Are people really being elitist over who has facial hair or who doesn't? Move along everybody, holy crap. In other news, I think a lot of the car/automotive crowd to be exactly the same, super elitist and obnoxious.
its not to do with literally just having a beard its the mentality and shitty ass subculture that has formed around it smh
its not to do with literally just having a beard its the mentality and shitty ass subculture that has formed around it smh
i think that the manly man thing on the internet isn't really super misogynistic (in a lot of cases, i'm just talking about the meme shit right now), it's just downright cringeworthy, mostly the beard thing and bacon shit. some dudes will look fucking amazing with a beard and a baby without, and a lot of dudes look like shit with beards and good without them. then there's all this MEAT and MANLY and PICTURES OF 40's STRONG MEN subculture shit that's so dumb and superficial that it's basically just became a fucking meme. what's interiently manly about eating meat and smelling like fucking motor oil? and as a result, people caricaturize characters like ron swanson from parks and rec as "bacon, cigar, beard, manual labor, STEAK, MANLY!!!, WHISKEY!!" which is really upsetting.
I think JonTron is an overrated and unfunny shithead

I live by the standard that I can be masculine or feminine and you can't tell me I'm "less of a man" for smelling like cocoa butter even though I have a big fucking beard. Those "beard culture'" people tend to not take proper care of their facial hair, they don't trim properly, don't shower it or shampoo it correctly, and they smell like straight piss cause they don't wash.
People who leave ketchup out and not in a fridge are worse than hitler and should be culled.
I'm growing a beardstache so I can look like James Hetfield this Halloween v:v:v
Sounds like someone can't grow a beard.
I think that's pretty much exactly what he was talking about.
Skyfall is one of the best 007 movies ever
well, I look like I've been shoved through a meat grinder if I leave my beard to grow out so I just shave it whenever.
People who leave ketchup out and not in a fridge are worse than hitler and should be culled.
I prefer my Ketchup not to be chilled. Fight me.
Skyfall is one of the best 007 movies ever
most of them are pretty trash Casino Royale is the best one followed by Skyfall
You cant force a workplace to become more diverse. If the applicants aren't there, you shouldnt lower the standards.
On the James Bond subject, I'm going to say that all of Daniel Craig's movies are pretty awful, the worst of all being Skyfall. It isn't Craig's fault, he's a good actor, I just don't think he's a good fit for James Bond, and Skyfall was absolutely incomprehensible. I walked away from it completely confused and disappointed. My favorite Bond and my favorite movie is Goldeneye 007, though. All of Pierce Brosnan's Bond films are pretty great.
what i mean is (disclaimer i dont mean literally everyone with a beard falls under this in case anyone wants to call me out on that lol) Aside it being obnoxious and annoying and lame as fuck, it's sexist because there are a lot of people (dont say there arent i know several people irl who are exactly like this and also people like Epic Meal Time and stuff who are like online celebs) who literally pride themselves off the ability to grow a beard as a genuine part of their character that makes them better than anyone else and anyone who can't isn't a proper man, or they're a baby, or gay. When i said "shave like a real man (u don't!!)", I meant that the "real man" way to shave is to not shave, and have a beard. As if not having a beard makes you less of a man. Which people think. A lot of people. Which is misogynistic. Because growing a beard is something that, generally, only males can do. And to build a superiority in something that only you can do, literally because you're a man, is at least passively misogynistic, as you're then insulting people for not being able to grow a beard by comparing them to women. Cos women are "inferior". That shit is woman-hating. But as I said it's the whole culture surrounding it as well. I hate the concept of a "real man", I think it's false and disgusting and unhealthy and creates a box that restricts men to being what they want to be, it's damaging and creates this whole idea of "you have to be tough, you can't cry, you gotta be logical, not emotional", it's THE reason for misogyny, not to mention it's also homophobic as it's all about being as far from being female as possible and being homosexual means you're attracted to men which makes you "less of a man". also the 50's aesthetic and sailor tatts etc are lame af too lol
So what your telling me is literally the singular fact that I can grow a beard and am proud of that makes me a woman-hating douche with a superiority complex? Like you literally just told me that because I can grow a beard and a woman can't that I'm sexist. You need to stay off Tumblr for a while dude, you seriously just went full retard. Yes, you have the folks that take the beard thing too far but those people are a very vocal MINORITY, yes there are people that think that because they can grow a beard, they're better than someone that can't. Again, they are a MINORITY. Our society is actually bent more towards clean shaven men, in our movies and TV shows and clothes adds no one ever gets past a stubble so you can't even bullshit your way through with that argument. And the argument about having to be an emotionless manlyman is stupid and outdated and increasingly less common especially as our generation and how comparatively open minded we are as a generation starts having kids. I don't even know how to wrap this up or make it more cohesive partially because I just woke up. Your entire argument is flawed and stupid honestly, all of the people you describe are a minority and our society is geared towards clean shaven, wash board, no haired men versus people like me,with beards and a carpet on their chest. Personally I don't think my pride in my beard is a bad thing but hey, if you think that makes me a woman-hating elitist, you go right ahead.
i literally said merely having a beard doesnt make u a misogynist gg dude!
Yeah your "disclaimer" said it but then you went on to basically blast everyone about it instead of wording it around said disclaimer. It's like saying "with all due respect, go fuck yourself".
shave ur gross ass beard beardo [editline]8th October 2014[/editline] nah but like yea my post was shittily written cos i was not long up so what I meant was a bit grey/messy I will not deny that but i clearly did not mean "if u have a beard u hate women" lol
I may have bitched about this already but Alien Isolation just looks really boring. Now I haven't played it yet, so if someone who has wants to correct me on this, I'm open to it, but the game just doesn't look scary at all. You can get a flamethrower, a revolver, a shotgun, and you're telling me you can't kill a single xenomorph with any of that? It makes no sense. Xenomorphs are dangerous, yeah, but they're killable. Blast one with a shotgun, and it's going to die. It makes it seem like having people and guns in the game was an afterthought so the game wasn't Outlast with an Alien skin over it. Again, if you've played the game and I'm completely wrong, then feel free to correct me, but this is just my opinion from watching the previews.
As much as I dislike Shadow the Hedgehog, I like the soundtrack. Not including the songs with the vocal tracks. The tracks I seem to enjoy the most are Lava Shelter, Cosmic Fall, The Doom, Mad Matrix, Central City and GUN Fortress.
I don't care about Oasis or Wonderwall. Wonderwall just sounds like one of those lame, feel good songs.

Like the people who can grow a beard and wear it normally are fine it's the annoying weirdos that grow out something ridiculously large and dumb to the point it doesn't make you look good or sexy but homeless, the people who talk non stop about their big manly beard or talk about how manly they are now because their beard is 13 meters long and such it's obnoxious. Like these people also like to relate to the Vikings stereotype all the time too but even the Vikings fucken trimmed and took care of their hair lol like they would probably laugh at these people or think they are weird. If you feel like it doesn't apply to you it probably doesn't and I don't know why then you are getting offended? But yeah the women hating thing is a bit much.
I'm not offended, I guess more incredulous than anything.
I don't care about Oasis or Wonderwall. Wonderwall just sounds like one of those lame, feel good songs.
IMO it's a horrible song because of how boring it is. I'd rather listen to a song I can hate, instead of one that's just boring.
CSGO's weapon mechanics are massively fucked and really make the game not fun to play.
CSGO's weapon mechanics are massively fucked and really make the game not fun to play.
Some of the guns have ridiculous recoil for some unknown reason, too. Body armor in CSGO is also fucked, because it's useless. Take a hit with body armor on? You'll lose a lot more HP than armor. Get shot in the chest with a shotgun? You'll likely die in two hits, while still retaining 60-70% armor. How does that make sense? During development, who thought that would work out?

The Xenomorph will just adapt to you, the flamethrower is the only thing that's truly effective against it (use it too much and it'll find other ways to get you). It's scarier than Amnesia imo and I'm a huge pussy, mainly because they nailed the atmosphere down and it's just a sense of hopelessness and its tense.
I'm glad someone finally agrees, whenever i say that i dislike CS:GO because of all the problems it created and didn't fix i inevitably get someone that's super butthurt hollering at me.

I've personally shot people in the space between their knees (with the AWP, ofc) and it be considered a 1 shot kill. Of course, it may have been latency, but I digress
I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but Daft Punk's "One More Time" is an absolutely terrible song, actually painful to listen to.
