It was just one mistake. Or two. Meh, who cares.
So what if it was one mistake?
The best way to learn is to learn from your mistakes.
Brink had a far better parkour system than Mirror's Edge, it just didn't make full use of it.
I'll go one step further and say that Brink was a pretty okay game that just launched too early and to the wrong market.

Also overmarketed to hell. Should have been a $30 multiplayer-only downloadable.
The Bureau was much better back in 2010.
I don't care for GOB

Agreed, Brink in and of itself was a very solid title, it just got too much hype to live up to, and had some optimization issues on release. Honestly aside from being dead it's pretty good. Although as I said before the maps don't make good enough use of the parkour system.

Basically my first thought
"Deep&Hard" from CoD4 is as good or better than "Still Alive" from Portal.
I just love 4th wall stuff.
Disney is overrated, Max Fleischer was more of a pioneer, Warner Bros. is the best.
THERE! I SAID IT!
Insisting everything is fundamentally broken and needs to be demolished is not going to solve anything.
Portal 2 wasn't even that good
Garry is Hitler
Starting from scratch when you have an available foundation is almost invariably a bad idea.
I prefer reform to revolution.
coca-cola is absolutely disgusting and just feels awful to drink. so does most soda, but coke is the worst
agree/10
it literally tastes and feels like paint thinner. too acidic. pepsi's much better, despite it being a little bit too sweet.
I prefer reform to revolution.
I agree completely, revolutionaries ignore how damaging revolution itself is upon the very society they are trying to change
There is a such thing as too far left and a few users here fall under that category.
Public nudity can be disruptive and hazardous in the wrong environments and should be contained to areas that are environmentally and culturally suited for it, "individual rights" be damned.
I don't like it when it is sunny out, I'd rather always have overcast and rain.
I hate the ocean, it's too big and scary and hot and filled with people.
I hate optimists and visionaries.
I'd be fine if my spouse said they used to be another sex and just hug them really hard.
I have zero empathy for cheaters or anything similar, and their reasons for cheating do not change that, ever.

You know, statistically speaking there's fewer people per square km/mile in the ocean than on land. :v:
I'm for the idea of asymptotic gender equality where the difference between men and women are entirely ignored, even if that interferes with or eliminates a few things that exist soley for men or women.
I think the extreme ends of masculinity and femininity are stupid and toxic and society as a whole should be more androgynous.

Well, at least on the shores and down in R'lyeh.

I like you.
I like you very much.
Let's skip through a rainy field together.
And then we can snuggle into a ball all wrapped up in a waterproof tarp and let the plinky sounds of rain againt plastic whisk us away into dreamland.

Excellent idea
I feel that exact same way about rain. I like sunny days when I'm biking, jogging, or seeing outdoor concerts but rain is so relaxing otherwise. It's the best when you get done with a long day and it just starts to pour and you hear it plinking against your windows. Best time to curl up with a good book.

The thing I like about the cold weather is that I don't sweat.
Most Facepunchers seem to fucking worship soldiers who release secret information. As a former Army infantryman, I see these men as traitors. While they mostly seem to release small things or videos of unfortunate collateral, but rare instances can occur where they will release positions or patrols.
I don't know, I just don't like these guys.

Having been born in a military family, I agree with you. They are traitors and nothing more.
Facepunch has too much of a hardon for Vladimir Putin.

Could be, but it's only a joke.
I don't think there's many here that actually LIKE Putin.

Putin is like Obama for me. He would be a swell guy if he wasn't in so much power. The difference is Putin can't handle power and Obama is just mediocre.
[editline]10th June 2013[/editline]
I wouldn't mind having a beer with either of them.

I think in cases like this current one with the guy who fled to Hong Kong, they were in the right. Although in the case of revealing positions or patrols I'd agree with you, it'd be wrong to potentially give away the military's position to the enemy and risk the lives of many people.
