have a valid opinion on the drug's effects itself tbh Anyway have a unpopular opinion from me weed > alcohol, I mean you don't get completely made piss like you do with alcohol so if you and some mates are blazing you can actually walk around and do shit, plus you get like a not as bad hangover (no headache just scattered feeling.) my top reason is alcohol itself tastes like shit to me, not that I don't get drunk I just really don't enjoy getting drunk, pot actually has a p great taste
I only think weed culture is stupid because of the ass loads of people who make it look stupid as fuck. I'm look at you /r/trees you cancerous cesspit. [editline]2nd July 2014[/editline] "ents"
I'm totally into fantasy, Sci-Fi, ... but I think Star Wars sucks.
