lol i shower like 2-3 times a week because i'm disgusting. [editline]14th July 2014[/editline] everyone. back away.
That's... that's not something you tell people. Gross.
lol i'm exaggerating, honestly. i shower probably every other day.
I'd still improve on that if I were you.
lolll. alright. will do...
Don't care, if you don't shower daily you're gross as fuck.
Today I showered twice. Once when I woke up, then again after I got all sweaty. Plus I need to everyday anyway, I gotta clean my hair thoroughly every day to keep the dandruff away.
Dude, just never sweat.
I'm a girl so it's not like I smell. I obviously shower after I gym/workout which is usually every other day... and I can only wash my hair about twice a week or it just gets oily. So.. to each their own.
I feel bad for people without well water.
Showering daily often is rather unnecessary. We're cleanliness obsessed as a species and any hint of our natural smell is treated as some kind of colossal farce.
sir are you advocating farts [editline]15th July 2014[/editline] farting in general
Showering daily often is rather unnecessary. We're cleanliness obsessed as a species and any hint of our natural smell is treated as some kind of colossal farce.
your appeal to nature shit is hilarious. there's a reason why it's polite shower every day: offending people with your grit and stink isn't nice. it also feels pretty damned good and it's just refreshing
Showering daily often is rather unnecessary. We're cleanliness obsessed as a species and any hint of our natural smell is treated as some kind of colossal farce.
Why shower? It's not necessary, just walk around sweaty and oily and smelly! Why brush your teeth? It's not necessary, just let them turn into rotten brown lumps in your mouth! Why clean your ears? Its not necessary, just let them get filled with crusty earwax! Yeah... No. I don't care if you want to call it "au naturale", it's gross. Hygiene is good.
yeah sometimes in the summer i have a crazy sleep schedule so sometimes i forget to shower for like 3 days and i feel like total dump daily showers are a necessity
Showering daily often is rather unnecessary. We're cleanliness obsessed as a species and any hint of our natural smell is treated as some kind of colossal farce.
idk man b.o. smells pretty rank

No. I don't care if you want to call it "au naturale", it's gross. Hygiene is good.
How fucking filthy are you that you need to shower every day? Do you and everyone you know just roll around in muck and fling shit at each other all day? Oil on your skin has important vitamins and minerals switch help your skin stay smooth, if you keep washing it off before it can work you're going to end up with flaky, dry skin. How much you sweat also depends on where you live, what you wear and your physical activity. Where live it's usually cold enough that having a shower every other day is the norm, people only shower every day during particularly hot periods in the summer. How do you think "showering every other day is fine" means "Hygiene is for babies, no one should ever brush their teeth"? [editline]15th July 2014[/editline]
idk man b.o. smells pretty rank
What is deodorant?
What is deodorant?
I've never found a deodorant that did shit for me.
Normal people believe vaccinations do not cause autism. "Smart" people believe vaccinations cause autism. Really smart people believe vaccinations do not cause autism. Would've helped if Emperorconor used quotation marks like I did, it adds to the real meaning.
Are you saying that people don't believe the same thing that stupid people do?
Are you saying that people don't believe the same thing that stupid people do?
I don't understand what you're asking here.
I don't understand what you're asking here.
"Smart" people believe vaccines cause autism, right? But those people are obviously not smart, or you wouldn't have put it in quotations, therefore making them dumb. Normal people, and actually smart people, don't believe the same thing these dumb people do.
-snip wrong thread-

Normal people, and actually smart people, don't believe the same thing these dumb people do.
Yes, that's the gist of it. I assumed that's what Emperorconor was implying, which is why I added the quotation marks where appropriate, to make both his statement and my example easier to understand.
[t]http://www.ifpeoplemattered.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/20131023-114746.jpg[/t] Cheap as shit and lasts 3/4 of a year easily. Put it on immediatly after you shower and you can go about a day and half before needing to reapply it. Sooner if you're really active. Can be applied anywhere on the body and won't leave any marks behind at all. It's essentially an antibacterial stick. Bacteria (which produces the smell of BO) can't grow or live where you have applied it. It won't do shit for pre-existing smells so you have to wash up first. Also doubles as an astringent when you've cut yourself shaving. :v:
I'm not sure those are in stores around here, I've never seen that before. [editline]15th July 2014[/editline] But I'll keep an eye out next time.
Showering daily often is rather unnecessary. We're cleanliness obsessed as a species and any hint of our natural smell is treated as some kind of colossal farce.
I dunno everyone who has a 'natural smell' smells like shit from what I've had to deal with.
My anecdote for the day: From my cab experience, folks that make frequent trips to the adult bookstore and the side of town where the hookers work, smell like boiled cabbage. And my unpopular opinion of the day: Pot stink is worse than pissed off skunks and old dirty socks.
lol i shower like 2-3 times a week because i'm disgusting. [editline]14th July 2014[/editline] everyone. back away.
I think it was shown somewhere that if you don't shower every day you actually smell less because the balance of microbes in the particularly stinky areas is not messed with as much so doesn't produce as much of a smell by overcompensating for the bacterial genocide lol Much like what happens with daily head hair washing I imagine - the hair overproduces oils and sebum due to abnormally clean conditions so if you then miss your daily wash it gets super greasy and disgusting. I've been washing my hair 1-2 times a week for like 2 years now using bicarbonate soda dissolved in water as shampoo and white vinegar diluted with water as conditioner. It works really well and my hair is really shiny and light after doing it for 4-7 days. When I've been out people have asked me what products I use (I'm a guy with long hair) and they're shocked when I say I don't use any aside from the two aforementioned 1-2 times a week. The only thing is if you don't wash it out properly it can smell a bit vinegary but you can pretty much resolve that by adding a bit of aromatherapy/essential oil to each solution.

But I preferred it shampooed.
Jontron is definitely better than PewDiePie. (Not sure if unpopular-)
