Left-wing and right-wing are bullshit terms for stupid sheeple people.
you just used them both
What is "trap rap" anyway? Does it start out sounding like a slow, gentle classical piece, then you start hearing deep bass thumps and a man saying "SHIT NIGGA BITCH TITTY MOTHAFUCKIN' PO-PO" in a loosely rhythmic manner?
If it's got a shitty audio watermark at the start of it so you know which generic producer created it it's probably trap rap. or if it has guys in the background shouting HAY HAY HAY HAY HAY HAY HAY HAY HAY or it has that air horn
Music genres thoroughly confuse me and I have no idea how people can keep track of all of them.

I love it's over use of nigga and I love BRRR! [editline]6th September 2014[/editline] also Migos entire hooks being 1 phrase repeated over and over it's awesome though
Music genres thoroughly confuse me and I have no idea how people can keep track of all of them.
I think for the most part worrying about genres is a bit counterproductive. Past the overarching general ones (metal, rap, hip-hip, whatever else) getting more and more specific doesn't really accomplish much at all. And for the people who seem to care most about such specific genre names they only seem to get more and more entrenched in their opinions on a given genre the most specific you get.
i'm pretty sure metal has at least 10 billion sub genres
Music genres thoroughly confuse me and I have no idea how people can keep track of all of them.
That's why all I do is pick songs I like. If I sorted all my songs I listen to into genres there'd be heaps.
Subgenres are useful to describe what a band sounds like. Simply saying that it's "metal" for example isn't very informative. But yeah I've never sorted songs by genre. I'm already having enough trouble finding a not-too-broad-yet-not-too-specific genre when I tag them.
This is the most ignorant, immature, and childish opinion on rap.
Or it was a joke. Which I'm pretty sure it was.
Hard to tell with 14 year olds.
And it gets more prominent the further south you get in the US.
??? Hip hop and country are moving closer together, and quite a few people down here listen to "party rap" as I might call it. If you ask me it's mid-upper class people who think that. Pretty frustrating is I try to introduce someone to hip hop and they can't get past the whole "it's all about saying nigga and partying"
getting more and more specific doesn't really accomplish much at all.
Good luck finding more of the same sound if you're not gonna dig into sub genres
Good luck finding more of the same sound if you're not gonna dig into sub genres
Uh, I think you might be misunderstanding what I mean. I simply mean that getting too specific on genres seems to end up being more counterproductive than anything. When you have several genres and you can't even tell that they're different genres that's an issue with being way too specific.

The thing with that tho is that people who are really into those sub genres can usually tell them apart
Hard to tell with 14 year olds.
why you gotta be like that

When you have several genres and you can't even tell that they're different genres that's an issue with being way too specific.
For a lot of people they help to find music easier, piling on subgrenes helps people find what they want easier and helps to describe what the band sounds like. I don't see how it could be counterproductive, for example describing something as "progressive thrash metal" vs "metal" helps people who know the difference more easily classify the sound. If they don't know, then it doesn't really affect them either way.
This is the most ignorant, immature, and childish opinion on rap.
that is what trap rap is though lol source: i listen to rap
why you gotta be like that
jokin mayn ily

Magical Mystery Tour is The Beatles best album, not Sgt. Peppers.
Magical Mystery Tour is The Beatles best album, not Sgt. Peppers.
I don't like The Beatles
I always loved Beatles 1. Has Sgt. Peppers been rated their best before?
People always go on about Sgt. Pepper's being their best album. I honestly prefer either Magical Mystery Tour or The White Album over it.
I played it some recently, it's actually pretty fun!
I don't like The Beatles
The Beetles are good but way overrated.
I like the taste of energy drinks. I don't get them nearly at all because I know they're pretty much poison, but I like them.

I defend Pewdiepie in discussions even when I'm having no interest in his comments nor do I follow his content.
