I believe there are certain people that should be killed. I am a big supporter of the death penalty. Rapists, murderers (pre-meditated), child molesters - just kill 'em. Get rid of this stupid "death row" bullshit where they wait 15-30 years (+$30,000 tax payer dollars/year to keep them fed, clothed, ENTERTAINED (of all things) etc) to get some expensive ass injection which costs more tax payer dollars. The judge bangs the gavel "the jury finds you guilty of murder in the 1st degree, I sentence you to death". Immediately take them to a room right off of the court room and BANG one cheap little bullet into the head. No waiting, no expensive "humane" injection. Just take care of business. Shit, even put it on Pay-Per-View. Set up a little arena where they have to run from wild bears or something with hidden traps, fire pits and all kinds of crazy shit. You know 80% of people would pay to watch that shit. Hell, even let people pay to participate. Give them a rifle, a few rounds and a tree stand and give them the chance to pick these suckers off themselves. Then take all the proceeds to pay off the US debt. Country will saved in maybe 5 to 10 years with our debt payed off and less crime due to the fact that everyone is scared shitless in knowing they might get sent to "The Arena" for their heinous crimes.
Personally, I'm a fan of conscripting them into Penal Legions that act as the first attack wave in warfare. At least they're being useful. [editline]29th May 2013[/editline]
I agree with you. I don't know why I have these kinds of opinions, I have fascist genes or something.
I agree simply because I do not believe those people can be helped. [editline]29th May 2013[/editline]
Its extremely barbaric.
So is murder, rape, and child molestation. There need to be consequences, and living out the rest of your days in what is for all intents and purposes a free home is not exactly a punishment. Bear in mind, letting them rot just doesn't apply to today. We give our prisoners better living conditions than we do our homeless!
That thing you like is overrated

They might come in handy during a time of great need, where we aren't just fighting scattered mujahideens.
the state doesnt provide "our homeless" with any living conditions, that's why prisoners are treated better. and blind punishment accomplishes nothing.
Neither does giving them free food and lodging. Send them in on suicide missions and stuff. Make them "Last Chancers", if you know what I mean.
Neither does giving them free food and lodging.
it could reform them
it could reform them
Possibility is not absolute. EDIT: Let's get back on topic. If we keep on this tangent, it'll get worse before it gets better.
Possibility is not absolute. EDIT: Let's get back on topic. If we keep on this tangent, it'll get worse before it gets better.
ok, lets call trying to rehabilitate people as opposed to opposed to stringing them up my unpopular opinion.
Fair enough. :v:
The name Feminism doesn't promote equality.
The name Feminism doesn't promote equality.
that's not an opinion. you're just factually wrong.

I can't stand anime. It's like the story devs don't even try to be original and always do the same thing. Same plot, same graphics, same looking characters and the list goes on. One Piece and GTO are the only animes I like.
The name Feminism doesn't promote equality.
I think Feminism is just one aspect of a whole larger goal for humanity. Women who are exclusively feminists and don't give as much of a shit about any other injustice in the world are just fuelled by their own narrow self-interest, and are essentially hypocrites, advocating the very self-interested moral stance used by men that caused the unjust inequality in the first place. True Feminism is not at all a bad thing; there is still definitely work to be done in altering our culture's collective outlook on gender inequalities, to outlooks that correlate with solid scientific knowledge (This goes both ways, with also accepting that there are still generalised, yet not massively significant differences between males and females, while also accepting that those generalised traits do not apply to everyone). I would say that all these people marching under the banners of Feminism and such things, should advocate Humanism as a whole, and hold Feminism as one of the many relevant aspects of work to be done in society.
People with porno avatars are shallow cunts.
I will never understand the idea of "yeah the movie is shit, but the girl in it is so hot!" yes ok there are plenty of hot women you can see on the internet that aren't surrounded by a shit movie that eats 11 dollars straight out of your wallet why don't you just go do that
I don't like the final fantasy games and I don't like the Zelda games.

I have never been a fan of the name. I am a big fan of what they are wanting to do.

Flowers do not smell nice.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Complete is a good mod I legitimately think we should just cordon off Detroit, and then let all the drug addicts go there, and all drugs sold and possessed there are legal. Sell them drugs, tax drugs. Give them a gun, and a car. Boom. problem solved, nothing of value is lost, helps economy. Fascism works.
Fascism works.
Of course it works but it's so unbelievably unpopular that if you seriously think it's a good idea to implement as a government system then you need to do some serious rethinking.
If a women is instigating a fight with a man and is acting like a man, she should be treated like a man. Ignoring that old saying "You never hit a women."
Fascism works.
Turned out well for Spain, Italy and Germany. Wait a minute...
Fascism works.
True, but like Communism, there are so many ways to fuck it up, it's unsafe.
There's nothing bad about r/atheism I know it's just a whole bunch of neckbeards circlejerking about atheism but that is why it was made in the first place.
I consider myself pro-life. Not because I want to oppress women, religious reasons, or anything like that. I even understand the arguments for it and empathize with the horrible situations the women seeking abortions are in. But no matter how hard I try, I cannot see an embryo/fetus as anything but human life, and I cannot possibly justify the taking of this life.
Capitalism will never be displaced. Every other economic system built around eliminating the concept of private ownership will inherently fail.
