Honestly, something doesn't add up with this Ed Snowden thing, looking at his record his credentials don't make much sense, he doesn't strike me as the type of person who'd be a very trustworthy source, but to most people none of that matters as long as he gives them a reason to chant "fuck da po-leece", a lot like Alex Jones and conspiracy theorists in general in that regard. Personally I think we should question wanna-be revolutionaries just as much if not more than anything else.
I think in cases like this current one with the guy who fled to Hong Kong, they were in the right. Although in the case of revealing positions or patrols I'd agree with you, it'd be wrong to potentially give away the military's position to the enemy and risk the lives of many people.
Snowden did the right thing. The government has no business in knowing what we do. I'm talking about people like Bradley Manning. Being bullied is no reason to potentially compromise another man or woman's life.

The Metal Gear Solid games aren't nearly as incredible as people say they are. Don't get me wrong, they're fun to play, but the stories are very stupid, with decades-long cutscenes that hold your hand through every point that is ever made in dialogue by constantly fleshing out every statement made, and the characters can be sometimes laughable. Of course, the only exception to this is Peace Walker, the only MGS game to have a story that truly sucked me in aided with great replay value.
"Innocent until proven guilty" is all well and good in court and in the media, but investigation of a suspect requires the assumption of guilt. I'm all for judges, juries, and reporters following the idea that guilt must be proven (not that reporters ever do), but for police investigators it's innocence that needs to be proven. tl;dr, there are times when you do have to assume someone is guilty and/or prove their innocence rather than simply disprove guilt.
I don't get the Israeli hate train sometimes. It's not like all those Palestinian groups are entirely innocent and pure. And I'm assured they can't just up and remove Israel then relocate all of its citizens without hundreds being murdered by small terrorist cells or just being engulfed in general chaos.
The israeli hate thing is only relevant because the media loves to publish it. People just gobble it all up so its no wonder its gets reported on so much. Nobody gives a shit about Myanmar where buddhists and muslims are killing each other for example, it gets not even 1% of the attention the israeli-palastinian conflict gets.
If I married a woman and I found out she was a hermaphrodite (at least potent in a female sense) or was into using strap-ons, I would be okay with it.
If I married a woman and I found out she was a hermaphrodite (at least potent in a female sense) or was into using strap-ons, I would be okay with it.
I would've at least preferred she tell me BEFORE we get married. I don't think it'd skew my decision either way, I would just prefer to know.
If I was to get raped in jail, I'd ask the man to make me cum too.

Borderlands is a shit series with shitty art and shitty gameplay
I like centralized power structures.

The only reason I don't support the death penalty is because I think some people don't deserve the peace death will bring them.
80's horror movies are only good watch to laugh at how cheesy they are. None of them are scary. And yes I've watched them alone in the dark. There were a couple of slightly chilling scenes in A Nightmare of Elm Street. But then the 80's electro music would come in while Freddie was chasing people with his 4 metre long arms and I couldn't help but laugh. People evolve to become scared of different things. And we have grown past almost all the cliche's you see in those movies.
Emma Watson, Isn't hot at all
The only reason I don't support the death penalty is because I think some people don't deserve the peace death will bring them.
But for some people, letting them live is a crime against humanity, take Albert Fish for example, he raped, tortured, killed and ate small children for no reason.
But for some people, letting them live is a crime against humanity, take Albert Fish for example, he raped, tortured, killed and ate small children for no reason.
Death is to light for a man like he was. He deserved to rot in a dark, dank cell all by himself. People like him don't deserve humane treatment, they've already forfeit their humanity.
Emma Watson, Isn't hot at all
She may be pretty but i don't understand all the love she gets
She may be pretty but i don't understand all the love she gets
Yea, thats what I mean.
Persons who manage to make governments enact policies favorable towards alternative medical treatments, diet woo, or otherwise damaging policies to the healthcare of the population, should be arrested. I do not care for what you say. These treatments should save lives, and if we know they don't (or even cause harm), the perpetrators should be held criminally responsible.
Immortality honestly sounds really shitty. Why would I want to live forever while everyone else dies?
the designs in halo 2/3 were absolute garbage and the story was a train wreck. 343 made the MC armor a bit more functional looking with tubes and a smoother overall look instead of scratches, bumps, and abs for no reason. I never liked how people were dying, cortana spent practically a month in a flood-infested environment, and the prophet got within seconds of activating a halo and all they were doing was making one-liners and cracking jokes the whole time. 343i, while not doing the best of jobs in terms of gameplay, took something of a right step in the direction in terms of story. halo 5 might make up for it, but releases on a shitty console, so it's going to fall under a hail of hatred regardless. I feel that Destiny is going to become a disappointment somehow. I feel that posting this in the halo megathread would make me a box fortress.
i played bioshock infinite for around two hours straight and was incredibly bored by it i mean i literally cannot understand why anyone would like it, besides the decent story
The Oculus Rift looks pretty promising and I will probably buy one, but I don't think it's "the future of gaming" or anything like that. It'll be a bit more widespread than TrackIR for example, but it'll still be a niche thing.
I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, something I just haven't heard mentioned, or just something that nobody else has even remembered: but the Xbox 360/One Kinect reminds me of those old EyeToy cameras for PS2.
I thought Brink was an alright game, and despite the laundry list of flaws it has, it's pretty fun
I thought Brink was an alright game, and despite the laundry list of flaws it has, it's pretty fun
It was incredibly disappointing though. Everyone was super excited for it and all we got was a consolised fps with parkour and more bugs and instability than anyone could measure. To make matters worse they focused on making map packs that you had to buy instead of fixing the game. They only made them free because it was a trainwreck. That being said it doesn't matter now because nobody will play those maps since the game is dead. It has to be one of the fastest games to get deserted after launch.
