Also Wayne has a Ph.D and is a self made millionaire
Plus he has launched other people's careers, such as drake and nicki minaj. Both of whom are wasted potential most of the time.

Drake's musical ability and Nicki's voice could do amazing things
How the hell can shark week be interesting? It's most likely the same recycled shit over and over again. A day long marathon of sharks is perfectly reasonable, but allocating a whole damn week to sharks is overkill.
But sharks are cool.

Nicki has some good lyrical ability too, she just doesn't try, probably because she knows she doesn't have to. Her verse in monster is a pretty decent example.

I hate Drake's rapping voice but I love hearing him sing.

He should just keep doing R&B stuff imo, usually it's pretty good, with a couple exceptions. Though even those two still sound good.
i find it strange how people revere the mongolians or genghis khan, in spite of the fact he and his armies committed the greatest atrocities and genocides in all history

yeah but you can say that for literally any event
i wouldn't have been born had it not been for hitler
The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, while still not an amazing game, is much better than the critics and fans think. The only reason people shit on this game is because of it's lackluster reveal (which ended up not even being what the game would turn out to be) and the fact that it was an XCOM game that didn't play like the other XCOM games.
Rather than being judged on it's own merits, it gets shunned because it isn't like the games that proceed it.
It get's a 7.5/10 from me though a lot of the lore and more interesting parts will fly over your head if you've never played Enemy Unknown.

I wouldn't have been born if it weren't for the Armenian genocide :v:
Hitler probably helped too.
People say that HL2's gunplay has aged badly, but I disagree. I just think that the FPS genre has moved past HL2's shooting mechanics, and I wish they hadn't. I love the lack of ADS and how every gun is insanely accurate shooting from the hip, and how your (insanely narrow) cone of fire isn't affected at all by movement. In fact, IIRC, your cone of fire is only affected by the duration you've been holding down mouse1. It also has very, very little recoil. I just love it, really; it makes for very fast-paced, arcadey gameplay, and it suits HL2 very well, especially considering the monstrous amount of health you have. It's not realistic, not in the slightest, but damn it... it's just fun. I don't get the same feeling from any other shooter I've tried, really.
It's not really modern, but saying that it's aged badly is pretty silly in my opinion; HL2 with Battlefield's gunplay would be terrible.
The weapon sounds and feel aren't great, though. Especially the SMG. It's decently useful, but jesus it feels like I'm firing altoids or something.
And, yeah. The physics puzzles are silly.
The newest Godzilla movie was boring
I wouldn't say boring, but just not as good as everyone says it is.

Wasn't talking about the lack of ADS, for the right gameplay style, it works great. The problem I at least think about when I think of HL2's guns is the lack of impact they have, audibly and visually, where they feel more like airsoft guns than actual guns. Better examples of gunplay would be Painkiller, and Killing Floor.
Sonic wasn't terrible at least until the 3D games. I can say that because it's not the fucking early 90s anymore. I'll keep saying this shit until I'm wrong.

I thought that was the popular opinion
2D sonic always seem to get so much praise compared to 3D sonic
It annoys me to no end how, regarding the recent plane shooting in particular but with any event, people have to bring in the nationalities of the casualties.
Don't get me wrong, I know it's important to know what the nationality is, but people are like "63 Dutch people died :(" as if they don't feel sympathy for the other 232 people who also died. I feel equal sympathy for every single one regardless of where they came from and I hope everyone else does as well. I was rated dumbs on the thread in SH for feeling this way but it's a shit mindset to have IMO.

I thought it was general consensus that 3D Sonic = bad, 2D Sonic = good?

The 3D games did introduce chao's though, they're the bomb. I would buy a sonic game that was only a more complex chao garden.

I would also like to add that I prefer the 3D games over the 2D ones

I agree,but
1.There were ~190 dead Dutch people (?)
2.Deaths hit harder when it's people in your city or neighbourhood instead of people at the other end of the world.
Sensationalist Headlines should be removed with or without an alternative subforum to replace it.
[editline]20th July 2014[/editline]
And threads that are obvious bait like any feminist thread ever should be banned.

And then News Node will replace it, so GG. Obvious bait already gets locked or the OP gets banned for the most part already.
News Node should be just gaming news though.

There should be a special place for threads in like those in SH (threads that get a lot of attention in no time where it's basically the same few posters in a massive shitstorm.)
It could be called Sensationalist Shitstorms

General Disruption for SH?
tbh you really can't say that something is NOT gonna cause a shitstorm in sh
if it's a thread about feminism, it probably will, but sometimes you get random discussions about the imperial system in threads about dogs

Sure, but threads about femminism usually end up in > 10 pages of the same 5 or so people who just say "No you"
