A lot of the ones under "traditional" sounds like regular to hard rock or my sense of genre's out of tune like a fifth grade music class. What exactly differs rock from metal? [editline]Check this riff. It's fscking tasty.[/editline] You're also lacking the obligatory Judas Priest). And Grave Digger (there's like three different versions of the linked song from different bands) if you're into the harder stuff, Stratovarius if you like your metal lighter, or Helloween for mixed tastes. You'd also check with Infab if you want any more info on metal, as he's the go-to.
yea not gonna lie I'm pretty weak on any Priest stuff that isn't from painkiller, all the rest are also good suggestions and for differing metal from hard rock there is no real criteria (other than being heavier), it's just an overall vibe you get from the music
My unpopular opinion is that if you can't detect sarcasm on the internet you should have your net license revoked. "Ma'am, we've received word that you didn't think what your husband said on Facebook was sarcastic. I'm sorry, but we can't let you use the internet any more."
Counter point, I don't think sarcasm should be used on the internet at all unless you use italics, boldface, or quotation marks where appropriate to denote the sarcasm. It's not the reader's fault that an amassment of pixels on a screen are unable to convey any sense of true emotion and can be used to lie so very easily.

"nooooo. sarcasm."
half the fun of sarcasm is the people that don't understand that you're using sarcasm.
Its hard for people to tell when they have a low opinion of the sarcastic poster.
i've read this post at least 30 times and i still don't get it
Gotta cut down on posting when a bit tired.
I hate zelda/mario/pokemon games.
Its hard for people to tell people have a low opinion of the sarcastic poster.
i've read this post at least 30 times and i still don't get it it's hard for people, referring to facepunch, to tell people, referring to facepunch again, for them, facepunch(??), to have a low opinion of THE sarcastic poster? referring to me?
I thought the third Carmageddon game was pretty great
gay dudes have the most annoying voices
I don't find any of the game ideas for Thefineyoungcapitalists the least bit interesting.
gay dudes have the most annoying voices
I'm assuming you mean the stereotypical gay voice. Otherwise I am pretty sure alot of gay people have the same voice as you would use.
I thought the third Carmageddon game was pretty great
On the same subject, I think Carmageddon 2 is a fucking terrible game. Feels like I'm playing a leaked beta of a game.
Because fat greasy neckbeards like jacking off to it
i've never had so much guilt after a wank before
The controversy surrounding The Stomping Land is actually a good thing because there isn't enough doubt surrounding the Early Access model.
The controversy surrounding The Stomping Land is actually a good thing because there isn't enough doubt surrounding the Early Access model.
Valve should really have some part of responsibility when it comes to Early Access. What's the point in buying stuff from a big company like Valve if they provide no guarantees whatsoever and their store is a free market nightmare? More responsibility would motivate them not to publish crap from untrustworthy devs. At least they offer refunds when the game is a literal scam, but this shit should never be in the store in the first place.

It's not Valve's fault you bought it in Early Access". Considering blatantly misleading games have shown up on Early Access, and Steam itself as full games, someone has to buy them to know they are shit in the first place. Apparently asking Valve to check games before they sell them is, for some unfathomable reason, impossible.
i don't like meerkats i have always found them ugly and unappealing creatures in general

Shit games being pushed into stores with no seal of quality or anything. Not saying it'll kill steam or anything but it'll probably hurt. And while today you can look up information on a game to see if it's good you really shouldn't have to, or at least you should be able to get a game that fucking works for your money.
Cod series is degrading now, their cod ghosts suck.
Cod series is degrading now, their cod ghosts suck.
that's the infinity ward games in my opinion, I bought black ops, and then MW3, black ops 2, and skipped ghosts. Advanced wars isn't treyarch but I'll give it a shot.
Though I don't really know where you're jumping in from, metal is super diverse so there's bound to be something you really like. The difficulty is finding that thing when there are an insane amount of bands out there.
This is true with any media though. You just have to resign yourself to the fact that you're going to have to slog through a mountain of trash and stuff that doesn't appeal to you if you want to find something that does.
Counter point, I don't think sarcasm should be used on the internet at all unless you use italics, boldface, or quotation marks where appropriate to denote the sarcasm. And bold and quotes don't often fit in sarcasm either. The best way to figure out if something is sarcasm or not would be to know the posting habits of the person posting and pay close attention to how the post is worded.
Here's something really unpopular: I like almost all music from classical to dubstep. No idea why and how people limit themselves to a single genre, or even worse, a single artist. After which they'll argue how "their" music is better.
I generally listen to anything as long as it's good. Rap and dubstep can be good, but it's very rare. Generally best avoided. Not hopeless, though. EDIT: This song I'm fond of
I generally listen to anything as long as it's good.
I hate this phrase, of course you'll listen to something if you think its good, the thing about objectivity is that not everyone else will think it is. "I have a varied music taste" makes more sense
A week ago I hated pewdiepie. Then a Swedish friend suggested I'd watch one. And to be honest, some of his videos are legit funny if you leave out the ass/nipple cringey shit. please don't kill me

For the most part, a high IQ means almost nothing at all. Every other week some "genius child" is discovered and it's always touted in the same way, "wunderkind has higher IQ than Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking combined! Mega big brain child!! OMG!!!" Wow, big woop. Does the kid have anything to show for it other than a big number? If Stephen Hawking contributed absolutely nothing to science and was just some paralyzed guy with a really high IQ, would he even matter? A high IQ means nothing if you have nothing to show for it.
A week ago I hated pewdiepie. Then a Swedish friend suggested I'd watch one. [sp]just kidding boyo, that's your opinion and nobody can tell you whether it's right or wrong[/sp]
I tried to say it in a way to not appear like a total belieber fanboy.
