Valve's gunplay is fucking awful in all of their games.
Actually, I find them all to be basic. CS:GO is actually one of the most unique of the lot in terms of aiming (or recoil, w/e) imo.
People that say WoW is dying are enormous fuckwits.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare isn't the best CoD, Black Ops 2 is.
god I hate those pics that are like all the planets hugging and pluto left out like, yeah cool, but who gives a shit there are tons of other icy rocks in the outskirts of the universe that are even bigger than pluto
I'm fairly sure that Pluto isn't in the outskirts of our universe. It's in our local solar system which is why it's so relevant compared to a planet which would be thousands of lightyears away.

Both the Left Wing and Right Wing have things I agree and disagree with
Both the Left Wing and Right Wing have things I agree and disagree with
Welcome to being reasonable.
There are larger objects in the kuiper belt.
Idk, everything I've checked upon reading this post has simply confirmed what I said. There are objects larger than Pluto that likely came from it, but that doesn't really count [editline]3rd October 2014[/editline] My astronomy is pretty poor in general though
I don't find Freeman's Mind to be funny at all, just a dull attempt at a let's play.
Valve's gunplay is fucking awful in all of their games.
i agree but TF2's gunplay is p great. [editline]2nd October 2014[/editline]
I don't find Freeman's Mind to be funny at all, just a dull attempt at a let's play.
it's not really funny but it's entertaining.
People that say WoW is dying are enormous fuckwits.
WoW is dying with its millions of subscribers, loyal fans, and upcoming expansion. People who say WoW is "stupid and dying" are complete nobheads who seem to forget that the game is doing extremely well for an MMO that's ten years old.
I don't find Freeman's Mind to be funny at all, just a dull attempt at a let's play.
Freeman's Mind started before Let's Plays became mainstream.
Freeman's Mind started before Let's Plays became mainstream.
And it used to be funny but they're on episode, what, like 70 something now? Kinda going too far with the same gimmick.
A movie, video game, manga, book, and pretty much any other form of entertainment isn't racist/sexist/mysogonistic/anti-semetic isn't any of those things unless it's the creator's direct intent on converting you to believe in his views.
A movie, video game, manga, book, and pretty much any other form of entertainment isn't racist/sexist/mysogonistic/anti-semetic isn't any of those things unless it's the creator's direct intent on converting you to believe in his views.
entertainment (and basically anything a human being can create) can be made by biased people, which may contain unintentional misogyny, racism, sexism, etc. the only time a piece of entertainment is deliberately sexist, racist, misogynistic, or anti semitic is if the writers want to address some kind of issue, and usually they try to make it fit into their own universe with their own characters, instead of it being some dumb PSA for the kids at home. [editline]2nd October 2014[/editline] like, example, big bo in binary domain. which is more likely, big bo's horrible stereotypical characterization being a result of: a) deliberate, conscious attempt to showcase their views of black people b) their writers being one of the following: lazy/stupid/uninformed, and thus created a somewhat offensive character accidentally

oh shit dude i just remembered an unpopular opinion i wanted to post months ago. this one is kind of left field, so get PREPARED okay, a bit of background: remember that one thread in SH about the date rape drug nail polish, and how women could dip that shit in a drink to see if it's spiked? http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1420971 (check out all those funny "i hate tumblr" memes on the first few pages made by people who just refused to read beyond the shit posted on r/tumblrinaction btw, that's a post for another day tho) by the time i actually read the thread it was pretty much dead so i didn't get a chance to post what i thought about it, so here it goes! i don't agree that the fingernail date rape fingernail whatever polish is some kind of groundbreaking invention, and i think the people who shat on other FPers (and tumblr people) for thinking what i think are really shortsighted. for one, i have beef with the belief that some gimmicky nail polish (that can't be sealed, meaning it'll get all messy everywhere) is a dramatic leg up for women. it's not, at all. we really need to stop perpetuating this wrong-ass belief that most of rape is committed by strangers in bars or scary guys with knives in alleyways. rape, like murder, is pretty much almost always committed by somebody who has a personal connection with the victim. even if this nailpolish blew up to the point where everyone who wore nailpolish put it on every day, the number of people it'd save wouldn't be that noticeable. nail polish won't fix much in a society where a disturbing number students have gotten away with rape because they're sports stars, and where colleges treat plagiarism as a worse crime than rape.
but i like the edit line
I think we should completely cut Africa off from all travel, imports, and exports until this ebola outbreak passes. The more we contain it, the better, because there are already people getting sick in America here and there. It's a little extreme, but is losing more people and letting the virus spread rampantly throughout first-world countries really a better alternative?
Well who knows how long that could take? At least they screen people before flights.
Well who knows how long that could take? At least they screen people before flights.
http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1428455 people can lie during the screenings and the checks like this guy :c
unpopular Facepunch opinion: automerge fucks up for so many people in some way or another they should revamp it, retool it, or disable it. There's an enormous amount of 'woops my automerge' that occurs despite the problem being very easily solved by avoiding double posting and just editing your last post. It should be changed to avoid this, in whatever way possible. People should be encouraged to edit their last post rather than get into the habit of double posting and risking fucking up a finnicky system that doesn't always work.
We should keep the [editline] [/edltline] tag. There really aren't any reason to say "my merge" because 99% of time people will understand that they are in relation It's also annoying when people stop those "broken" merges
Gears of war was pretty meh.

Copy the thread into a text editor with the codes and all, and always have an editable version. Knowing Garry it probably won't get fixed any time soon, so a workaround is needed.
Freeman's Mind started before Let's Plays became mainstream.
I don't care.
there's nothing immoral about eugenics in the right hands. having a baby is not a human right.
I guess it at least seems like an unpopular opinion on FP, but there's a thread in SH about this kid that had a threesome with two of his teachers. Absolutely abhorrent and there are people trying to defend it and say that those teachers didn't abuse their power in any way, shape, or form.
