"Ask" is supposed to rhyme with "task" not "tax".
Our society is actually bent more towards clean shaven men, in our movies and TV shows and clothes adds no one ever gets past a stubble so you can't even bullshit your way through with that argument.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/PwDtvnq.jpg[/t] Main character in three movies and one of the main cast in at least one other. That's not stubble.
"Ask" is supposed to rhyme with "task" not "tax".
This is unpopular??

This is unpopular??
Okay, so? That's ONE example. Build yourself a list of who has any sort of beard versus who doesn't in movies alone and it's seriously tilted towards clean-shaven, not to mention in other forms of media and basically all advertising.

You said no one EVER gets past the stubble stage. I proved that claim wrong.
This is more of a preference than an opinion, but salty stuff is so much better than sweet stuff like, I'll take fries over cookies any day (if i didn't care about my health suddenly but w/e)
So now you're changing your criteria? You said no one EVER gets past the stubble stage. I proved that claim wrong.
Are you really nitpicking like that? That's stupid. Clearly there's exceptions, there's always exceptions, why would you ever take that literally. My point was, obviously, that the standard is typically clean-shaven in most forms of media and advertising.

Don't say something never happens if you don't mean that it doesn't ever happen.

Don't try to give me some lesson in my manner of speech, my point was gotten across one way or the other, you just decided to nitpick and look for something to argue about. Besides, arguing petty semantics in anything is stupid. [editline] October 8 2014 [/editline] Lol how did it even come to this, the original argument was based on him more or less saying have masculine pride is misogynistic and sexist, why not take the piss out of that instead of arguing over wording.
Obviously your point wasn't made adequately because you didn't bother saying what you meant?? I mean seriously. That's blatantly obvious by the fact someone has repeatedly said as much now.
The new smash bros., while good, is seriously lacking in content. I hope the Wii-U version will offer more, but I doubt it will.

Don't try to give me some lesson in my manner of speech, my point was gotten across one way or the other, you just decided to nitpick and look for something to argue about.
"This never happens at all" "It does happen (with proof)" "I didn't mean it never happens when I said 'it never happens' how don't you understand?" Literally what was said. When alot of opinions here are argued with facts, sounding factual in saying "This thing never occurs" is probably a silly idea. Like I get your point, but this can't possibly be unexpected when the usual result of a post here that can be proven untrue is it gets proven as such rather quickly.
Like I get your point, but this can't possibly be unexpected when the usual result of a post here that can be proven untrue is it gets proven as such rather quickly.
Also if you just want the subject dropped it's usually a lot easier to accomplish that by getting over yourself long enough to admit you might have made a simple mistake.
How is it lacking, may I ask? (I don't own it)
They took out event matches. They stripped away break the targets, which taught you how to use your character, and replaced it with Target Smash- which is awful. No singleplayer mode akin to adventure or subspace. No special melee. No Tournament Mode. Significantly less Music. Fewer stages than any iteration past 64- fewer returning stages than brawl. No level creator. Fewer challenges. Still a good game, but all of that really disappoints me. [editline]9th October 2014[/editline] Also playing Smash on a 3DS is a fucking nightmare.

Anarchy is illegal, right? Is it legal to consider ones self a "sovereign citizen"?
I prefer my Ketchup not to be chilled. Fight me.
You're a fucking monster and I actually hate you. It's the fucking worst especially with my girlfriend who likes hers non-chilled like a plebeian. "hey babe can you get me the ketchup" "yeah sure" i then apply a heavy helping to my french fries or whatever I'm having which needs some sweet chilled tomato gunk applied to it then I take my first bite and straight away i grab my belt and beat the shit out of her for even considering feeding me non-chilled shit tier ketchup.
Anarchy is illegal, right? Is it legal to consider ones self a "sovereign citizen"?
It's not illegal to subscribe to an ideology, so neither calling yourself an anarchist, nor calling yourself a sovereign citizen are illegal. However, both movements, sovereign citizens especially, are known for having radical members who break various property laws (some sovereign citizen movements are pretty violent though and are considered one of the greatest threats to America, above jihadists). I don't get who would want to be associated with those groups, though, seeing as most of them are dicklords. [editline]9th October 2014[/editline] Wait was that post supposed to be here? It doesn't seem to be that on-topic.
Anarchy is illegal, right? Is it legal to consider ones self a "sovereign citizen"?
Just saying you're one is perfectly legal, free speech and whatnot. However the sovereign citizen movement is based on the idea that a person can be above the law entirely because they want to be, as such actually following this ideology and refusing to acknowledge government authority, comply with the law, or pay taxes is highly illegal, and as such all of these can and will get you arrested, continuing to conduct yourself in such a manner will also most likely result in you resisting arrest and being charged appropriately, and further continuing the idiocy all the way into your trial will end with you being found in contempt of court.

[editline]9th October 2014[/editline] Also playing Smash on a 3DS is a fucking nightmare.
This is pretty fucking scary to hear, because last time I checked, I thought the Wii U version was meant to be a carbon copy of the 3DS version. I never cared about competitive Smash, and removing all of the things I found fun about Melee and Brawl pretty much killed it for me. At least I won't be wasting my cash on the new game now.
I feel that the recoil system is okay, but the hit detection is way off. I've personally shot people in the space between their knees (with the AWP, ofc) and it be considered a 1 shot kill. Of course, it may have been latency, but I digress
The recoil is the problem. Literally only the first two bullets hit where the crosshair is pointed and after that just curve out the barrel into nowhere. And the recoil animations do not make an accurate representation of of the recoil at all.
I can't wait for the initial hype and the "but its nintendo!" to wear off and hear how lacking it is from majority.
except its not, believe it or not people like things regardless of hype and whoever makes it yeah, the 3ds verion is lacking in aspects, but its also quite fulfilling in lots of others also don't worry your opinion doesn't need to be verified with the majority for it to be valid
I guess this isn't really "unpopular" but kinda controversial, I literally cannot wrap my head around how some people prefer 30fps to 60fps when it comes to video games.
Canada sucks. Half of them speak french, and the other half let them.
People that don't adjust wonky picture frames when they go past them are demons of pure evil and should not be trifled with.

Yea I dont get it. It's such a bullshit reason that literally does not make sense??? Films run smooth lmao that's the point. They run at 24fps cos they have motion blur meaning they don't NEED more frames. Games don't have motion blur so they need higher framerate (motion blur in games is not real motion blur it's just an effect that looks like shit) I don't get how people still think 30fps is better like it LITERALLY makes for a worse feeling game experience due to input lag and response as well as the fact that it visually looks shit and sluggish compared to 60?
I imagine that very few people in this thread will understand my complaint but I'm going to say it anyway. I've been reading John Steward Mill's book "On Liberty" for a University course and that book is terrible. I've never read a book that has put such simple concepts in as many words, everyone talks about how important a book it is but it's so poorly written, much of the book is just him going off on tangents and citing examples of what is and isn't liberty and by the end of the tangent you've forgotten what the original point is.
People that don't adjust wonky picture frames when they go past them are demons of pure evil and should not be trifled with.
My friend's front room has intentionally crooked pictures all over one of the walls. It's amazing.
call me blind or what have you but I usually can't notice the difference between 60 and 30 anyways i only notice when there's framerate drops or really bad lag
