I don't find cringeworthy things to be funny or amusing in any particular way. All it does is make me cringe. Wicked badly. I don't know how people can laugh at that stuff, it just makes me tense up and shake my head in shame.
I actually enjoy watching Auction Hunters. I could not give less of a fuck about the drama and whatever behind it but it's interesting to see all the old stuff.

So if something in particular is interesting; I can then go google it to find out more.
jesus christ was probably a real person
jesus christ was probably a real person
I think that Jesus was a real guy who helped many people, but his "powers" were somewhat exaggerated.
jesus christ was probably a real person
iirc most historians agree he was a real person, but the details are sketchy, such as there was no census in 0AD but there was in both 6BC and 6AD
I think that Jesus was a real guy who helped many people, but his "powers" were somewhat exaggerated.
Hey, when you give some people win they'll believe anything you tell them :v:
I don't really know how this is debatable. Haven't we found evidence now? Just no evidence that he was the messiah or anything.
-snip, on second thought this isn't right-
You shouldn't be charged for a speeding ticket with only evidence from a machine. Machines don't have context. Machines don't have a heart.
yeah but said machine tells someone with a heart that you were speeding
jesus christ was probably a real person
Historically, Jesus Christ was a real person. That's not an opinion, it's a fact. It's just that all of his miracles and the religious stuff was exaggerated. It would have made more sense if you posted about whether or not you believe what he did actually happened.
iirc most historians agree he was a real person, but the details are sketchy, such as there was no census in 0AD but there was in both 6BC and 6AD
I sure hope there wasn't a census in the year 0AD. There was no year 0. :v:
If you ask your kid for a helping hand doing something quickly, there's no problem in that. Could happen every day, could happen every few weeks. They're part of the family and there should be no trouble in asking them to help you out a little bit. But then there's parents that just fucking expect their kid to do everything for them every single day, wake them up at 8:00 AM on weekends because it's "sleeping in", and treat them like garbage when they miss one small part of the HUGE projects they're given every day. There's asking your kid for a helping hand and then there's just turning them into your fucking bitch until they move out when they're 18 or older. I've seen so many parents do this to help their kids "build respect" and it fucking pisses me off. Treating them like garbage is not going to motivate them, especially when they're as young as 8. It's just going to make them sneaky. They're not robots that are programmed to do whatever you want whenever you want, they're human fucking beings and eventually, they're not going to take your bullshit.
You have just described my childhood from the age of 13 till 20
iirc most historians agree he was a real person, but the details are sketchy, such as there was no census in 0AD but there was in both 6BC and 6AD
There were dozens of self-proclaimed Messiahs who were executed by the Romans. However, it's the fact that the historical Jesus managed to rally the Jews much more than the earlier revolutionaries, and that his message was spread in defiance of Roman oppression.
I don't think there's even half as much of a problem with sexism in games as people say there is. Now I'm not talking online, because there's pretty blatantly some big problems there. I'm talking singleplayer, and characters and shit, I really can't think of enough examples to declare that there's a problem industry wide. And I can think of plenty of girl characters who are acceptable or great. Kreia, Mira, and the Handmaiden from KotOR 2, Tandi or Amata from the Fallout series, Jeanette and Therese from Vampire: The Masquerade, just about all the girls in TES from Morrowind onwards are acceptable, Lilli from Psychonauts is cool, all the girls from Skullgirls are radical, so on and so forth.
Craptasket is a pretty good mod

But that could also be because the romans probably didn't take much notice in some random hebrew saying he was the son of God.

Take Juilet from Lollipop Chainsaw for example. Now I haven't played the game, but from what I can tell, She's in control, powerful, and doesn't need help from any conspicuously strong male characters. Then look at Jodie from Beyond Two Souls. Constantly getting nearly killed or raped (there was actually a cut sequence where she actually could get raped), Despite having Aiden, she needs her boyfriend (who's so stock and boring that I don't even remember his fucking face) who has no special powers at all to save her in many situations.

They're looking no further in to a female character than her outward appearance which is...ironically a really shallow and sexist way to look at a girl character. :v:
While I will admit that character design is more than aesthetics, that doesn't really change the common dichotomy of male and female characters, the latter are often given over sexualized appearances for no purpose beyond giving people something to ogle. And it is rather sexist that it's applied almost entirely to one and not the other.
Well-done steak is perfectly fine and tastes good. I can't stand the sort of middle-cooked fleshy taste of steak that isn't cooked through.
I don't like steak period. Chewy meat drives me nuts.
I would take potatoes over meat any day.
Craptasket is a pretty good mod
He's a fairly bad shitposter and troll though and often seems to favor certain people when it comes to bans. (See: Not banning certain GMFers when they're doing the same shit as the people who get banned or especially banning transgender people in transgender threads for getting pissy when people are being stupid yet ignoring the people who are blatantly trolling and shitposting.) That's why so many people get up in arms over his moderating.

The characters in Skullgirls actually have unique personalities, but it's significantly easier to pretend the game is sexist by only paying attention to the aesthetics of the game. Instead of focusing on real problems in the industry.
I like Dai as a moderator. I know there is a lot of controversy over him supporting weird porn threads, but other then that, he does a pretty good job. I don't think that I've ever seen him banning anyone with a reason that I would disagree with.
I honestly don't care that porn/NSFW content threads exist. FP used to be solely about Gmod, and over the years it grew, now there are forums and subforums about anything. There's nothing at all wrong with change.
Personally I think that with porn threads it should either be everything legal, or nothing. If you wanna keep sex out of the forums then go after all the porn threads (or just stop going to the porn threads, because that's not exactly hard to do), not just the one that Craptasket dislikes.
I don't get Anime... Sorry just can't stand it
