That SH thread about the woman not allowed to wear a burkha in court is full of some hilarious double standards.
Most controversial SH threads are.
Modern Warfare 2 is the best Modern Warfare game ever. I don't care how bad it was balanced me and my friends had the most fun on that game and still play it occasionally.
I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, something I just haven't heard mentioned, or just something that nobody else has even remembered: but the Xbox 360/One Kinect reminds me of those old EyeToy cameras for PS2.
Those EyeToy things had body tracking, too, and they were goddamn accurate. The kinect wasn't as high tech as Microsoft said it was.

All I care about in my multiplayer FPS games is responsiveness and balance and having to rely on some 12 year old hosting the game from his moms netbook on satellite internet in the middle of Brazil was awful. If Ghosts doesn't have dedicated servers I'm not even going to bother even though I find CoD to be a fun game itself.

Oh, unpopular opinion, um, Borderlands 2 wasn't actually all that good. And RE6 wasn't all that bad. It just shouldn't have been a "Resident Evil" game.
fuck space exploration, people should invest time and money to explore the ocean.
fuck space exploration, people should invest time and money to explore the ocean.
we are much more likely to discover new forms of life there than in space after all
"Innocent until proven guilty" is all well and good in court and in the media, but investigation of a suspect requires the assumption of guilt. I'm all for judges, juries, and reporters following the idea that guilt must be proven (not that reporters ever do), but for police investigators it's innocence that needs to be proven. tl;dr, there are times when you do have to assume someone is guilty and/or prove their innocence rather than simply disprove guilt.
Haven't you ever heard of a suspect? [editline]13th June 2013[/editline] Also I'm intrigued by serial killers. I find it kind of fascinating to read about them on Wikipedia.
I don't think Xbox One is a bad console and it looks/seems pretty cool to me. The only thing I worry about are their servers.
Rewriting history to suit political agendas is detrimental to society in the long run.
But seriously is it weird to read about serial killers on Wikipedia? I don't know if anyone else does that ever
Realistic war games aren't unpopular amongst most gamers because they're "too complicated," they're unpopular because they're massively under-marketed and get jack shit for support, ultimately yielding an unsuccessful product. I bet you that if a pseudo-milsim with reasonably good gameplay and support was marketed to a large audience and given up-to-date graphics, it would sell a lot more. Look at how popular Arma 2 is, for instance. I also think it's a misconception that small communities tend to be better in overall quality, since people have less incentive to behave and/or be welcoming towards outsiders if there are fewer people around to witness them. Similarly, having a larger community will statistically yield a greater number of individuals who are talented.

Compare to CoD, for example, action happens almost instantly, but milsims require you to go around and it's a while before anything happens.
Rewriting history to suit political agendas is detrimental to society in the long run.
Is that really an unpopular opinion? I honestly can't see why anyone would disagree with it unless they were doing those same things themselves.
Tumblr is better than Reddit.
Is that really an unpopular opinion? People think it's fine when they do it, and they justify it in their head, but in the end it's no different no matter who's behind it.
The PATRIOT act has had more impact as a buzzword than the actual law.
The PATRIOT act has had more impact as a buzzword than the actual law.
Well I think having to go to the airport 3 fucking hours before my flight to get strip searched by the TSA is quite a change from board-on/board-off airports in the 1990's..

If anything this proves my point, people don't even know what the law actually is and just use it as a blanket term.
This is more of a local issue, but I don't think Ricky Snyder has been as bad a governor as people make him out to be, at least he's actually tried to fix things.

I'm probably the only one who thinks that Nintendo should approach some non-Nintendo game composers for SSB4's soundtrack, including but not limited to Alexander Brandon (Deus Ex, Tyrian, UT99), Doyle W Donehoo (Dawn of War 2), Robert Prince (Doom), and Sound Holic (Made some awesome megaman arrangements)
that is not an unpopular opinion even the rest of 4chan hates /b/
Every time I've said it here I get 'd. I'd say that makes it unpopular.

Their arranges are amazing
