The impression that I get from people who type without any sort of capitalization or punctuation at all is someone who is trying to hard to seem like they don't care. Your presentation is your tone and attitude. That's like a basic part of communication and is far from something "superficial". Words alone do not communicate, context, tone, and presentation along with the words communicate your greater idea.
There's a huuuge difference between sitting at your computer with a thesaurus and grammar guide trying to act all 'smart' when you just come off as a pretentious dickbag. But generally speaking adding some punctuation at the end of your sentences and capitalization at the start of your sentences every now and then isn't going to hurt anyone, and in fact when you are being sarcastic/passive agressive/whatever other tone you want to get across people will most likely actually be able to understand you.
lmao man chill who cares it's a forum
I'm probably going to be Ron Swanson for Halloween.

what a great response thanks man you got me
I'm not sure if there are any Star Trek fans in here, but, Nemesis was a horrible film. Also, First Contact (even though Guinan wasn't included for some reason) was the only good Star Trek movie from the TNG era.
Also, Benedict Cumberbatch does not look attractive. He looks like an alien disguised as a person, like he's some kind of extra-terrestrial interloper, and I will stand by that statement. He is definitely not human.

he's made at least 10 posts on profile telling me how terrible I am
I couldn't care less about Pokémans.

Generations had it's moments, and I'd take Nemesis any day over fucking Insurrection, Christ what an awful movie it would even make an awful episode.

Oh god, yes, Insurrection was awful! I sometimes wonder why it wasn't just a two-parter episode instead of a full fledged film.

I saw First Contact recently. My only exposure to TNG outside of pop culture osmosis is a few episodes watched when I was too young to really remember them but I liked the film.
My own Star Trek guilty pleasure is I like Kate Mulgrew's voice.

Coincidentally I'm currently trapped on SF Debris' website.
Emulation is pretty ehhhhh. The game doesn't run the same, and even worse is the fact that the control input is different, which can literally kill several games such as centipede.
It's great to have to preserve old games, but if possible it's always better to play on the original hardware. Or at the very least with the original controller plugged in.

Emulation's especially cool when the experience is emulated as well. Homebrew on the Wii or home-built arcade cabinets for example. It's something that a lot of people strive for when they get into MAME as a hobby.
[editline]e[/editline]
Though not as cool, there are cases where emulation can allow for impressive cabs.

I'd totally build one of these if I could. If only the Raspberry Pi was powerful enough to run CRT-style shaders with it too.

Emulators for older systems are getting really advanced now. SNES emulators are accurate enough that you can record gameplay on an emulator and then feed the input through a bot to an actual copy of the game on a real SNES and have it play back exactly the same.
I don't mind intense cuteness. I guess I can see the problem with it when it's shallow, but for the most part, I'd rather come across my little pony art or an idol singer than some hot topic rebel prick severing their head. Fuck off.

Depends on the context really. A dark uber edgy art-style fits some occasions.
Though often cute/very cartooney characters can convey emotion better imo, probably because their more stylized design allows for features to be exaggerated.
I've never read Calvin & Hobbes, and I can't share the nostalgia others get when they read it.
You poor soul.
Does anyone honestly give a shit if Pluto was classified as a dwarf planet? Honestly? I don't. Life moves on. Besides, it's a rock covered with ice sitting on the outskirts of our solar system. It might look pretty up close, but there isn't anything interesting about it.
C&C Zero Hour > Every other C&C game

I think that people in jobs should have a limited amount of smoking breaks.
I don't know if its just the place i've worked at or not but they cause loads of problems at the worst of times.
Going for one when its busy.
Going for one just as an excuse to not do something.
Using it as an actual food break.
And yet people who don't have the bad habit have to suffer with the busy work, the extra stuff to do and just less breaks in general.

I think euthanasia is okay as long as there is absolutely no safe, healthy alternative and the patient is experiencing nothing but suffering and agony with no hope for recovery. Sort of like putting a senior on hospice care because they're done with life and ready to pass away.

Nemesis could have used a lot of work, but the ending was wicked good [sp]and Data's sacrifice and death made me cry[/sp]. First Contact is and always will be my favorite TNG film because the Borg are my all-time favorite Star Trek villains.

To me, it just comes down to whether the individual wants it or not. There's no reason to force someone to continue to live if he wants his life to end at all costs. Besides, if it comes down to it they'd probably find another way to commit suicide, so why not provide them with a safe and painless way to do it?

god I hate those pics that are like all the planets hugging and pluto left out like, yeah cool, but who gives a shit there are tons of other icy rocks in the outskirts of the universe that are even bigger than pluto
im not totally sure if this is unpopular because im not a big star trek guy but i absolutely love the JJ abrams star trek films
Valve's gunplay is fucking awful in all of their games.
American Horror Story isn't scary, but it's still awesome. I know a lot of people who say that it's one of the worst shows on TV.
Even last season's "Coven" storyline was a lot of fun. I can't wait for "Freak Show".
I didn't really enjoy the "Coven" series, I really enjoyed the "Asylum" however, really can't wait for Freak Show either!

Seee im the complete opposite.
I loved the first Season.
Asylum was really boring to me.
Coven was amazing.
