if you just said "I found it unfunny" I wouldn't care but you just insulted anyone who does find it funny Humor is subjective you know
I know it is. But i felt like just saying "i found it unfunny" didn't really show my true feelings on how unfunny i personally find the show.
If someone is determined to be "capable of work" yet no employers are willing to accommodate them or make reasonable adjustments for them I think it should be made far easier for them to secure a reasonable income via state support or whatever without being hassled all the time by the DWP or whatever the equivalent is elsewhere. I dunno the specifics on how such a thing could be implemented or means tested but it's just the principle that gets me. In fact, I think everyone should receive a basic guaranteed income irrespective of working situation but that's a different story and is not gonna happen anytime soon anyway.
Porn threads are weird.
I don't see why people hate porn threads so much, you don't have to go look at it. That said I can understand the hate towards the WTYOTM thread just because of how weird/odd/gross some of the stuff in there is. Kinda related to this, I find it annoying when people have double standards with some of the stuff on the Internet. For example there are people on here that think it's perfectly fine to harass others online and that they shouldn't be upset about it because it's just the internet and the person getting harassed can just turn off their computer, yet at the same time they find porn threads to be absolutely unacceptable. By harassment I mean actual harassment, not just calling someone a cunt while playing a game. What's really weird is when people talk about their kinks and fetishes IRL to people other than their partner, it's just so awkward. (Probably worded this post poorly but hopefully you get the idea)
Some people are just plain more open about this kind of stuff with other people. I treat WTYOTM like I do any other thread centered around sex: If you aren't comfortable with what's being posted in there then just ignore it. Its ultimately a harmless thread. Also, I should probably post some of my own unpopular opinions for once: I don't think the Assassin's Creed series as a whole is all that engaging. I find the gameplay shallow and uninteresting, and the story is just plain dumb and way too far up its own ass.
wh40k is bad and was written for 12 year olds nintendo cant make anything that looks decent anymore
It's called a camp atmosphere. WH40K is just supposed to be a ridiculous dumb-as-fuck ball of fun, and maturity isn't shunning everything that's not serious. Also what, is nintendo supposed to make hyper-realistic graphics rather than stylizing their games?
If someone is determined to be "capable of work" yet no employers are willing to accommodate them or make reasonable adjustments for them I think it should be made far easier for them to secure a reasonable income via state support or whatever without being hassled all the time by the DWP or whatever the equivalent is elsewhere. But the line has to be set somewhere for "reasonable", and for me that's where you're able to feed, clothe, and house yourself, but that's pretty much it. To keep it from reaching the point of people not getting jobs because they're receiving more income than a job would provide, a negative income tax system could be in place where no matter what, even if you have a shittiest job (not talking difficulty) with low hours and low pay, you'll be earning more than if you hadn't.
nintendo cant make anything that looks decent anymore
Assuming you mean graphically, then shut up. MK8 is fucking gorgeous.
no i mean it was literally written for 12 year olds to play the tabletop and get absorbed into the stupid lore
12 year olds usually aren't even the ones playing table top RPGs, it's pretty much an adult hobby and late teen hobby.
3d platformers are boring as shit, especially the ones where all you do is collect the things and stomp on the enemies
I'm guessing you're not a big fan of Mario. I've always thought The Legend of Zelda was better than Mario to begin with.
I do not understand people's obsession with creampies. Also the name for that is disgusting and it gives me a bit of a gag reflex for some reason.
and by decent i mean good games that look appealing to anyone who doesn't already inhale nintendo semen whenever they hear anything about nintendo
Can't agree there. I was never a huge Nintendo fan- I've barely played any Mario games except Sunshine, Galaxy and (part of) 64. When it comes to Zelda I've only finished WW and TP. I never got too into pokemon. MK8 is the only Mario Kart game I own. I've had no experience with Metroid or Yoshi games. I've only played 2 Kirby games. The list goes on. But really everything they showed at E3 genuinely appealed to me.
no super smash bros?
Oh no, I've played the shit out of those.
I do not understand people's obsession with creampies. Also the name for that is disgusting and it gives me a bit of a gag reflex for some reason.
Also why do americans think it's funny to throw/smear one in someone's face? I hate to generalize, but I've literally only ever seen americans do it or think it's funny
Also why do americans think it's funny to throw/smear one in someone's face? I hate to generalize, but I've literally only ever seen americans do it or think it's funny
They do similar shit here but replace a pie with a piece of cake thickly covered in cream.
Also why do americans think it's funny to throw/smear one in someone's face? I hate to generalize, but I've literally only ever seen americans do it or think it's funny
I don't think you two are thinking of the same kind of creampie, boyo.
I don't think you two are thinking of the same kind of creampie, boyo.
Holy shit I'm stupid
Also why do americans think it's funny to throw/smear one in someone's face? I hate to generalize, but I've literally only ever seen americans do it or think it's funny
It depends - it's usually to laugh at their reactions, but it only works for me if it's in person, the execution is unexpected, and their reaction is good. If I see it on TV or something it's not really that funny.
I honestly don't consider myself to be very good at posting, besides trying to help out others.
I'm honestly not even sure what exactly constitutes somebody as a "good poster." The way I see it, so long as you're not an insufferable prick, breaking rules, and all that kind of stuff, then I don't see the point in fretting over whether or not you meet some standard of "good posting." If it means anything, in the short amount of time I've actually paid active attention to the site, I've found you to be nothing but a really pleasant person in general.
Weddings, funerals, baby showers etc. are a waste of time and money.
Weddings, funerals, baby showers etc. are a waste of time and money.
I don't think social gatherings(Since you know, we are social creatures) for celebrations or mourning could be considered a waste but if you think they are, I can't imagine how you feel about a lot of other things.
Weddings, funerals, baby showers etc. are a waste of time and money.
Yeah damn those people loving each other, or caring for those they've lost. I'll just sit in my trenchcoat here, stupid plebs!
I don't think social gatherings(Since you know, we are social creatures) for celebrations or mourning could be considered a waste but if you think they are, I can't imagine how you feel about a lot of other things.
Well, I guess technically they are a "waste", you don't get anything tangible. But by that logic many "other" things are a waste.
I will agree that the cost of funerals can be rather ridiculous.
I will agree that the cost of funerals can be rather ridiculous.
There's a whole industry based around it basically, honestly it's really goddamn disgusting.
the cost of funerals can be pretty crazy but funerals themselves aren't a bad idea, but one thing I hate about them is how bleak they are. Funerals should be a celebration of the person's life
That goes for any of those events though. The average American wedding costs 30 thousand dollars. Are you kidding me?
That goes for any of those events though. The average American wedding costs 30 thousand dollars. Are you kidding me?
Yeah but unless you're some kind of promiscuous retard then you won't be having more than a couple of weddings. I've dated a few women who have basically stated that their wedding is the one big day that they look forward to. 30k to realize your most closely held dreams, in addition to being a family wide celebration, isn't that much.
I really dislike that the pc gaming master race /v/ meme is being taken seriously by PC gamers
Kim Kardashian's wedding was probably in the millions, and it was most likely paid off with advertisers and sponsors. Now that's bullshit.
talk shit about Kimmy K and i will fight you IRL ------------------------ wow Andrew "Dice" Clay is unfunny, he was once on this one off thing on I think Channel 4 called "Top 100 Comedians", but for some reason the only person they had to talk about him(probably the only one that knew him, it was a UK public voted list) was Tommy Tiernan(who is great) and he just pretty much said how shit he was. so i went and checked a bit of his stuff out...it was soooo bad yet he seems to be pretty well liked. The only good thing he ever done was be sampled on Unbelievable by EMF
