Dub was inevitably going to get himself perma'd.
95% of people in the world can be at least a 5/10 on the attractiveness scale. Most ugly people are ugly because they haven't put any effort in.

Bro you'll look like 100x better if you try just a little. oh and fuck the argument "I shouldn't spend all this money trying to impress shallow people!". It's not expensive for christs sake, a haircut is like 10-20$ dollars every couple of months, or you can learn to do it yourself, which is free as fuk. Clothes are only expensive if you want them to be, and if you want to be super-super cheap, there's goodwill as well.

It's bad. Put some effort in for fucks sake.
I think Dub!'s ban that lead to the banme was unfair as Renegade was also, indeed flaming, to get that reaction out of dub. Honestly I think he should've gotten atleast a little time of banning.
The dude was a jackass and refused to learn from his mistakes
I don't think they really should be afforded many luxuries from other people's money, but I do definitely support a negative income tax that's sufficient to pay for housing, car, and food.
Indeed a Basic Income (whether implemented via Negative Income Tax or otherwise) would ideally be set at a point that would still leave an incentive to work for luxuries but be enough to take care of what you said (housing, food, etc.). If someone spent their Basic Income on luxuries and ended up not being able to afford the basics of survival they'd just end up in debt like people who misspend their benefits do now. The means testing system penalises savers and those who spend all their money as soon as they get it on shit are awarded the highest rates - it basically incentivises financial irresponsibility. Wires are better than wireless
Wires are better than wireless
Depends on what it is, phones are much better without wires
I did not enjoy Frozen
I liked the Avatar movie. (The Last Airbender)
tf2 is bad
I thought Infinite was an excellent game, same as the rest but they made some really stupid decision, like upgrades not changing your guns visuals. Did anyone even use the rebels weapons? I sure as hell didn't.
The only reason they didn't add visuals to the upgrades is because it would make no sense. Unlike Bioshock 1 where you keep the same weapons the whole time, Infinite has you constantly changing out weapons. If I upgraded the hand cannon, replaced it for a sniper for a while, then got another hand cannon later on, it would be kinda weird that it looks the same as the upgraded one I dropped a while ago. [editline]17th September 2014[/editline]
tf2 is bad
TF2 isn't really bad, the main issue is with the horrid fanbase
tf2 is bad
say that on the tf2 subforum and then everyone will freak out :v:
Beer is nasty
It's an acquired taste, as my father once said.
I'm not much of a beer guy but cold beer is fucking gross.
I'm not much of a beer guy but cold beer is fucking gross.
Uh, it's supposed to be cold, that's when it's the best. Have you ever tasted warm beer? Now THAT'S gross.
Alcohol as a whole is terrible, and I don't mean it tastes bad.
Skyrim is one of those games that you can play for hours and hours, but the more you play, the more you realize just how shit it is. But that doesn't really stop you from playing.
tf2 is bad
tf2 was better before there was trading
It's an acquired taste, as my father once said.
Acquired in this context means "forced to like it" or "forcing yourself to like it"
Skyrim is one of those games that you can play for hours and hours, but the more you play, the more you realize just how shit it is. But that doesn't really stop you from playing.
Except when it crashes for no reason in particular.
Except when it crashes for no reason in particular.
That's Bethesda games as a whole, i've never managed to play through one of their games without a crash, usually a multitude of them.
tf2 was better before there was trading
tf2 was better before the community took creative control.
Wires are better than wireless
In my opinion wired will always be superior until we figure out how to properly do wireless power transfer for wireless objects. [del](Except in the case of something like cellphones but even then it would benefit from it since you could just walk around town or something and have your cellphone charging.)[/del]
Is Cellphone wireless charging really that good?
Actually that was poor wording on my part and I'm not sure why I even added it since it falls under the first part I said. I meant after we properly figured out wireless power transfer.
i also think skyrim has no potential, morrowind is the best tes game so far
i also think skyrim has no potential, morrowind is the best tes game so far
Morrowind is fun but it's too easy to break. Why do any work for your skills when you can just shit out a bunch of fortify intelligence potions and make drinks that'll let you kill everyone in one hit and run at sanic speed?
breaking doesn't matter, it's the story, music, and playabillity. you don't have to drink lots of potions and win the game in 4 minutes. you can enjoy every part of it.

Well, it's true though. Skyrim is a significant downgrade from Morrowind or even Oblivion to a degree. Yeah, it LOOKS better, combat is better and the game functions better but everything is so much simpler. Dungeons are more linear (as in, hallway with back exit and not sprawling ruin to get lost in), dumbed down skills, dumbed down armor customization, the works. It's happened with others games but it's most obvious with Skyrim; the more a dev focuses on upping the ante with graphics (though somehow wanting to still lock it to 30fps), the more the rest of the game suffers. The dungeons look better, but they're not as long.
