Omg I have so much to say about games that people usually cry about I liked Duke Nukem Forever I disliked Serious Sam 3 I liked Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 The hype for HL3 is retarded Bragging about/Spending money on virtual items (such as tf2 hats and cs:go guns) is just as retarded as preordering dlc "It's my money" is not an excuse for me not to call you dumb as fuck "It's not finished" is not an excuse for me to criticize the game when I purchased money for it. Valve is severely overrated EA gets too much hate Morrowind < Skyrim < Oblivion in terms of enjoyment
I have no idea how to rate this post because it's all over the place. I agree with some, disagree with some, and don't have any opinion on the rest.
Hershey's chocolate isn't that bad
people who assume XYZ movements are part of an inevitable "progress" are fooling themselves "progress" is largely subjective and haphazard, and to people who say that "this thing is progressive" or "these persons hold back progress" are just as closeminded as the persons they criticize for being "anti-progress" every social and economic change in history can be twisted into the narrative of a progress especially at fault are some of so called "atheists" who write off the medieval period as one of savagery and backwardness or those who say the roman and greek civilizations were bastions of civilization because they were tolerant of homosexuals, yet at the same time had specially built public arenas to kill people in for entertainment
Office jobs are severely overrated. Working outside/inside but moving a lot is infinitely better than sitting at a desk on your ass all day. Source: I sit at a desk on my ass all day.
"god damn it" and the likes are all expressions now, never meaning to be taken literally I thought? For christians and non christians both.
And thus many people who invoke karma don't literally believe it. I have absolute doubt over whether they believe there is an omniscient force in nature punishing all wrong-doing. It really shows that someone is deeply entrenched in their beliefs.
Office jobs are severely overrated. You can DIY one and just set it on your current desk pretty easily if conditions allow for it. Also I'm not quite sure office jobs are highly rated, tons of people crack jokes about the cubicle sucking all life out of you.
I don't believe in an other-worldly universal magical force but I do believe if you keep being a good person, good things will probably happen to you
I don't believe in an other-worldly universal magical force but I do believe if you keep being a good person, good things will probably happen to you
Depends on the action imo. If you find an injured bird and treat it and release it, unless it's a crow (they're pretty damn smart), you can't expect anything. If you help a friend move, you might get something good out of that.
well yeah it does depend on the action, i'm still gonna help that bird though because I just want to be nice
I think about "karma" in the idea of "If I'm good, other people will be good too." Not just towards me, but towards one-another.
I hate the whole "slut shaming" thing. People are more than willing to accept advice such as "When you park your car, hide your valuables, e.g. put your laptop under the seat or stow it somewhere", "Don't walk around places you aren't familiar with at night" or "Drive defensively, the goal isn't just to avoid causing an accident, but to avoid accidents caused by other people". But if someone tells people that wearing revealing clothes isn't the best idea, because they'll attract attention from both good people and bad people, they're told they're slut shaming and whatnot, and that maybe they should tell people not to rape. People are told not to drive drunk, steal, etc. but they still do it.
"Damn right I'm a slut but I'm boy so it's all gooooood" - Rizzle Kicks(one of them) - Lost Generation(not as pretentious as it sounds like it might be, brings up legit problems)
Pokemon red and blue were the worst pokemon games. Not saying they're bad, they're still good fun, but every single other Pokemon game (not counting spinoffs) is better.
I liked Silent Hill: Downpour, it's water compared to the original games, yes. and the upcoming Silent Hill will hopefully, restore the series' reputation. but surprisingly Downpour was the game that got me into the series, thus I own SH1,2 and 4 the room. no matter what happens Downpour will still be my guilty pleasure. this is pretty much unpopular with most silent hill fans in general and most of Facepunch.

By saying "oh you shouldn't have done x and that's why you got raped", you're placing the blame on the victim and not the attacker. It's kind of fucked up imo
i dislike outlast and the last of us outlast is basically a combination of everything i hate about modern horror games eg: not being able to fight back jumpscares galore first person the last of us just feels bland i cant quite put my finger on it but it just feels unoriginal and could never get into it
The problem with outlast was the design of the "monsters" were shit and not scary at all. [sp]Just a selection dudes with weird faces, the heavy from TF2, and two guys with potato shaped penises. Oh and a Nazi Ghost.[/sp] Guess I'll [sp] tag that?
i dislike outlast and the last of us outlast is basically a combination of everything i hate about modern horror games eg: not being able to fight back jumpscares galore first person
agreed i don't find it scary at all it's more boring than anything else

It's that there are some awful people out there, and that it is indeed possible to take precautions to avoid becoming a victim of those awful people. No matter how many times men are told women aren't objects, rapists will still be out there. It's not a perfect defense to not wear extremely revealing clothing and to go to the club with friends, but it certainly can help you avoid being a target. Much like parking your car in broad daylight can help you not get car-jacked.
Ghost movies are pretty universally not scary. A lot of the time I find them funny more than anything else.

It does not have to do with the type of clothing they happen to be wearing, as rape is an act of violence where the rapist seeks control and power over their victim rather than in the interest of sexual gratification. Furthermore, rape in a dark alley, while alone at night by a stranger is far less common than one might think, despite being what many think of is happening when we imagine a rape happening. More often than not, rape is done by somebody the victim knows, and the most common location for a rape to occur is in the victim's home.
Ghost movies are pretty universally not scary. A lot of the time I find them funny more than anything else.
All possession films are the same to me. A lot of people tell me that this one is better than that one, etc. but I honestly can't even remember which scenes are from which horror movie, because they all revolve around the same premise and do not have the creativity for me to differentiate them.
I'm going to admit that in real life, I'm an ass that likes to argue about everything. And my mind runs at a mile a minute when I'm alone and I argue with myself and criticize absolutely everything. But in my mind, I think that if you're going to do, say, or be anything, you've gotta have an argument for it. And by that, I mean anything. By that, I'm not saying you literally have to argue with someone every time you do anything, but you should be able to make an argument for yourself and come up with a critical analysis of why you're doing something. Marriage, lunch, choosing friends, listening to authority, religion... And in the absence of argument, the barebones acceptable thing in my eyes is just an understanding. I like various forms of music because of specific elements. I can't really argue for them, but it's still an understanding. I don't think a lot of people question as much as they do. I think a lot of my friends and family just do things because that's how it is. I'm not saying their stupid, nor am I saying I'm above them, but I know a good few that don't like questioning religion, don't like questioning the institution of marriage, don't like questioning the Constitution, don't like questioning how society views serial killers, and more importantly don't like questioning themselves. And I see this as something incredibly dangerous, because not questioning something is instant blindness and ignorance. I don't give my mother and father respect because it's unconditional love - I give them respect because they are very much worth respecting. I love them to death because they are great teachers, albeit with flaws. But that's my last unpopular opinion: Flaws are not inherently bad. Everything is flawed. Even the best things in our world have flaws. Flaws need to be fixed. There's always work to be done. You can't "finish" anything - nothing is ever perfect. Sometimes I'm labeled as a pessimist for seeing all of the bad in the world and having too many questions, but I feel I'm more of an optimist because I see things as being able to be better.
Racist and sexist jokes are hilarious and it's okay to be mildly racist
Racist and sexist jokes are hilarious and it's okay to be mildly racist
You can get away with a lot as long as the people know you are joking.
HA, someone said EA gets too much hate. No. They get just enough.
I'm more hyped about new World of Warcraft cinematics than new MMO games.
I think Filthy Frank is trying way too hard and isn't actually funny
I listen to Limp Bizkit...

I'm a shark in my underground fish tank and I don’t give a shit what those motherfuckers think.
Gold Cobra was an enjoyable album to listen to.
Ash Ketchum's voice is not annoying. At all.
I think Filthy Frank is trying way too hard and isn't actually funny

internet funny is not real funny. it's all in our heads.

including myself.

“@sethtd122: @FilthyFrank so you must be internet funny” that's the point dipshit

every internet comedian has this deep fear that they will never be real life funny. it keeps them up at night. lol.

those who actually end up being real-life-funny eventually make it out of the internet. it's all a race.

I'm not saying that I'm right.
