The first freakout kid video was totally real.
I don't think there's anything wrong with being fat.
Yes it's unhealthy, to be sure, but someone else's health is none of my business unless they either choose to involve me in it or it poses an immediate threat to them, or they're a loved one. And yes, we should encourage people to lose weight, but we need to do that in a more positive manner. We shouldn't harass, insult, and laugh at them. That isn't helpful, in fact you're probably making things a whole lot worse.
Yeezus wasn't bad
It wasn't amazing and was a bit over-hyped but that's peoples fault for always getting over-hyped

The music site Pitchfork held a reader's poll at the end of 2013, and Yeezus won Best Album, Most Overrated, and Most Underrated.
Well the biggest difference between the two is that TiA has a considerably more annoying voice, so if you know the person I'm comparing him too then you should know enough to understand it. And he and the people who watch him certainly seem to think most of his shit should be taken seriously.
Honestly I'd attribute that to poor audio quality, sounds like it's done on some gaming headset or something. If you wanna buy him a blue yeti and a pop filter and mail it to him it'd probably be a whole lot better.
I love all the cool unnecessary gadgets that people use to dress up steampunk. Cogs and wheels and stuff are really cool when displayed together like that, it doesn't have to serve a purpose but to look awesome and give you that steampunk feel.
I see the difference between 30FPS and 60FPS, but I don't give a shit.
I do not understand the appeal in Spongebob. I personally just find it really stupid
I don't really see any reason to deny the fact that a good portion of the gaming community is full of incessant crybabies who can't handle anything out of the norm, and this is something that has to change.

Who also have an explosive temper and a tendency to scream profanities at you.

Not around this forum, sadly.
I legitimately think long, black trenchcoats are wicked awesome and I wish I had one.
I think that David Graeber pretty much nails it in this article: http://strikemag.org/bullshit-jobs/
Exerpt:
in our society, there seems a general rule that, the more obviously one’s work benefits other people, the less one is likely to be paid for it. Again, an objective measure is hard to find, but one easy way to get a sense is to ask: what would happen were this entire class of people to simply disappear? Say what you like about nurses, garbage collectors, or mechanics, it’s obvious that were they to vanish in a puff of smoke, the results would be immediate and catastrophic. A world without teachers or dock-workers would soon be in trouble, and even one without science fiction writers or ska musicians would clearly be a lesser place. It’s not entirely clear how humanity would suffer were all private equity CEOs, lobbyists, PR researchers, actuaries, telemarketers, bailiffs or legal consultants to similarly vanish. (Many suspect it might markedly improve.) Yet apart from a handful of well-touted exceptions (doctors), the rule holds surprisingly well.
Oh no

Wanna know what else is stupid? Squirrels.
Valve is a shitty, lazy company that doesn't even make games anymore.
I will call out Valve for shenanigans, but evidence makes it clear that Source 2 is in the works.

Valve is overrated as hell. Plus they ported a few of their games to consoles for a quick buck then never ever bothered to patch them once despite them being broken as fuck.

Didn't EA do it for them? Could be wrong though

EA published, but they didn't make the ports.

What else? Texas.
What else? Texas.
Whatchall say 'bout Texas?
Jim Sterling is rad.
Strawberry flavored anything is disgusting. Mainly milk and ice cream. [sp]strawberries themselves are delicious, so idk[/sp]
Having no weapons and not being able to fight your enemies with weapons can be pretty awesome. It frustrates others, but that's a totally believable scenario and can really add tension.

Well, it does say quite a bit about gaming journalism. But goddamn the SH thread has reached like 35 pages by now, staying out of that.
In a perfect world all writers would be willing to say "I shouldn't be writing articles on this topic, as I would have a bias, somebody else should do it"

I have looked at that thread numerous times as well as a bunch of other stuff and I honestly can't say I even know or understand what the people on Zoe's side argument is
it really has been the most confusing clusterfuck of an issue
