i don't actually like bizkit, i was making a joke also i'm taken
That doesn't stop mormons you know [sp]yes, i know they don't do that anymore.[/sp]
Despite all the dumb shit Crytek has done recently, I still totally dig Cryengine a lot. Also Sketchup is a totally respectable modelling software.
I find the original Max Payne to be hilarious. I never played it when it came out so maybe I just don't have the right perspective for it, but playing it now, the silly voice acting combined with ridiculous faces and equally ridiculous lines make it really, really funny, and I can't tell if that's intentional or not. I was actually genuinely surprised when I found out that people take it seriously and that it's actually going for something serious. [editline]E[/editline] "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, IT'S THE PAYNE IN THE BUTT"
the mobsters are obviously not meant to be taken seriously, but the stuff around max's family and pretty much everything past the first act gets real heavy real fast.
That's just how Remedy do their games. The story is serious and introspective and the enemies are goofy and weird. Alan Wake is a dark Twin Peaks kind of story with enemies covered in shadows who yell "Omega-3 fatty acids are good for you heart!" when they spawn in.
which category does the level where you run around bloody line segments and find a babby fit into?
I think all the new Batman movies (Christopher Nolan's Batman movies) are terrible at representing the Batman universe, its story and especially its villains. Everything feels wrong. Tim Burton's Batman is the best Batman. Wish I had seen it sooner.
They're excellent movies. They're just not Batman movies. It's same with EA Command and Conquer and Westwood Command and Conquer. Not really much in common except for IP (maybe CnC3 could pass for a true CnC, but eh), but damn the new games are good. They just don't go well with old games' fans because they truly are nothing like the old games. Doesn't make them worse, though. Hell even CnC4 isn't as bad as people make it out to be, it just shouldn't have been named Command and Conquer because it's absolutely positively 100% a different genre with different target audience. What's interesting though, if it came out as a CnC3 mod and DOTA never existed, it could be the late alternate universe beginning of MOBA. Of course it's not only the idea that's flawed about CnC4, the execution is to be blamed as well, but if it were a fan-made mod this wouldn't be the case.
I don't like how I have to use the subway.
Never got to use the subway in my life. No such thing in my country.
I enjoyed Dragon Age II.
I don't like large urban cities. I'm not a fan of living in an apartment building next to someone, I'm not a fan of the traffic (people are relentless in traffic), I don't like the dirtiness radiating from the streets, and I don't like how I have to use the subway. I prefer living in a town.
IMO small towns tend to have more character to them over big cities. They can be quirkier too.
I don't think Metro: Redux is worth buying or really necessary.
Metro 2033 or Last Light? 2033 Redux adds new secrets and more exploration from what I've heard, including upgraded graphical fidelity. Last Light is simply just a graphic update but some people that haven't played it but want to get it on their Xbox One or their PS4 will have the chance to do so with much better graphics and (imo) a better controller. All personal preference but I'll surely be picking up 2033 Redux.

All personal preference but I'll surely be picking up 2033 Redux.
Redux also revamps Ranger mode so you can check how much ammo you have, adds Survival mode to make the game balanced more like 2033, or Spartan mode which makes the game more action balanced, and adds some small side areas. For 2033 Redux also adds new parts to levels to connect them together rather than having the fade to black between levels, and even merges some level together.
For 2033 Redux also adds new parts to levels to connect them together rather than having the fade to black between levels, and even merges some level together.
That's what I meant. Sounds great, and is exactly why I'm picking it up.
When I say I'm 100% sure about something, I am really only 99.99% sure because I find it impossible to be 100% sure of anything.
Oh wow, and the Metro Redux comes with BOTH games in one case/disc? That I did not know. Definitely picking that up day one.
It's just my opinion, I thought this thread was about posting your "Unpopular Opinions"?
It is. And I told you why I think your opinion is wrong in a constructive way. If you're going to act like that than you shouldn't have posted the opinion at all.
Canada Sucks. source: I'm canadian
I never really understood the love for Canada. I've been their twice (maybe three times? Not exactly sure, I was pretty young) and it doesn't seem all that special or unique. Just a place with different people. I wouldn't go as far as it sucks, just that it isn't all that special. Source: Half my family is from Canada.
