I don't understand the brony hate at all, it's gotten to the point where there can't even be a single thread for fans to discuss the show (same with furries and cat girl people). 1) I understand the "because they shove their fandom everywhere" but a lot of fandoms do that, you don't see people make a fuss at people who make star trek references. 2) And the stereotypes that most if not all bronies and autistic manchildren and pedophiles, most of them aren't though, there's only a few that decide to make cringe worthy videos which makes people think they are all like that. 3) Also it's ironic to say that they shouldn't watch a little girls show and that they should act like men, it's just like saying that a woman shouldn't watch a cartoon with boyish features and that she should act like a grown woman.
What I always found fascinating about Facepunch's hatred of bronies is that the stereotype has evolved to match whatever people currently dislike. A short while back people here said they were all SJWs, before that they said they were all fundamentalist Christians, now it's the opposite of both, the only element of the stereotype that hasn't changed was also ironically the one that's two or three contradictions in and of itself, that being that they're all zoophile pedophiles. But my rambling aside, here's the opinion I wanted to say: I don't support drug legalization, but I do think the current laws need massive reform.

Like, everyone was crazy about it and pretentious and stuff. Nowadays I don't really think it's called for, but I think it's mainly to do with the reputation that it had gathered. Like, for example, the more notorious members of the furry fandom seem to be fursuit-wearing dog-humping no-lifes, even though that's like a fraction of the fandom, but it's just the people that everyone knows. You do still get people with their pony avatars, roleplaying on twitter, and trying to get others to watch the show, but it's *way* less people. Still, it's just the reputation they gathered, I don't think it can be changed for them unfortunately.
I think it's wrong to announce content for a game and keep delaying it frequently until you release a new version of said game just to use it as a sale point. My opinion can be wrong too, since I'm not a game dev or have any experience with marketing, I just think that it is kind of dickish move to have people expecting certain content in the game, and then having them need to purchase the game, again, just to experience the content that should have beenin the game from the start.
Yeah it's definitely a cunt move on the part of Rockstar with the heists that they showed in the GTA Online trailer but still haven't released. Maybe they didn't think it would take this long but it's still no excuse. Should have left them out of the trailer.
Nobody's stopping you from doing that?
you are right, but i can still dislike the direction in which steam has been heading the past years it seems all these social network direction just clutters steam with what i think is useless crap, and it's just... annoying im not going to say that i miss the times when there was no steam overlay, you couldnt have an avatar and profile etc, but im not liking this facebookesque things either

Though most haters should just shut up and let the fandom die out as it will eventually.
I don't like bacon.
I like floppy, slightly undercooked bacon more than crispy bacon. At least floppy bacon has some actual flavor to it. Crispy bacon just tastes like crunchy, hot, burned dust. It's like the difference between a rare steak and a well-done steak. [editline]26th July 2014[/editline] This is an unpopular opinion in America as far as I know.

That extra edit part, about what they should/shouldn't like. Can go in the garbage along with racism, sexism, anti-gaming attitudes, etc.

[editline]26th July 2014[/editline] Seriously what is with this culture, women are encouraged to participate in things that are predominately male oriented, but if it's the other way around you are called a girly manchild.
Seriously what is with this culture, women are encouraged to participate in things that are predominately male oriented, but if it's the other way around you are called a girly manchild.
Thats kind of the fault of feminisms focus on only changing societies views on women and not men.

I hate fighting games (except ssb). I bought Marvel vs Capcom once for god knows why and I immediately regretted it the first match I played online. Haven't played it since.
I hate fighting games (except ssb). I bought Marvel vs Capcom once for god knows why and I immediately regretted it the first match I played online. Haven't played it since.
Really the only fighting game I really liked were the DBZ budokai tenkaichi games. Since I hate memorizing complicated moves and stuff, it's really simple in that to grab any character and do great with. Though I haven't really played many.
Seriously what is with this culture, women are encouraged to participate in things that are predominately male oriented, but if it's the other way around you are called a girly manchild.
Culture you say? Let me rant. Skip to the last paragraph if you don't care for all the speculation being pulled out my ass. When adult women sometimes join a predominantly adult male group, men of that group feel that they get improved eligibility as a result. So they might encourage it. When adult males join an adult female group, other males outside that group may consider it a sexual tactic. And accept it. Or they might just accept that the person wants to join that group because they like it. End of. Society doesn't really care about men doing this. In the case of little girls joining a predominately little boys group, little boys see no issue with it as sexism is discouraged in modern western culture, especially in schools. However, older males, fathers even, might see an issue with it... but they will mostly hold their tongues because they don't think their are any real downsides. When little boys join a predominately female group. Conservative (Slightly conservative even) adult males and fathers fear for their little boy's sexuality. They recall the treatment of gays in their younger days and wish to protect them. Times have changed however. The fear should be dropped. Little boys should be encouraged to do what they like. Forcing them away from female groups is a twat move. When adult women join a predominately little boy group (a 24 year old woman loving ben10 for example), adult men outside that group would suspect nothing. Men would think: "Of course a woman could love a boys thing. Boys things are good and entertaining." When adult males are a part of a little boys group, older men outside that group suspect that the older males in group are just not fully mature, or are nostalgic. Which is quite normal. But, here's when we get to MLP situations... when adult males join a predominately little girl group, some men outside that group suspect that the person has no life, no social skills and is nothing like them. Outcasts. Omega males. Easy to pick on for trivial things, like immaturity or retardation. It's fun to bully especially when it's trendy. [added]1406409697[/added] Humans can be an unethical lot

I don't like Guns and Roses. I am also not a big Tom Petty fan. Some of his songs are good but he is abysmal at singing. Despite this, I still listen to Classic Rock the most of any genre.

But that is jumping to conclusions on the suspectees part. They wouldn't think that if it wasn't for other factors, like oddity. I mean no one accuses or imagines adult male spongebob fans of being perverts. Or very few suspect it at the most.
I never liked Matchmaking-based lobby placement in multiplayer games. I always prefer a client-server system rather than being placed automatically by the game with "skill-matched" players. I feel like these systems don't consider large parties of players playing agaisnt teams composed of random players. Nothing against parties of players palying together and organized, but when it happens often in matchmaking it's just pubstomping and team-stacking waiting to happen. However, there are some games that are bette with a matchmaking system (like Dota and the competitive branch of CS:GO).
participating in football is a bit different than participating in masturbating to cartoon horses
not every brony likes the porn
I never really saw the appeal of flamethrowers in video games. They're difficult to aim, slow to kill, and are likely to catch the user on fire if they aren't wearing a special suit.
Why do you respond to trolls
Because with a subject like that it's not particularly obvious he's trolling.

Especially when the devs refuse to do anything to make it better (Naughty Dog). In The Last of Us there is a no parties option, however, that isn't an option if you want to play the dlc maps, so you best get used to getting your ass kicked if you want to experience the new maps. Oh and did I mention that people can also vote for vanilla maps in the dlc playlist? If I put myself at a disadvantage by playing the dlc playlist, I better FUCKING play the dlc maps.
Gays shouldn't serve in the military
Only gays should serve in the military.
Only gays should serve in the military.
Sparta v2???
Chemtrails are real, Obama is a lizard, and liberals and the number one cause of hemorrhoids worldwide.
If a game is 20 gigs or higher it's done something very wrong.
1) I understand the "because they shove their fandom everywhere" but a lot of fandoms do that, you don't see people make a fuss at people who make star trek references.
Actually plenty of people get mad at other fandoms who do that? Hell, I know I do And it's really not fair to use Star Trek as an example because that's already a huge part of sci-fi pop culture. When someone references something like Star Wars, Star Trek or Back to the Future, they might like those movies but that doesn't mean they're part of the fandom, just that they're making a reference everyone will get
3) Also it's ironic to say that they shouldn't watch a little girls show and that they should act like men, it's just like saying that a woman shouldn't watch a cartoon with boyish features and that she should act like a grown woman.
I don't see how that's ironic
